Hi, I'm Elithia! Obviously, I'm applying for the beautifully elegant Alualane. This application has been divided into three parts: the story, the application, and Lua.
The story part is somewhat an introduction, but mostly it's the first part of the great tale of Lua. Her story intertwines with those of my other pets in the imaginary world invented for them. I decided to put it at the front, because that's what this application is really about; Lua.
The application (this page) is where I will describe myself, my plans for Lua, and everything else that is relative, but not to Lua's character.
The "Lua" section is all about Lua's character. There is art there, her custom design, and another more... interestingly formated story. It is the finale of the application, leaving the reader's mind whirling with thoughts of Lua and her awesomeness.
I hope you enjoy the remainder of this application, and see the potential for Lua's life with me as I have seen it!

About Me
|
As I said, my name is Elithia :) I have been playing neopets for a while now, and I have five accounts: Carolswany (main), Llilalia, Xweetox_Rocks, Rubyrama, and Samanthavla. I have many adorable pets, most of whom are permanent. I traded for many of my current pets, but mostly only customs and pets gotten from those customs.
On Neopets, I mainly write my awesome story plot, participate in guilds, and save money to paint my pets. I sometimes enter the Beauty Contest as well. I like helping people, and often try to help them achieve their dream pets, as long as they're within my capability. I mostly try and zap pets for them.
Outside of neopets, I am in high school, and I play the Viola (an instrument like the Violin, but better). I am a pretty serious player, and I love it :) I also am in a lot of very high level classes, so I do have a fair amount of homework. However, I do usually have time to pop into neopets every day, if only to check on my pets and do all of the dailies.

Why Lua?

Ever since I they first came our with the Maraquan color of Draiks, I fell in love with them. I had always had a liking for dragons, but these serpentine creatures of the sea attracted me as no other pet did. I oggled over their beauty, and dreamed of one day getting my own. I even drew these beautiful pets, they wowed me so.
I knew I had to have one. Being young and foolish, I spent much time refreshing at "Create a Pet" in the hope that some time I might be able to catch those elusive Draiks. However, it was not meant to be; Draiks were never released in that fashion.
I saved and saved my money, dreaming futily of the day that I might have enough to buy my very own Draik egg, and then a maraquan paint brush with which I could paint her. But alas, I was (and still am) a very slow saver, therefore I could never create a Maraquan Draik of my own.
I started applying for pets when I was very young. I was never able to master this elusive art, though, and all of my applications were... terrible. I soon gave up, and then I found a new way of achieving my dream pets: pet trading. I got distracted by this, and pushed my dreams of a Maraquan Draik to the back of my mind, realizing that I would never be able to trade for one or to save up enough money.
Then I found Alualane. This beautiful, majestic, amazing sea-dragon dancing before my eyes, smiling at me, just asking for me to apply for her, and take her home. I had recently started applying for a few pets, but I never made an application amazing enough to be chosen for any of them, with the exeption of my purple Scorchio. I knew that I had to apply for Lua, but I also knew that the competition would be fierce. I remembered the phenomenal applications that I had seen for rare pets such as her, and for a while I was scared away.
But, I could not stay away. I kept glancing back at this brillaint pet, until finally, I realized that there was nothing I could do but apply.

Plans for Lua
|
Lua would be placed on one of my extensions, either Rubyrama or Samanthavla. Later, she might be moved to Llilalia, though.
I would give Lua a cool-looking look-up, though the graphics would be pre-made because of my ineptitude at coding. Also, she would have a pet page with her character and a layout similar to this one. Her stories and art would be placed on this page.

As well as being written about, Lua would be entered into the Beauty Contest. She would deveop as many trophies as I could give him. Also, I would give her her very own Maraquan Albat! The petpet and paint brush can be viewed in my trades.
Lua would never, ever be traded or abandoned in any way. Why wouldn't I trade her? ...what would I trade her for? What pet could I POSSIBLY want more than Lua? It's just beyond me why anyone would even CONSIDER trading away such an amazing pet. No pet could possibly compare.

