On the Cliffs edge

All around you there is something extraordinarily bright and colourful. Different specks of colour dapple the meadow. The grass shifts slight as a gentle breeze works its way across the field before tumbling off the cliff into open air.

Near the cliffs' edge there is a small bundle of purple and aqua. You approach the figure who seems to be adamant on tying something around it's foot. You realize the bundle is a Faerie Shoyru, and by the looks of it, female.

She turns round and smiles broadly, her green eyes sparkling.

uh...Hi! Well, this is my, well..uh...

It's a cliff darling.

Welcome to my Cliff!" She says with new confidence. "The green is Faith talking, feel free to ignore her, she likes interrup-

I do NOT! You take that back...

She laughs nervously, trying to push Faith off the cliff discreetly. Faith frowns at Tafaei and whistles. A dark purple figure appears swerving to land in front of her. She climbs on the darigan eyrie's back. 

Just be back by dinner, okay?

Tafaei nods and turns back to you. "They're going home now, that was my sister Loathen. She can be quite scary." Tafaei settles herself to tying the cloths around her feet again. You look at her puzzled.

These things are just strips of an old blanket I used to have. They're my good luck charms when flying." She stands up and you notice she is about half of your height, a rather tall shoyru.

When I was younger I used to not be able to fly." She says sadly, ruffling her wings with new pride. You ask her if she could elaborate, to your knowledge shoyru's have always been able to fly.

Are you sure you want to hear?" She asks, looking at you inquisitively, you nod and she leads you to a more sheltered clearing, as the wind was beginning to get stronger.
