About TOGA

Welcome to the TOGA (Teams of Glorious Altadorians) webbie. This group was created during ACII and has carried on since. We consist of active Altador team members who either chat in on the TOGA boards or in the TOGA guild. As you read through this page, you will learn more about TOGA and the Altador Team in general. The TOGA webbie should be updated throughout the course of the cup with Altador news, cheers, etc. Make sure to stop by our chat boards as well! Players from all AC teams are welcome to chat with us.

About Pledges

Pledges are a great way to keep motivated during the cup. In short, Rank Pledges are your personal goals of what rank you aim to reach for the team. General Pledges can include high scores, high totals for the day, and other random accomplishments.

Having a pledges page is beneficial because written goals and checking progress has been proven to motivate the completion of goals. Also, this page will allow other team members to encourage others to reach their pledge. Members will be asked to submit their progress on June 12th for Rank Pledges which is the first break day and about 1/2 way through the Cup. Marking of the completion of General Pledges may be given at any time throughout the cup.

The Rank System The ranks and times given for the rank pledges are based on the ACIV rank system. These times assume that you are playing/winning Yooyuball and that each game of YYB takes you about 2.5 minutes to win. (Yooyuball wins are the fastest way to rank up). Times per day do not include time during the 4-day finals. Also, these times are rounded and are only estimations; actual time needed may vary.

The Conversions
2 YYB Draws = 1 YYB win
2 SS Games = 1 YYB win
12 MSN Games = 1 YYB win
12 SHSH Games = 1 YYB win


Note: The minimum score for SS to count towards your rank is 300. The minimum score for MSN to count towards your rank is either 2500 or 3000.