Who do you think you are to apply for Lua?
I am but a humble neopian, awed by the majesty of a Maraquan Draik.
What makes you worthy of such a great pet?
Can one really be worthy of hrt? I guess all of the flashy people, parading around their unconverted Draiks and Krawks, along with their infinite money and rare assets could be considered grand enough, but I am not them. I am not flashy, nor grand, nor opulent. I admit to that. But I would love Lua beyond the capability of all of those people, because I truly know how wonderful she is.
Are you really as humble and poor as you make yourself out to be?
Fine, no, I do have four rare unconverted pets, but they're not that rare, but I really do have almost no money. I don't own any Draiks, Krawks, or unconverted plushies or royals.
And isn't it true that you have been known to show off said unconverted pets?
...I guess it could be interpreted as that... But really I'm just so proud of them and love them so much that I can't help but comment on them on an occasion.
You seem to favor your unconverted pets more than your others, am I correct?
No, not at all! LeiLei is my pride and joy! I morphed her myself with a Magical Golden Chomby Plushie. Also Moon is more precious to me than any unconverted pet, becuase Jelly Chombies were my absolute dream pets. My UC's were just all dream pets, and I was SO lucky to get them.
Is it or is it not true that you have traded pets before?
Yes, I have traded pets.
And why is this? Do you not know that pets are precious?
Well, I wasn't giving them a good home... I've always been looking for my dream pets, as well as other beauties that I come across. I make a lot of customs, which is how I got all of my UC's, as well as some of my other painted pets.
Wait, you just said you were poor! How did you get the money for the customs? :/

Why should you get Lua rather than anyone else?
I have no other means of getting a pet like Lua. Sure, I could apply for some random unconverted plushie pet, but I want a Maraquan Draik. Also, I am a very nice person. I have been spending a while now trying to get people their dream pets. Don't I deserve my dream pet too?
Everyone says they try to help people. What have you done?
Well, I've found lots of pets in the pound that I them find people who want them, and adopt them off. Also, I zap pets to try to give them to other people. I have been in a few dream pet zapping guilds before, but they've all ended up frustrating me.
Does it really make you nice to say that you're nice?
I don't see how it matters... Sure it's a little conceited, but who says I'm not :) Anyways, I give away pets to help people, not to talk about it afterwards. Otherwise, it wouldn't be worth it.

What makes you the better owner for Lua than all of the other nice people applying?
I won't let her sit and rot on an account. I plan on including her in an awesome plot, antering her in the BC, and doing all sorts of things. I don't plan on quitting anytime soon, so she'll have a home for years to come. I don't just want Lua because she's rare. I want her because she's a beautiful draconic sea serpent, and I've loved Maraquan Draiks more than any other pet since the moment they existed.
Isn't it true that you're a teenager?
Yes...
Doesn't that make you dumb? Flippent? Illiterate? Uncommited? Generally unworthy?
Who said that? I'll rip them to pieces with my bare hands... Anyways, I'm smarter than most adults, plus I'm not exactly a cliche teenage girl, so I don't think it matters at all. Some adult players just think they're better than everyone else.
Why are you so touchy about people complaining about your age?
Because it's irritating. I don't like being looked down upon. I'M A YOUNGER SIBLING FOR PETE'S SAKE! I'm allowed to dislike being judged by my age :)
In conclusion, why did you bother writing this application, when you know you have such little chance of getting Lua?
Because I couldn't pass up this slightest opportunity at getting my dream pet. I knew that the opportunity would not come back any time soon, and that if I didn't apply, I would be giving up my only chance at getting a Maraquan Draik.

Meet the Family

Now this section might be a bit longer than some people's but I have a lot of pets that need to be included :)
LeiLei: LeiLei was my first painted pet. Ever. I morphed her myself, and she will forever hold a special place in my heart.
LeiLei is a hyperactive, sweet little Chomby. She loves to play and have fun. She often talks way too fast and never calms down, but no one who meets her can end up not liking her.
In Alconot, LeiLei provided the funding for the whole operation. She is the official recruiter for Alconot, and she also interogates criminals, and suspects.
Moon: I've always loved Jelly Chombies, every since I discovered my favorite game, Jelly Blobs of Doom. Moon was my first ever dream pet that I achieved, and by far my favorite color/species combination.
Moon is very righteous, and a good leader. He's often fairly reserved, though. He used to be free and joyous, but ever since the accident that destroyed his lover, Karicita's, mind, he has drawn deep within himself, hiding from the pain.
Moon is the leader of Alconot. He claims to be co-leaders with Belalia, but she prefers to have him mostly in control. Everyone looks up to Moon, and no one questions his leadership.
James: James was one of my early pets. He started out as a Tonu (hence the name), then later was zapped into a Faerie Chomby. I'm not quite as attached to him, and were I to get Kalan, I would transfer him to one of my sides so that Kalan could live on my main.
James is a rebel. A classic, cliche bad guy. He does what he wants, and gets what he wants. He doesn't care about what anyone else thinks.
James is the biggest villain of Faroloth, the number one enemy of Alconot. He kidnapped Princess Elemere; a fact that is known only to Princess Laila and her admirer. He is holding her just for the sake of messing with the kingdom, though he may eventually ask for a ransom.
Belalia: I made Belalia as the first neopet of my account Llilalia. I intended to keep her with the purpose of painting her royal, but now I fell in love with her name and her character, so I would never give her up. She will be painted the moment I get the money.
Bubbi: I obsessed and obsessed over unconverted Darigan JubJubs for so long, trying to obtain one of those amazing, rare neopets. Finally, I was able to get Bubbi through trading a custom, and he is my second favorite pet (appearance-wise).

