The woods are deep and you push your way past low shrubs and overhanging tree branches. You know that you're lost, but it really doesn't seem to bother you. The day is nice, the weather is good, and you have all the necessary supplies with you. Something feels a little odd, though, as you notice it's slowly growing quieter and quieter the deeper you get into this little forest. Lots of eyes seem to be watching you from their little hiding places. You pause, to see if you brought some sort of map with you, when you feel a gust of wind blow by your back.
As the breeze returns to normal you spot the culprit of that gust--- a small, blue shoyru flying high into the seemingly endless clouds. It's a clear day, and she seems intent on finding something. She stops to rest in a forest clearing ahead, mist still sitting on the leaves around her landing spot. Everything around her is bursting with life, and as the soft dew dances on each of the petals and leaves of nearby trees and plants, she lays her head down and breaths in deeply. A lot has been weighing heavily on her mind, and this tiny bit of peace seems to be just the thing she needs. She looks over to you with her giant, azure eyes, not surprised by your presence or passing by. After all, you had been watching her up in the sky minutes ago, and being a person of very nosy nature, you had followed her to this exact clearing. She smiles a sweet, innocent smile, one filled with many stories to tell to those who listen. You want to say something to her but you're not sure exactly what to say. Its then that you notice the strange white markings on her body. Usually that wouldn't bother you, after all, many pets have odd markings, but this time is different. They seem to be almost glowing. You take a step back, rub your eyes, and look again, but this time the shoyru is gone. Stunned, you look around to see if she might have darted off into the sky or behind some of the bushes, but no luck. She just disappeared. You know that no shoyru could move that fast, especially not one of her size, and doubt that speed was used in her vanishing act. After some time convincing yourself that your hunger had made you delirios and that there was never a shoyru in the clearing, you decide to keep exploring the forest and move on. Something feels unusual as you start to leave, however, and you can't shake off the feeling that you just witnessed something amazing. You feel almost as if there was some connection between the small shoyru and you, and her smile, the one that seemed to say "everything will be ok now", won't leave your mind. You shrug off the thoughts and continue. It must just be your hunger...
The Origin and the Future:
I never really knew my mother or father. My mother died when I was very young in a terrible fire, and my father left even before that. I grew up in the Institute; a dreadful place run by dreadful people.
They were always doing experiments on pets in the Institute, as if
They owned them. Very early on I decided to run away. It was hard getting out, especially since the Institute was very high on the snowy mountains. Once I broke free I wondered down in the blizzard looking for some type of shelter. I felt like I was going to pass out--- that is, until
it happened. That was the first time and first experience I ever had with my time twisting abilities. I was so worn out, that I guess it just kicked in as a defense mechanism. My white markings began to glow, and not soon after did time itself freeze for me. The snow, the wind, the water--- everything. I walked all the way down the mountain and into a small village before the glow stopped and time caught up with me.
It was there, in that small village, that I met my adoptive mother, spyrocor. Lucky for me that she had been coming out of one of the shops and saw me lying, pasted out, in the snow. Spyrocor loves to travel around Neopia and look for things to draw. She's very inspired by the world around her, so that means she lets me travel on my own a lot. It was on one of these explorations that I ran into this clearing, which I've now made my home. Here I met some of the best friends a shoyru could ask for, and together with them, went into the future. I know it seems odd for a shoyru to be moving around in the timeline, but it's not as simple as it seems. I don't pick how far into the future or past I can go, it just happens. With them I visited a future at least 3000 years from now, where They had taken over and the world had been overruled by chaos and vines. Seeing that future made me realize that you can't always run away from your problems. I always wonder what would have happened if I had stayed at the Institute and defeated Them then. What would that future have been like if They never would have taken over?
