Hi, and welcome to my adoption application for Starslin, the terrifyingly wonderful zombie peophin! I adopted Starslin a while ago but thought I would keep this application so I could refer to it.

Before I do anything else I have to let you know that Starsin is my dream pet! I was so excited when I saw that he was up for adoption. I LOVE zombies and I love peophins so it's going to be a match made in heaven. In fact, I began drawing art and writing poetry almost the instant I saw him!

Secondly, I saw on Starslin's lookup that you have the labray scientist as a battledome challanger and are able to change his gender to female - if I am chosen as his new owner I would love for him to be female. Starslin sounds like a very feminine name to me...plus as a lady she would fit into my current neopets story ^^ So, I shall be refering to Starslin as a 'she' in this application.

All About Lena (Me!)

Well, my name is Lena and I'm a High School teacher from Australia. I absoloutely love movies, especially horror movies, and I have a special interest in zombie movies! My hobbies are fairly obscure - I collect crystals and rocks, read tarot cards, watch lots of movies, write stories and poems...and of course I play neopets!

I LOVE neopets! As you can see from my main account I have been playing Neopets now for about 7 years - no small feat in my opinion! I have NEVER been frozen or even warned and I plan to keep it that way! My pets are far too precious for me to risk losing them!

In the real world I volunteer at the local RSPCA, however I can't volunteer as much as I used to now because my teaching job takes up most of my life. I have one pet cat called Khan who is an ex-stray that we nursed back to health after he was hit by a car. He is a loving an beautiful cat and opening my home to him was the best thing I ever did!

Starslin's Future...?

*Claps hands* Well, for Starslin I have a VERY nice and pampered future in store! I plan to enter her in the beauty competition, the pet spotlight and the customisation spotlight...oh yes...I have plans...so very many plans!

If Starslin came to live with me I would give her a petpet fitting for her personality...a Ghost Arkmite! After all, a living dead peophin needs a living dead petpet, and what better then a ghost? Plus I have the greatest story worked out for how Starslin gets her little ghostly follower ^^

I would be customising Starslin with items from the NC Mall...I havent bought any of this yes, but I certainly will if I am chosen as her new mum! These are the items I will be buying for Starslin if I am chosen:

Starslin's Past

How Starslin Became A Zombie...

Starslin was not always an undead Peophin, oh no, infact she was once one of the most beautiful Peophins in the whole Neopian ocean! Of course, just being a beautiful Peophin isn't enough to keep you out of trouble...

It was while Starslin was frolicking in the waves near the shore that she caught sight of a very strange thing - a Halloween Kougra, A Faerie Ixi and the Dark Faerie herself, all standing near the waves speaking quietly. Being too far away to actually hear what they were saying, Starslin swam a little closer to the shore.

Well...if you're willing to pay the price I'm willing to so what you ask." The Dark Faerie, Jhudora, smiled icily down at the Halloween Kougra. "As long as you understand that once you become a true follower of mine, there is no going back."

I understand, Jhudora." The Kougra smiled nastily and looked sneakily at the Faerie Ixi who was looking a little frightened by the crackiling faerie.

And you, pretty one? Do you understand the cost?" Jhudora bent down and looked at the Ixi closely, "Do you understand what it is to become a follower of the dark?"

I understand there is no going back." The Ixi whispered quietly, her eyes widening as Jhudora cackled wildly.

The dark faerie began to wave her arms slowly through the air in front of her, the space quickly turning shades of purple and green as though the very air itself was being coloured by her magic. Starslin began to feel panic tighten her chest - her mother and father had told her warnings about the dark faerie and the horrible things that happened to those that crossed her path. She began to turn to swim back out to sea and away from the terrible event happening in front of her when suddenly the Halloween Kougra lunged at Jhudora and attempted to pull of the magical talisman she was wearing.

Daemon, no!" The Ixi tried to stop the Kougra by jumping in the way, but all it did was propel the poor little Ixi into the dark faerie too.

In an instant they were all tangled on the sand and writhing around in a pile as the Kougra attempted to steal the Dark Faerie's talisman, the Ixi tried to pull him away and the Dark Faerie tried to keep her necklace firmly around her neck.

Aaaaargh!" Their was a blinding flash of light and the two Neopets were flung violently away from Jhudora who climbed to her feet panting, magic flaring her aura bright purple. "The nerve! THE NERVE!" She hissed and raised her arms threateningly. "You shall both pay for this insult!"

The Ixi cowered back in fear, "Please Jhudora, I tried to stop him..."

Lies!" The faerie sent a jolt of lightening flying towards the pretty little Ixi and in a flash of green light the Faerie Ixi was transformed into a drippy, disgusting Snot Ixi. Jhudora then turned to the Kougra and raised her arm again. "And you! You shall become what you hate..." She sent a flash of magenta light at the Kougra and when the magical light cleared the scary Halloween Kougra had been replaced by a hoppy, floppy Rainbow Cybunny.

