Just in case you noticed, I updated Syrvali's pet design slightly. I gave her green on her wings and at the end of her tail, just wanted to make her design a little more unique and different from the regular Faerie Buzz.
» Jul.12.08 - Storyline added!
It seems I was randomly inspired to work on a story for Syrvali, so thus the prologue and first chapter are complete. Yes it is similiar to Zythrel's story in the beginning, because they grew up together what with being siblings and all. More to the story will be added soon!

I added some more nifty little things to make Syrvali's page even better; divider images, more navigation links, and this cool update box just like Maatius has. The layout also got a slight update, but nothing too big.

A crystal spring shimmers by day,
The forest guardian to lead the way.
Birds sing a morning ode,
Welcome to the Syrvali's abode.
The morning sun glistened on the horizon, casting away the darkness and stars of nightfall. Just heading to Brightvale, you come across a serene woodland and decide to take it as a shortcut. Dew sparkling on trees and vegitation around you, birds singing to greet the new day as you make your way through the forest, you stop to notice a glade with a crystal clear spring and decide to take a look, perhaps a rest would be nice. As you set foot in the spring, you notice a Gikerot resting on the rocks peacefully. Your attention toward the petpet, you hear something land in a nearby tree and turn around to find a dragon-like Buzz, sitting on a low branch. She smiles sweetly and flies down to greet you. Welcome to my humble abode, I don't get visitors too often but it's always nice nonetheless. Please make yourself at home, this forest is a very serene place so don't be in a hurry to leave. the Gikerot notices a visitor and hops over toward the Buzz to see who the guest is. Oh and this is my Gikerot, Willow. A pretty plain name, yes, but I'll tell you more about him later. While you're here I guess I could tell you a little bit about me, hopefully it's not to much of a bother.
» Prologue - The beggining
For centuries my kind had lived in peace, isolated from the rest of Neopia. We were an ancient race of Buzz who lived in secrecy and didn't associate with the outside world. When I was born I was considered special, destined for great things, said to one day lead our clan. My brother, Zythrel, on the other hand was deemed cursed, with the nearly uncontrollable power of electricity. Our mother loved both of us very dearly however, and taught us many things about life and existance. With them both, my childhood was a very happy one, till an unfortunate event happened...
» Chapter I - A painful memory
Me and Zythrel were in our home one day worrying about mother. She had came down with a horrible, unknown illness and hopes were looking dim. I saw father running up towards us and he seemed both angry and upset. I know he hated Zythrel so I hid him away while I talked with father. Syrvali, there's something I need to tell you... my father ran up to me frantically ...we couldn't cure her illness and...she's gone now.
Hopes crushed, I looked up to my father and denied it. Mother's...gone? It can't be! I said, a stream of tears flowing like a waterfall from my eyes as I shook my head in disbeleif and sorrow. I won't believe it!
I can't believe it either but...it's true. We couldn't save her. he paused for a moment, his face turned from sadness to anger, It had to have been Zythrel's fault. He was nothing but a problem the moment he came to exist!
Father, how could you say that!? It's not his fault he's different! I yelled in my brother's defense. How could you hate your OWN son?
You heard what everyone said, he's nothing but a monster! He's no son of mine! Father then turned away and left in his anger.
As he left I could see Zythrel, who was hiding under some blankets towards the corner of the room, with tears in his eyes. With father out of sight I walked over to my brother to comfort him. There's nothing wrong with you, Zyth. People shouldn't blame you; you haven't done anything to harm anybody. I hugged my younger brother as he sobbed in my arms.
Is mother really gone? he spoke to me, his voice shaken from both sadness and shock.
I wiped a tear from his eye and replied I'm afraid so. But don't worry, you still have me to look after you...and mother will be watching over us both from the heavens. Don't listen to what father and the others say; they're wrong about you.

I'm not like most Buzz however, me and Zythrel are quite different; more dragon-like than the others. But this information is so you get to know me better, guest, and the type of person I am.

My home is comfortably situated on the border of Brightvale. This place is like paradise and has it all ranging from fruits to art and books as well. Though I prefer my home, Brightvale is always a great place to be. Don't forget to pay a visit to the King. |

Even though most of my time is spent here at this spring, I do have those who I call family. These are the ones whom I care about and we look out for eachother. That's what I think truly defines a family.

Maatius is a very smart fellow; he's also a bookworm who loves history and such. Though he's usually at his oasis in the Lost Desert, he will sometimes drop by to visit or purchase some books at Brightvale.

Vakomar has been with our owner for the longest time out of all of us. He can often be seen wandering around with his Gallion or just enjoying a day at the market. Though his sad past, he tries his best to keep a good mood.

Last but not least is my brother Zythrel. Some people are afraid of him because of his abilities so he prefers to live in solitude. He's actually nice if you get to know him and joined our owner a month or so after I did.

 This is my current companion, Willow the Gikerot. He is of the curious sort and spends most of his time lounging around the springs. Also very skittish and shy around others, aside from me of course. I found him trying to take food from the shop in Shenkuu, so I decided to take the little burden to my home instead where he could be happier and wouldn't cause problems for the locals and tourists. |

Can my pet be friends with Syrvali?Well, it really depends on the personality and character of your Neopet, and weather I will want to roleplay or not. Of course though her friends can be other species, not just Buzz.
Is Willow her permanent petpet?Not really; I was rather planning to get her a petpet that will match her color scheme once she's Faerie; a Faerie Gallion is what I have in mind, an interesting companion for her. Will her adoptables be available in more colors and will you still take customs?
Yes, in due time I'll get more done and I don't think I'll ever retire customs for an adoptable.
Does Syrvali get lonely at her forest spring?Don't worry about her; she has her petpet and the butterflies that dwell there for company.
Has your BC entries ever been rejected for Syrvali's dragon-like appearence?
No, I believe the judge can tell she's a Buzz by her face (pupiless eyes, the jaw, spikes, etc.)
