Personality

+ Self-Sufficient. Lyn has made her own successful life from basically nothing. She strongly believes that if you work hard, you can make a respectable name for yourself. Why should anyone depend on another creature to sustain life?
+ Quaint. Old-fashioned things seem to give her a spark of creativity. The dusty smell between outdated photo album pages make her feel right at home. There just seems to be a uniqueness in every item from the past.
+ Patient. Being a seamstress, you /have/ to be patient while you are sewing. When she was a young shoyru, Lyn was always impatient and created sloppy dresses. After her mother had a few strong discussions with her, she became patient real quickly.

- Gullible. The first thing she hears out of anyone's mouth is believed to be the absolute truth. When she was attending Neo-School, one of her friends said it was 'dress like a clown' (as a joke), and Lyn actually dressed up as a clown the next day. Even as she matured, she stayed that gullible little shoyru that everyone always pranked.
- Indecisive. If Lyn was out shopping for fabrics and was surrounded by rolls of cloth, she would have no clue where to start. Knowing Lyn, she would probably buy everything that looks suitable, but thankfully she has Nora (check the Future Plans Section). Nora always deals with the selection of fabric.
- Impractical. Honestly, she rarely ever thinks ahead which can really slow down her rate of production of clothes. Lyn will spend most of her time on the petty details when she should be focusing on the more crucial tasks.

Likes

+ Caffeine. Pure sugar + Lyn = CHAOS. Caffeine is the one thing that allows her to stay up many nights in a row. You can constantly see Lyn drinking a ton of soda/coffee during the weekdays because they seem to last forever in her opinion.
+ Sewing. Why on earth would a seamstress hate sewing? This is pointless explaining why Lyn enjoys sewing…and we are now moving on.
+ Traveling. Just the idea of traveling to different lands and experiencing the change in culture thrills Lyn. Experimenting with various types of foods is another joy she sees in traveling.

Dislikes

- Sleeping. Why sleep when you can be sewing? Honestly, sleeping just wastes time and therefore Lyn hardly ever sleeps during the night or day.
- Flying. Flying is honestly pointless! It takes up so much effort and often it takes Lyn ten times longer to fly to Faerieland (starting out in Terror Mountain) rather than to use her Faerie Cloud Racer.
- Honey. Seriously, Lyn has a burning hatred for honey. Honey is a sticky substance that just ruins everything that it touches!

History

Lyn was born the eldest in a family full of baby girl shoyrus (six of them to be exact, she never had any brothers). Her parents were fairly wealthy and depended mainly on luck. You see, her father had a gambling problem. Every Friday night, he would get together with some of his buddies and they would play Cheat and Poker, wagering his entire week's earnings. Nine times out of ten he would lose it all and the family would go hungry. However, when he won, let's just say that the entire family could bathe in gold.

With her father's unstable environment, Lyn was nearly forced to sew all of her sisters' clothing along with her own. She rarely attended Neo-School. She also ran errands for neighbors to try and feed the family when her own father could not. Life was tough when Lyn was growing up and it stayed tough until she left home. Eventually, she moved out of Faerieland and into Meridell where she could make a name for herself. Lyn heard that business was booming over there, so she packed her bag (full of various threads, needles, and fabrics), and flew over to Meridell. She's been living at Meridell for two and a half years now with a nice life. Being the only seamstress in town really raked in the big neopoints for Lyn.

Since Lyn left her home, many of her sister followed in her footsteps. The majority of her sisters went to Roo Island and that relieved her mother and father immensely. Coincidentally, her father began on a winning streak that would lead the family into being Faerieland's first hundred-millionaire. Ever since then, her father has been able to control his gangling issues and they remain one of the most wealthy families in Faerieland.

Well as I said earlier my name is Dizzy and I'm a (slightly quirky) 13 year old student with a passion for computers and writing. My friends see me as a muffin obsession freak. xD You see in the 6th grade, I made a powerpoint about "Marty the Muffin" and his journey to become a cupcake. My class (and teacher) fell in love with the project, so I became known as "The Muffin Girl." Last year I did a science fair project on muffins (won 1st place ;D) which gave me the name of "Muffin Psycho." As you can see, I am an odd child.

Enough about muffins! My family consists of my mom and dad along with my 9 year old sister and 11 year old brother. Both of my siblings play Neo as well haha. We have a labradoodle puppy named Lulu in addition to my other family members.

