step no. one:: your shop

Shops are very useful.
It's hardly possible to have an account without picking up a few expensive - or at least semi-expensive - items somewhere in your neo-life. Go to your SDB and dig out anything that you don't need and looks expensive!
Upgrade your shop, if it isn't large enough already. Yes, this will cost neopoints, and I suggest upgrading it bit by bit, slowly.
If you don't believe this will help, let me tell you: it will. I've earned a lot from my shop -pats shop till fondly- XD Every time you get new items you don't particularly want, just put them in your shop! All you have to do afterwards is check your shop till! ;)

REMEMBER: When pricing your items, use the Shop Wizard - or the Super Shop Wizard if you have it - and after refreshing a couple times, it's best to have all your items priced lowest on the shop wizard. Most people just click on the first on the shop wizard, after refreshing a few times. (Hey, it's what I do! x3)

step no. two:: dailies

Dailies are all over Neopia.
In Neopia there are several places where you can get free Neopoints/items - sometimes for free, sometimes for a few Neopoints - but they are all random! You could win big! I strongly suggest doing these everyday, or whenever you can.

Avatar Alert! You can get an avatar if you win a prize from the Geraptiku Tomb, but it is random! And by that I mean, winning a prize is random, and the avatar is even more random, meaning: RANDOM when finding an item/the treasure (which is RANDOM) at the Tomb of Geraptiku. (Pfft... "Random" doesn't look like a word anymore @_@)
Note: Once you get to Jelly World by clicking on the jelly, you have to click on the Giant Jelly to receive your daily jelly.
WARNING: Your active pet may lose hit points at the Lost Tomb of Geraptiku!

Collect Interest ~·~ Symol Hole ~·~ Turmaculus
Avatar Alert! You can randomly get an avatar from the Symol Hole, and if the Turmaculus eats your petpet, you also get an avatar!
Notes and Warnings: Symol Hole - you have to have a Petpet, and your petpet MAY change species. Most of the time nothing will happen.
Turmaculus - you have to have a Petpet as well. If the Turmaculus is awake, and you wake him up, you may get neopoints/an item/stronger level/etc., but he may also eat your petpet!
And remember: For the Symol Hole/Turmaculus, you must have a named petpet attached to your active pet!

Wise Old King ~·~ Grumpy Old King ~·~ Shenkuu Lunar
Avatar Alert!The Wise Old King/Grumpy Old King /both/ can give you an avatar. If what you say to King Hagan gets an A+ you get an avatar!
If your joke gets King Skarl angry, you get an avatar! ALSO if your joke is like this:
Q: "What do you do if fierce Peophins has eaten too much tin of olives?"
A: Answer can be ANYTHING.
and if you make him laugh hysterically with that joke, you get another avatar! (Don't ask about that joke... I don't understand it either o.o XD)

Avatar Alert! If your pet's fishing level is 80 and up, and it catches a Titanic Giant Squid, you will receive an avatar!
Note:You can only collect your Altador plot prizes if you completed all of the Altador Quest!

Note: You can only use the Lab Ray if you've collected all 9 pieces of the Secret Laboratory Map, and you can only use the Petpet Lab Ray if you have the Lab Ray and have collected all 9 pieces of the Petpet Laboratory Map!
Warning! The Lab Ray can drastically alter your Pet in species, colour, gender, and stats! The Petpet Lab Ray can drastically alter your Petpet's species/colour/name/level - or even make it disappear! And you can only get something from the Snowager when it's asleep: 6-7 AM NST, 2-3 PM NST, and 10-11 PM NST. And even then your pets could lose hit points, or nothing could happen at all!

Illusen's Quests ~·~ Jhudora's Quests ~·~ Taelia's Quests
Avatar Alert! Illusen - if you complete 20 of Illusen's Quests, you will get an avatar! Also, if you complete one of her quests on March 17th (Illusens Day) you will get an avatar as well!
Jhudora - like Illusen, if you complete 20 of Jhudora's Quests you get an avatar! And if you complete one of her quests on February 4th (Jhudora's Day) you also get an avatar!
Note: If you do an Illusen's quest, you cannot do one of Jhudora's for 12 hours, and vice versa!
Warning: If you fail an Illusen's/Jhudora's quest, you will go back to quest one! So be careful!

Esophagor's Quest ~·~ Brain Tree Quests ~·~ Edna's Quests
Avatar Alert! You may get an avatar if you complete one of Edna's quests - but this is random!
Note: In order to complete a Brain Tree quest, you must complete two Esophagor's quests! In each one he'll tell you half of the answer. Remember, two!

Neopets have a lot of sponsor ads. Click the links down under this bunch of text *points* and wave your mouse over the ad until a red link proclaiming "NP" shows up. Click it, and voila! Free neopoints!
Note: If afterwards you still have the same amount of Neopoints, relax. These work. You have to wait a few hours before the Neopoints are added to your account.
