 WELCOME TO THE NEW FEARLESS GUILD!
This is the Newbie's Guide To The New Fearless Guild! So you came across our guild and decided to join up? You might notice that this is a large guild with many members and many activities and freebies. You may be wondering what to do first or where to go...or even wondering about what you are doing in a guild with all these crazy people?!! Just sit back and relax. There is no need to feel overwhelmed with it all because that is what this guide is here for. I will take you step by step through the workings of The New Fearless. You will be a guild oldie in no time.XD Step By Step Guide Step 1: Read The Rules The very first thing you should do is to read the Rules page. Not following the rules can get you warned, suspended, or even banned from the guild depending upon the offense. Reading the rules will give you a better understanding of what will upset us. We do have a wall of shame if the rules are broken, but we've never really had to use it since we are all super friendly. Step 2: Enable Guild Mailings In order to receive any of the mass mailings that come from the guild, you will have to enable your guild mailings. Under 'My Account' go to Preference. The third checkbox down needs to be checked. You will see it say 'Enable Guild Mailings'. The mass mailings are used to let members know any important events happening both as a guild and on Neopets as a whole. Mailings are sent out when avatars that are only available on certain days come around, if something major is going on in the guild such as open council positions, etc. If you do not enable the mailings, then you will not recieve any of the guild mailings. Step 3: Accept Newbie Gift Once you join The New Fearless you will recieve you newbie gift within 48 hours unless something happens to prevent xdung_fairyx from being online_ If that is the case then she will get to it as soon as she is able to. The gift will be sent from thenewfearless account, which is the offical guild account that is owned by xdung_fairyx. If you leave the guild before the gift is sent out, then you will not recieve the gift at all. Please be patient and not send multiple neomails demanding your gifts to thenewfearless. Doing this may result in you losing your membership in the guild. Step 4: Accept Neofriend Request Thenewfearless will send you a neofriend request when she sends out your newbie gift. Please accept this so it will be it easier for your gifts to be sent to you and to enable you to take part in the 1np auctions. If you leave the guild, then you will be removed as a neofriend. Step 5: Learn The Navigation Banner It would be a good idea to learn your way around the guild pages by using the navigation banner. This banner is displayed on all of the guild pages. The navigation banner is show below. As you can see there are many pages of things that The New Fearless has to offer. We have everything from an adoption agency to avatar pages to lots of fun activities. Read below to learn more about each of these links. The New Fearless This takes you back to the guild's home page where you are able to see the most recent guild news. It would be good to check this page so that I can see what activities have began and ended, what the most recent news that has occured on Neopets, and even links to some extremely helpful guides and other petpages created and maintained by other guild members. Activities This is where the current guild activities, giveaways, and neofriend auctions are listed. Be sure to check this page out so you can see what is going on in the guild. You can also see what things will be coming up soon so that you don't miss out on it all. Activities include quizzes to answer, creative drawings to make, and much much more. With most of the activities you will neomail thenewfearless to take part in them. There are some exceptions to this such as when another guild member is running a preapproved guild activity. Read the activity description to see who you should neomail. Neomailing the wrong account may prevent you from getting credit for doing the activity. Banners This is where you can get banners of all types to advertise The New Fearless on your lookup, petpage, or anywhere else you'd like to advertise the guild. No matter what type of theme you are looking for, you can most likely find something here to go with it. If you do not see any that you like, please neomail xDung_Fairyx with exactly what you want (themes, colors, etc) and she will make one for you. Dream Pets This is similar to the wishing well, but instead of listing what items you'd like you list the pets you want. Neomail turkishdelightyo to have your max of 4 pets added to the list. Maybe some time in the future someone may haveone of your dream pets for adoption and can contact you about him or her. If you have a pet that you are considering placing for adoption, check here first to see if you might be able to help someone's dream come true. :) Petpet Adoption This is the page to check out if you would like to adopt your very own petpet for one of your current pets. Please visit the page to learn more about the petpet adopt procedure. Fearless Shop This is the official guilds shop. If you would like to donate neopoints to the guild, this is where you do it. All you need to do is buy anything over 1,000np so that it shows up in the Sales History. These items usually reflect the current guild theme. In between each theme there will be a massive sale. So keep an eye for The New Fearless bargains. All of the np donations are recorded on the donation page. Adoptions This is the guild's very own adoption agency. If you have any pets that you would like to adopt out, then you can list the pet here and maybe help fulfill someone's dream pet. This is also a good place to check out if you are thinking of adopting a new pet. Cafe This is the guild's cafe. Each theme there is a new list of 5 different food and/or drinks from Neopia. You can choose 2 of the 5 items offered each month. The menu choices reflect on the current monthly theme of The New Fearless. You will need to neomail thenewfearless with your order. Fearless High Yes, we have our very own school. Fearless High School is home to several teachers with a variety of lessons and tests. Do you have what it takes to pass the tests? Referrals Have you referred a member to the guild? If so, get them to neomail TheNewFaerless so that you can get the credit for the referral. This is another great way to get some guild freebies. Rules This page is a must read. It will save everyone time if you just take a few minutes to read the rules and spam policy. This will prevent those of us on the boards to have to point out to you that you are doing something against the rules. Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse for breaking them and it can still result in a warning, suspension, or even a permannent ban from the guild. Avatars This page shows all the new, old, and retired avatars. It is kept up to date with all the latest avatars. If you know of an avatar that isn't listed on the page please let one of the council members know. Newspaper The Fearless Noize is our offical guild newspaper. Each month you can read about Neopets' new, guild news, spotlights, articles, poems, neofood, good vibes, and much, much more. Everything included in the newspaper is contributions from fellow guildmates. Any guild member may contribute to it. Neomail 88Flux_Capacitor88. Mall This page is the place that all of the Fearless members' shops and galleries are listed. Feel free to browse the galleries and shops. If you would like your shop or gallery listed there neomail nicole20060. Please include what images you'd like next to your name and what your shop and/or gallery is about. Riddles The name says it all. This is The New Fearless' riddles page. If you have a riddle for us or are good at solving riddles, then this is the page for you. Neomail xdung_fairyx. Backgrounds This is the page to check out if you are needing a background for your lookup, shop, gallery, or anything else. You can find just about anything here. Donations This page is where all the Fearless member donations are listed. If you have donated something via neofriend, trade, or shop purchases it will be recorded here. If you donate something, neomail thenewfearless and let her know what items you would like next to your name. We thank everyone so much for all of the wonderful donations. We are super grateful. M/POTM This is our Member Of The Month and Pet Of The Month page. Check it out for details on how to increase your chances of being the next MOTM or POTM. Screenies This is where xDung_Fairyx shows her screenies. We all love screenies, right??!! It is also a vain attempt to try to get you all to sign up for neopets premium. ;) Wishing Well This is where we keep track of everyone's wishes. You can neomail xDung_Fairyx a list of up to 10 items to add to the page for your wishes. Maybe one day your wishes will come true. This is a communal wishlist. We make some wishes come true if they are a reasonably priced. Sometimes members come along and will grant a few random wishes of their own. No donations or bribes are accepted in order to make your wishes come true. They are kind of like random events, you never know when they'll happen. Step 6: Introduce Yourself Head on over to the guild message board and introduce yourself. Do keep in mind about the spam policy and make sure your post isn't considered spam. Step 7: Have Fun This is the reason for joining up in the first place. Have fun, meet new people, get advice, and anything else you can think of.