The Dak Faerie began to turn towards the ocean and Starslin held her breath and tried to sink lower into the water...but it was too late. The angry Dark Faerie caught sight of her and launched herself into the air - fluttering out over the ocean until she hovered over the pretty little Peophin.

Spying are we?"

Nnn...nnn...no...I was j...j..just..." Starslin almost whimpered in fear as Judora smiled.

You were just leaving? I don't think so." She giggled nastily and flipped her purple hair over one shoulder. "I don't know who you are little Peophin, but I have a job for you. Since you like to sneak about and spy...you can do that forever"

Jhudora sent a dark wave of magic at her and Starslin and in a gut-wrenching moment Starslin felt her body die and then come back to life in an instant. She screamed fearfully and thrashed about in the water as her body convulsed.

What have you done to me?" She panted as the pain subsided.

I've given you a great gift, I've given you eternal life...as a zombie" The Dark Faerie grinned. "You're going to watch these two pathetic fools and you're going to report back to me if you ever see any sign of them trying to gather power. Their names are Daemon_Pyro and Countess_Daemon. If you don't...then I'll return, and I'll make sure you regret not helping me."

With a final parting cackle the dark faerie vanished and Starslin was left floating sadly in the ocean, her once beautiful eyes staring dully towards the shore where she watched the Cybunny and Ixi bicker and snipe at one another. She did't even know them...but she was going to have to follow them for the rest of their lives.

Well...I went a little mad with drawing Starslin, but she is soooo wonderful! I've drawn a few pictures of her, one of which was drawn in oil pastels because I was feeling very inspired! I hope you like them!

Starslin's Family

If Starslin came to live with me she would be living on my side account Annoying_Customer. I would host Starslin on my main account, but all of my accounts, aside from Annoying_Customer, are all lab accounts on which I foster pets. I guess I don't really see Annoying_Customer as a side account because I love the neopets there just as much as I love all my others. It's important that you know that just because Starslin would be on a side account it doesn't mean that I am going to leave her there and simply gloat over having a "rare coloured pet". I'm not that kind of person!

On Annoying_Customer
, Starslin would be living with two permanent pets: Kashaerel and Ramses_Alford. I have had both of these pets for quite a while and they both mean a lot to me - Ramses because I created him after my cat passed away suddenly and Kashaerel because she also one of my dream pets and her personality in my stories is so cute and bouncy!

I have asked them both to say a little something...

They're good pets and I think Starslin would fit right in with them!

Why Starslin?

I know EVERYBODY says this but I fell in love with Starslin the moment I saw her!

Her colour is beautiful and her name is so perfect! I'm already so attached and thats just from making an application for her!

I have all these stories in my head that I want to write with Starslin...how she got her petpet (Eo will be her petpets name I have already decided!), how she came to live with Kashaerel and Ramses...and of course more stories about her spy job for the Dark Faerie!

As I have already mentioned a Zombie Peophin is my dream pet, but Starslin is the first Zombie Peophin I have applied for because she just seemed so perfect for me. Her personality is just so THERE in front of me! Every time I look at her lookup or draw another picture of her she is becoming more of a part of my neopets world.

Why am I the PERFECT Owner?

Well...I'm a Neopets NUT! I'm on Neopets for 2-3 hours a day at least and I'm very dedicated to maintaining the welfare of my pets, not just my permenant pets but my fosters as well!

I have never been frozen and I have never been warned. I'm very careful not to break any Neopets rules and I will make very sure that I never do. I have had my main account for YEARS and my pets are very important to me. I have made them into beautiful dream pets that I would never risk having taken away from me. Taylor_Lion won a pet spotlight a few months back and that was a major high for me! I was so proud of her!

I'm very active on Neopets. I play TONS of games (although I'm not that good at many of them!) and I have recently begun entering my pets into the customisation spotlight and submitting stories and articles for the Neopian Times.

If Starslin came to live with me she would be pampered! Petpets are a BIG addiction of mine! I have a petpet gallery on my main account and I always make sure that my pets have petpets, and Starslin is going to get a lovely ghost painted Arkmite! She will also get her own petpage and a HUGE closet of clothes and toys!

I'm currently working on making petpages for my permies but at the moment I don't have any up because they're not done...and I'm a bit funny about putting things up on the net when they're half finished...plus I want to make more art to decorate them with!

Hmmm, I have only adopted one other pet and that was Nyukii my beautiful fire chomby who I adopted from another TNO member! Nyukii is my 'Big Sister' on my adoption account and looks after all the little fosters. I see Starslin a bit differently - she is going to be a big part of my current story plot, rather then a babysitter...if I'm chosen of course!

In all honesty I think I'm a great Neopets mum! Starslin would't sit on my side account and rot - she would be important to me and treasured. Not because she is zombie coloured...but because I already feel like she is a part of my family. .