Volleyball, skiing, and snowboarding are my life. Every weekend in the winter, my family is up in the mountains either skiing or snowboarding. =) I wish winter could last forever! Volleyball I participate in year round and this year our school's team has a good chance of winning the Regionals. :D

Anyway, enough about my real life. I could go on for days telling you everything about myself but I think you'd be more interested in the next section . . .

I am honestly addicted to Neocash. If I had more money in real life I can promise you that I would buy every "cute" item in the NC Mall. Over the past year and a half, I have spent $220 on Neocash (keep in mind some people are in the thousands).

I enjoy lurking the PC and GC. :D The PC is such a nice bunch of people that I try to make friends (sometimes enemies) on some random boards…Speaking of friends, I love to chat so much!

Anyway, enough about me!

Another reason I am applying is (and I know this sounds really cliche…but it is true) because a UC Faerie Shoyru is my dream pet. I have been after a uc faerie shoyru for quite a long time, and along the way, I have added thirteen shoyrus to my family (you will meet them later). Why are they such an amazing neopet? Well mainly because of their looks:

Above this, you see a picture of a unconverted faerie shoyru next to a converted faerie shoyru. Automatically, you should be able to see the differences between both pets. The UC Faerie Shoy has large wings, a smile showing her teeth and tongue, and a body that only a shoyru fanatic can adore. The converted Faerie Shoyru has smaller wings, a more rounded tummy, and she is in a standing position. There are vast differences between the two pets. Obviously, if a random person was to choose the better looking shoyru, they would vote for the Unconverted Faerie Shoyru. What am I getting at exactly? UC Faerie Shoyrus are beautiful.

I love all 13 of my shoyrus dearly and Lyn would certainly not be an exception to that treatment. She would never be traded, given away, abandoned in any way; she is my final dream pet and not even an UC RG Shoyru (I don't like them haha) would compare to her.

I know I am not the best artist, /writer/, page designer on here (trust me, just look around) However, whenever I do try to accomplish something, it is done with 110% of effort. I am a natural perfectionist and believe that nothing less than my best is acceptable for Lyn, or any of my pets. I have always put my heart and soul into everything I do, and I highly doubt that will ever change about me, it is just the way I am.

In the end though it all depends on whether you think I would make a good home for Lyn…Personally I think I would make a fantastic home, but then I am a little biased on that subject. Dx

You have been invited a grand celebration in honor of Meredith Webb. The Madam herself has personally requested that you attend this magnificent ball. Please wear your best suits and gowns as this is a prestigious event. The date has been set on October 10th at precisely 7 PM and in Faerieland. Do not be late as this is a very important date!

You quickly gasp in awe, almost letting the invitation drop to the ground. The Webbs are throwing an extravagant celebration? This family is known to have the best parties, most of the residents of Faerieland agree! You scurry out to find a seamstress that can whip you up a dress for the event.

Chapter One.

Lightly holding onto her mother's birthday celebration invitation, Lyn gleefully reminded Bluz, "Remember, we have to go to Faerieland in precisely 37 minutes! It's my mother's birthday and I must not miss it!" She firmly held a sewing needle in her hand, trying hard to finish up the gown she was planning on wearing to her mother's grand birthday celebration. Lyn smiled as she saw Bluz innocently buzzing around her little shopfront in Roo Island. Holding the plum colored dress firmly against herself, Lyn let out a sigh of contentment.

Nervously, she glanced at the clock hanging on the wall. ''Fifteen minu...," she laughed before a crack of thunder interrupted her. Lyn flinched as she felt the vibrations through the floor. Surely the celebration would not be rained out? "No, I am certain the weather will not be too horrendous," Lyn thought to herself with an unsure smile. Yes, everything will just be perfect. Grabbing a small black purse, she tucked a couple of needles and threads (along with a pack of mint gum) into it. What would Lyn do if she needed to last minute hem something?

Swiftly, she ran to the back room and fit the dress perfectly onto her body. Her wings felt tingly, just as they always did when Lyn was anxious about something. The silk felt so smooth against her body and her wings happily twitched. Stretching out her wings reluctantly, Lyn called for Bluz. In a second, the faithful little creature popped up at her side. She questioned, "Do you think I should fly there or take the Faerie Racer?" Bluz squealed, signaling that she agreed with taking the Faerie Racer to the festival. "Faerie Racer it is," Lyn nodded.

However, that was the biggest mistake the both of them could make.

Chapter Two.

