Me with my mask.Me without.

A light blonde lupess sits on the edge of the beach as little ocean waves hit her paws. The red and yellow mixed into the sun as it set right on top of the ocean; making the water shimmer and sparkle. A soft smile came across her face at the sight of the event.
A white lupe made his way out of the forest. The sun lit him up as he walked toward his favorite spot on the beach: the shore.
Dark blue markings and swirls marked a few places on his slender but muscular body. Two white, angelic wings came out from his back and were folded neatly behind him.
Two long tails swished the wind around in a playful manner; one dark blue and the other white.
He gave off an aura of kindness, but a little bit of strangeness. A rope necklace was tied around his neck, and a large leather bag hung from it. He noticed a yellow figure but tried to ignore it. It smelled like a lupess.

She smelled sweet.

The scent kept drifting to his nostrils. He wouldn't admit this, but he liked the scent. He still tried to ignore it, staring into the endless waves. He wanted to see the sweet-scented lupess, but he tread his paws in place instead.
The yellow lupess was lost in the mind of the waves and the gorgeous sunset above it, ignoring and shoving aside everything else in her life. A few moments later the lupess gave her head a little shake, and she did a soft sigh. She lifted her head and looked to the side. What she saw was a figure down the line of the beach. Her ears perked and she straightened up. She didn't want to seem like she was staring so she quickly turned her head back toward the ocean.
Without looking at the figure she tried to smell. What she smelled was a lupine. She did not want to look to see who it was so she kept her eyes on the sunset and could only think about it.
The lupine gave in and started toward her. Slowly, it seemed, he moved to the yellow lupess. He wanted to see if the lupess was as beautiful as her scent was. He glanced at the bag around his neck, and looked quickly away, focusing on his destination.
The lupess could she him coming toward her from the corner of her eye. Not knowing if she should look at him or not. So for safety she kept her eyes on the ocean waiting for his approach.
He was only about three feet away, now, but she still wouldn't look at him, her eyes kept to the waves.

Two feet away...

Would she look at him soon?

One foot to go...

His paws slowed their quick movement. They nearly stopped, actually. She was more beautiful then her scent was. He wanted to turn and run, but he was stuck there by her beauty.
The lupess turned her eyes toward him, then her head, and her whole body. Not sure of what she should say she said a simple, "Hi." and then gave off a sweet smile. He sat down and started to move the sand around with his front paws.
Hey," He answered, glancing up at her and looking back down at the sand he was shifting shyly below. She smiled again and without knowing it, a light blush. "My name is Angel, what's your's?" she asked a little nervously. He looked to the side, avoiding her eyes, avoiding someone's eye for the first time in his life. "Syntul, but you can call me Syn...." He quietly murmured, barely enough for her to hear.
Syn..." she repeated "lovely..." she said after. She took a quick glance at the ocean than back at him. "Do you, erm, like the sunset o-over the ocean? And the beach?" she asked questioningly with a little shudder. Syn blinked a couple times and nodded. "What's wrong..?" He grew a confused, caring look.
Oh, um nothing, it's just I get really nervous when I meet new guys," Angel said then paused. "I mean new people." She gave off a grin and a little giggle. Syn looked off to the side and his white fur turned a reddish color for a moment before he stood up and looked out to the sea.
Angel gave off a soft smile than turned her body towards the sea." It's gorgeous," she said. Than she turned her head to Syn and asked "Don't ya think? Without looking at her he nodded, his fur moving slowly in the cool wind. His ears moved forward and back to the sounds of the ocean, the sun making his white fur glow a pinkish, sunset color.
The sun was starting to set, and it colored his fur the colors of the setting sun, his dark blue markings standing out like black against white, but blue against sunset. Her ears gave a slight perk as she stared at his fur turning the different colors of the sunset. She turned her head to the sunset, then back to Syn, back to the sunset, then back to Syn.
A smile came across her face as she continued to stare at his glistening pelt from the sunset.
Syn quietly watched for a few hours as the sun slowly started to sink below the sunset-painted ocean. "Sunsets are truly some of the most beautiful things..." He murmured as the sun disappeared below the rushing water's surface. Stars already began to dot the sky, more and more every passing minute. Those few minutes were perhaps the best of his life, being next to the most beautiful lupess he knew, watching the sunset turn into midnight and the red-violet sky turned black, while the ocean suddenly started to quiet, as if the wind slept soundly to the black sky...
She looked back up to the newly star lit sky. Her stomach flopped and turned and butterflies grew. She barely heard what he said, but that was enough and she gave a slight nod. As she thought and wondered What are these mixed feelings I'm getting for Syn? "Could it be...." she gave a glance at Syn,

Love...?

She looked down and from the thought of love she gave off a blush that crossed her face.
Syn felt a growing happiness inside him. It felt like when we was excited as a pup. He just felt like millions of wild creatures, such as butterflies or rabbits, were about to jump out of him.

Was this his heart?

He never really knew what his heart felt, since he was usually undisturbed, but in this case he felt better then ever before. His heart jumped and flew across the wild plain of his spirit. He wasn't sure what this feeling was.

Or was it a feeling?
Maybe something better...?

As her stomach churned and flopped and flipped around, she was trying to think of a person; a person who was important to her, but not her parents or her family. Like a friend...a close friend; a friend that wasn't really a friend but a love.

The first one that came to her mind was..."Syn..." she whispered so softly.

The feeling in her stomach felt like a volcano about to erupt. She thought in her head, 'I never ever want this feeling, this place...she looked over at Syn...to change...I want this to last forever... a soft smile crossed her face while she still looked at him.

Syn felt like he was in a picture, the frame of his life, picturing the best moment.

The best moment...was now.

He felt like the whole universe stopped for him, in this frame, this...picture.

This would be his favorite one.

Always.
