All of this explanations are based on my premade lookups because I don't know how others do theirs or set them up and giving explanations for all would be completely impossible but I will try and keep this as general as possible.
Also all of these screenies, Im getting the avvies from avvy's petpage which you can find here

Ok well in most lookups you will see something like this:

The part you need to change is underlined and in blue :) Now onto getting the url to replace that with :)

Ok to start put your mouse on the avatar
image you desire and right click and you should see whats on the left Go down the bottom and click properties which will send you to this screen |

You want to highlight the part known as Address(URL) which is shown with white text and highlighted to the left and copy it.
Voila! You now have the avatar url! |
Now that you have the url copied you just need to paste it in the code in the part underlined and in blue
TA-DA! Done =) Congrats, you just added the avvie :)