Lyn quickly closed up the shop as she flew quickly under the heavy raindrops. Just a few more steps until she was in the comfort of her Faerie Racer. As she slid into the racer, she noticed small amounts of puddles amounted at the bottom of the Racer, but that was not a big issue or anything. Lyn sat down comfortably before beginning to soar high up into the partially sunny clouds. She was perfectly dry for the time being and Bluz was resting right next to her, on the verge of falling asleep. Riding through the clouds was always a relaxing ride and the scenery was breathtaking.

The wind brushed against her skin, creating rippling goosebumps. A small drizzle began to set in all around Lyn and there was nothing she could do to stop it from happening. Almost instantly, the rain began to downpour and she felt her dress get soaked. "I must get to Faerieland," she thought to herself, grinding her teeth. Bluz let out a sharp cry almost foretelling the future. The rain began to get heavier and heavier, the thunder commenced into screaming, and the lightening to appear every few seconds. Soon enough there was almost a lake in the Faerie Racer.

Lyn held onto the steering wheel, almost driving her nails into the palms of her hands. Instantly, the Faerie Racer dropped a sharp fifteen feet and quickly stabilized before lightening directly hit the Racer. Her mind went blank as her Faerie Racer plummeted downward in a sharp 90º angle. Lyn felt her body slowly plunge out of the Racer as she frantically attempted to grab onto Bluz. Bluz was slowly cascading into the dark unknown, too far for Lyn grab him. She took a deep breath in as she prepared for the painful fall.

Next thing she knew, everything went black.

» Morphing / Painting / Gender I can find no reason that /anyone/ would paint, zap, morph, trade, or convert and honest dream pet. Only a psycho would do one of those things (and I can assure you I am perfectly sane). Maybe someone could accidentally zap the wrong pet? However, if Lyn comes home to me, I will not be using my lab ray ever again, so there is no possibility of her becoming the accident victim of the lab. » Pet Lookup All of my pets have pet lookups and Lyn would be no exception! Rio has been generous enough to allow us all to preview Lyn's future lookup over here. » Customization In this customization plan, Lyn is flying in her Faerie Racing Car towards Faerieland. Lyn has a background called "Faerie Cloud Racer Collectors Background" and a beautiful "Butterfly Shower" is descending onto Lyn. I fortunately already have both items, so if Lyn comes home with me, this would probably be her first "outfit." After that long journey of traveling throughout Neopia, she has landed in her quaint little shop. Lyn is in her workshop, sewing pieces of fabric together at the moment. The image in the back is called "Sewing Room Background" and there is a "Faerie Dust Shower" in the foreground (if you can see it). Honestly, this is my dream customization for Lyn. =) However, the Sewing Room Background is apparently worth a ton and it may take me awhile to get this exact customization. :( However, I am determined to get that background! Each outfit will be changed every few weeks (after I obtain the Sewing Room Background). » Petpet Nora Lyn is a very busy seamstress, moving from one land to the next. She hardly has any time to purchase more fabric. That is where Nora comes in. Nora has a /fantastic/ fashion sense that she can figure out exactly what fabric would look best with Lyn's designs. She hardly ever travels with Lyn. » Petpetpet Bluz Bluz is one of Lyn's closest friends that always travels with her to whatever land that she may go to. He is just a little bug that fits into one of Lyn's pockets and enjoys traveling. Mr. Bluz loves the darkness and the wind, so you will /never/ see him in the daytime. Nora and Bluz do /not/ get along together. » Beauty Contest I believe that every Neopian out there has an "inner-artist" inside of them. Therefore, no matter the level of skill, I consider myself to be an artist. *speaks with a French accent* All of my drawings are digital, as my hand is very shaky haha. With my artistic ability, I have entered the Beauty Contest five times. The first two times I won silver in the Korbat category, next round I placed 5th in same category. Recently, I entered in Eluriah (Ria my Royal Girl Shoyru) into the BC. First time in the BC, she place fourth! Next round she managed to place second. :D With that being said, Lyn will be entered into the Beauty Contest once every month or so. =) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- » Art back to top ^