They never let me leave so easy. I had one of the hardest fights in my life when I was in the future. I almost lost a dear friend of mine to Their vines. Vines which, by the way, steal your soul, leaving it to rot in the Crystal. The Crystal; I'll never forget its power. Only with the combined power of space and time were the souls trapped in the Crystal set free. And only with those powers were They trapped in the Crystal afterward. I know I should have been thrilled that They were finally trapped, but something always bugged me about it. It was so far in the future, and I always wonder if They're going to do something in the present to prevent it from happening. You have to understand, They are a horrifying, evil creature. Everything you do is turned against you and slashed back out at you a thousand times harder when you try to fight Them. They are very big on mental fights, where They get inside your mind, amplify your mistakes and faults, and make you think your some type of monster. You have to be very strong to fight Then, and without hope and belief in yourself, you can never win.
I did learn something after my future trip, though. I learned that everything you do is connected to someone else in some way. Your actions will always have consequences, whether they are good or bad. It's up to you to live your life and not let anything bring you down. I also learned to forgive, as before They became trapped, They told me what happened to my mother. She didn't just die, They lit the fire to kill her. I almost lost myself at that point, because I didn't think I could ever just forgive someone for something like that. I didn't really understand at the time that everything happens for a reason, but I know that now. I know now that if you focus your life on one bad thing that happens to you, you're never going to notice all the beauty in the world that's passing you by. And if They wouldn't have killed her and taken me in, then I never would have escaped and gone to the future with my friends and trapped Them. Everything worked out in the end, and though the trip was long and hard, I know it was worth it. I learned to be a protector, and use my own power to help the innocent. I learned how good it felt to finally feel the sun on my back and hear the wind sing again. I learned to forgive, if not forget, and move on with my life. I learned to live.
So here I am now. After the future trip I returned here, to this clearing, the place I first left to go timeline hopping. This is my oasis; the place where I am most at peace with myself. A very special shoyru, Cyrilnova, who had came with me and helped my trap Them, lives here too. Together we surf the stars and ride in the wind, always being there when people need us. We are protectors, and no matter how far away either of us travel or how long we're gone, we will always return here. After all, this my home…

Abilities- Time Twister; Can freeze, move forward, and move backwards in time. Sometimes gets visions of her friends, but not often.
Yazang the Dragoyle:
Yazang the Dragoyle is a very special petpet. He has his own time twisting ability, actually, that really sets him apart from other Dragoyles. When Sytheria freezes time, Yazang can actually move through it without her having to help him. He can also do a little timeline jumping on his own, though not near as much, as often, or as powerful as Sytheria. He did, though, save her before from
Them.
Sytheria found Yazang wondering the mountain side alone. No one knows where he came from, or how he got the time traveling abilities, but it assumed that he was one of the petpet's from the Institute that was experimented on by Them. Sytheria and Yazang have become very close, and both share a great love for one another. He is extremely sweet, though a bit shy, and will do anything to protect Sytheria. They really look out for one another, and the bond between the two is very tight.

Cyrilnova--He is the last member of the shoyru subspecies called the 'Star Shoyen'. I meet him in the Clearing, back when I was first learning my powers. I took him to the future, and since then he's helped me save it a number of times. He is extremely brave and kind, though he seems very hard on himself. He has a very complicated past, but no matter what happened, I still love him just the way he is. Somehow, he always seems to be able to make me smile, even when I feel down, and I am truly grateful for that.
Lupuslatina--She is so clever and smart, and died in an avalanche long ago. I don't really know why she hasn't moved on yet; I guess shes still here watching over Cyrilnova. She is a ghost Lupe, but don't let her appearance fool you. She is extremely witty, and it gives me such amazing fun to talk to her. She, being Cyrilnova's aunt, came with us when I first took them to the future. She really has saved my backside so many times, and I know I owe her a lot. She is always there when I need her most, and I thank her for that.
Love:
Love? This is a pretty hard subject for me to talk about. There is a shoyru that I think I'm falling in love with, and I know he loves me back. He makes me feel like I can face anything head on. Cyrilnova; he really is my shooting star. I don't know about our future, but I know that right now, there's no one else I'd rather surf the stars with.