Spike: If you can't tell already, I love Chombies. Ever since I started neopets, even before I got my first Chomby and started liking them, I admired the Maraquan Chombies. My only real-life plushie that I ever got (this was when I was very young) was even a Maraquan Chomby. Just like with Bubbi, I obsessed over getting an unconverted one (the converteds are hideous), and was finally able to achieve my dream.

Remoned: I applied for Remoned a long time ago with the intention of atempting to zap him MSP. I basically forgot about that intention, then when I remembered I decided against it, because I grew too attached to his Poogleness to zap him (and yes I did write that intention in my application).
Remoned is a bit of a nerd. He likes computers and technology, and spends much of his time playing around with his circuitry. He is not in any way cliche; some who talk to him even consider him to be cool.
In Alconot, Remoned is the head of technology. He runs all of the databases and security systems, and designed most of the technology used in the Alconot headquarters. Also, he and his team invented all of the gadgets used by the Alconot personel.
Karicita: Again, one of my lovely unconverted pets about which I obsessed then finally was able to achieve. She was my first permanent unconverted pet.
Karicita used to be Moon's girlfriend. They were completely in love. She was perfect for him; smart, kind, and strong-willed. Then one day, she and Moon were driving in the car, and they got into a terrible accident. Moon was relatively unscathed, but Karicita had hit her head against the car, destroying her memory and much of the rest of her brain. She was still alive and unvegitive, but she would never again know who she was, and is not able to compute anything beyond her basic senses. Moon was heartbroken, and his current resigned depression is mostly due to Karicita.
Emilliati: I love chokatos, mostly due to the fact that my avatar for a while was the chokato one, until I obtained a cool game avatar. Because of this, I wanted a Chokato Chia very much, and in the end, I got Emilliati.

Laila: Laila is a beautiful unconverted faerie pet, and I love her very much. I obtained her through trading like the rest of my unconverteds, though she was not originally a dream pet of mine. However, I still love her just as much as the rest of my pets.
Laila is very conceited and self-absorbed. She doesn't often think about others, and believes herself to be the prettiest girl in the world. She is very sly and cunning, though, and is very able to get what she wants.
As the princess, Laila is very highly revered in Farloth. She has even had a few marriage propsals from stuffy aristocrats around the kingdom, all of which she duly rejected. Her sister, Princess Elemere, was kidnapped by the evil James, and she along with her admirier enlisted the help of Kalan to save Elemere.
Puffy: The cute little cloud-puffs of JubJubs entranced me so, that I had to get one. Eventually, someone was abondoning their poor little Cloud JubJub, and I had to go save her. This was Puffy, and I will forever cherish her cuteness.

Elemere: As I was surfing the pound boards one day, no doubt looking for an unconverted Darigan JubJub, I saw someone posting that they had a pet named Elemere up for adoption. Instantly, I fell in love with her beautiful name, and I had to apply. As the only person who wanted her, her owner transfered her to me as soon as my transfer was open, and she became a central part of my story.
Elemere is very strong-willed. When she sets herself to to do something, she always does it. However, she is very rash, and rarely thinks things through. Because of this, she often gets into trouble.
Princess Elemere was captured by the evil villain James, and now her sister, Laila, Laila's admirer, and Kalan are trying everything they can to save her. Alconot is not able to do anything, because they do not yet know that it was James who captured her.
Nephelii: Nephelii's name is Greek for "cloud". I thought it was so pretty that I traded a custom for her, and now I am zapping her. She is still a permanent pet though, and I'm hoping she'll turn into a pet beautiful enough to match her name.

Snow: Again, I love Chombies, so when I saw Snow, I impulsively decided to trade for her. I love ice pets, so an Ice Chomby would obviously appeal to me. She has such a cool-looking composure, that she is also one of my favorite pets (appearence-wise).
Snow is coneited, and flaky, yet also sly. She's sleek and quick, and perfect for field missions. Yet she always insists upon looking as pretty as possible, and is often late because she was obsessing about her make-up. She can be clingy and needy, but also suprsingly self-sufficient.
Snow is James's side-kick. She has always had a huge crush on James, therefore will od anything he wants. James doesn't return the affection (he sometimes says that Snow's infatuation akes him sick), but Snow is not willing to give up. She knows she appeals to James; she just has to get through his evility.