This darling next to me is called Ria the Royal Girl shoyu and she adores stargazing! In her story (in progress), Ria and this pirate (Sonar) come face to face in very unusual terms. She must eventually give up her throne or let her true love be exiled to Terror Mountain. Ria entered my family because my very awesome NF convinced her NF to let me adopt Ria. Ever since she entered our shoyru kingdom, Ria has won one silver BC trophy and many more are to come. ;D This dashing young fella is Ria's overprotective twin brother named Rio. In Rio & Ria's duo story, Rio basically is trying his hardest to ship Ria's lover off to sea…Let's just say things get dirty. It has always been a goal of mine to own a royal duo and after I graciously welcomed Ria into my home, a group of my friends created (and painted) Rio. Ria and Rio are /inseparable/ and will always be staying together on my main account. Yarr! Hold onto your treasures very tight or else Sonar will come and steal them! This is the shoyru that is that is turning Rio and Ria's friendly quarrels into back-and-forth screaming arguments. Sonar is my prince charming who is also my battledome pet. I try to train him as best as I can, but the codestones and dubloons add up fast haha. xD I hope to get him to even 100's and eventually to defeat the Space Faerie. One of my most prized shoyrus is Aveu, the cursed ice statue. In a nutshell, Aveu becomes an ice sculpture (immune to melting) that is forbidden to leave the shores of Mystery Island. This little boy was an incredibly lucky lab zap. One day he turned island (already had three sets of island shoyru clothing on that account) and the next day Aveu mutated into the color ice! That is when my inspiration kicked in for him! The natural born adventurer in our shoyru family is Dri. Dri became an angel at a very young age and refused to give up her angel lifestyle (to have her spirit pass on). Now she is trying to "pass to the other side" but it is proving harder than she thought originally. Dri has one of the best customizations out of all of my shoyrus. =D I was just innocently browsing through the NC Mall when I came across her current background. In my mind something just "clicked." I believe I traded a Halloween Bruce for her. The most dreamy shoyru in my clan has to be Tax, simply because his customization makes you almost fall asleep. Tax is a baby shoyru that has these crazy dreams that can forecast what will happen the next day or two. This little boy has to be the shoyru with the most character potential and inspiration…Just think about it, the possibilities are nearly endless! Tax was found in the Pound and saved. Now this little fella is a tinker (one who likes to fix objects and give them a creative spin) who loves running around and playing with his best friend, Ika. Axi is a unique shoyru who gets very defensive and often talks to himself. Axi started out as a female white shoyru (lab zap) who was my favorite pet. One day, she was my active and the invisible random event hit her. -.- Of course white paint brushes cost too much NP, so I zapped her. First zap, she changed genders, and the next zap he turned pink. I decided to keep Axi, and I'm grateful that the RE did not hit any of my other pets. The sneaky spy seen above goes by many aliases, but Ika, is the most common. During the day when she is playing with her best buddy, Axi, she is a normal shoyru. When the sun finally sets for the day, Ika becomes the "Purple Hero" who saves her city from countless crimes. Of course the population of her city believes she is actually a guy, but that doesn't matter, as long as she can eliminate evil! Ika was stuck in the pound as a basic colored shoyru (blue if I remember correctly) and I was looking for a victim…I mean shoyru…willing to be zapped. After a month of stat changes, Ika finally turned Purple and became a permie! This delicious looking shoyru is named Nai and may never be eaten (sorry). She is under construction at the moment and will either have a disease (everything she touches changes to chocolate) or she will be a farmer haha. I'm still not a 100% sure. One morning I had a sudden urge to get onto Neo and I reluctantly did. First board I see on the PC (the place I check every morning) is "Pounding Choco Shoy!!!!" When I open the board, I see that I completely missed the time that the Shoy was pounded. Sadly I asked the new owner if Nai was UFT and they just asked if I wanted her (they already had another choco shoy). xD …And here we are. Last but not least is the adorable shoyru called Sail! She is a dorky and nerdy shoyru to many, and she snorts and makes herself laugh. She doesn't let anyone crush her spirits; however, she always enjoys a competitive game of water polo. I usually ignore all of those "Gifting" boards on the Pound Chat; however, this one board told everyone to post all of their dreamies. I reluctantly posted on the board with two pets…a uc fae shoyru…and a maraquan shoyru. Less than a minute later, someone mailed me asking if I wanted poor old Sail. : ) I accepted in a heartbeat.

Well that is all I have to say, I apologize (my fingers can't take any more! XD). I hope it was not too long for you to read through, I do tend to babble on for quite a while and I know you have loads of other applications to read. Who knows, I wouldn't have mind if you just skimmed through my application and account…just as long as you know that I will not get bored of Neo anytime soon and Lyn will be offered a permeant space on my account.
