What is ZAP!?
This adoption agency is dedicated to zapping pets both from the pound, and on request, and putting them up for adoption. We do not reserve pets, however. If more than one applicant wants a scorchio, then neither applicant will have any sort of default 'priority' based on when they requested one, or who likes it better.
Additionally, if we, the proprietors of the program, feel that we have zapped a pet to a desirable color or feel as though zapping any more would hinder the program, we have the right to put a pet up for adoption as-is.
How to use this agency
Here's what you will see when you look at a pet, and what you need to know when you're thinking about applying (:
- Name: Xxxxx_xxxx
- Target(s): Darigan, Desert
- Requested: 2 applicants
- Zapping: stardust310
- Zap Frequency: Every other day
- Rank: AAAA, TTTTT
- A picture of the pet's current species and color. We try and keep these as up to date as possible.
- Depending on who is zapping, the actual name may not be posted.
- Target colors are defined when a user requests a color for a specific species that we are zapping. If there are no requests, there will be no target color unless the zapper chooses one.
- The number of people requesting this pet.
- The zapper/owner
- How often the pet is zapped (if one zapper is working on two or three pets, this can be less frequent). ***If this is an as-is adoption/trade, this section will list any avatars you can get with this pet.
- Ranks are determined by pet name, color, species, and popularity. When you apply, we assign you a score based on how qualified for our pets we feel your application expresses. In this case, you would need a minimum score of 4 points to be considered as a new owner for this pet. Similarly, if you wanted to trade one of your own pets for this one, it would need to have a score of 4 or better. The better a pet's score, the more points you will need for a trade-in. We encourage trades as well as adoptions.
Making a request
We have some fairly simple rules here regarding requests.
- You are not, as an applicant, guaranteed the exact color and species you request.
- You may request the type of name you want your pet to have, but we may not be able to accomodate these requests.
- You may not request to adopt a pet, just to turn around and put them UFT. Do this and you will be blacklisted from this and all affiliate adoption agencies.
- It is your responsibility, and nobody else's, to keep track of color, species, and gender changes of pets you are tracking.
- If you no longer wish to adopt that strawberry moehog you requested last month, please let us know!
- Please do not request the following pets, as they are in high demand. If one gets posted here, you may apply, however:
- Draiks
- Krawks
- Pea Chias
- Non-lab colors (Baby, Royal, etc.)
- UC pets
- If you want to change the target color of a pet that you request, please contact us right away.
Applications: Everything you need to know!
We do not accept petpage applications, due to the volatile nature of the lab ray. Your application is very simple, and should follow this easy form:
- Name/Nickname:
- Number of pets total:
- What pet do you want:
- What color(s) do you want to request:
- Where will the pet go (main, side, friend?):
- Do you have lab access?
- Do you want your pet to be male or female?
- Why do you want this pet?
- In the event of a species change, would you still want to apply for this pet?
