Solunei was born on an island not to far from Mystery Island. In fact, all one had to do was take a short, ten minute boat ride if they wanted to get to Mystery Island. Or even swim over there if they fancied it. She was born to two happy, loving parents, who were quite surprised when they saw that she looked as if she just dropped out of a sunset. They thought it was some kind of sign that she would be something special later in life.

Solunei grew up on the island, under the bright shining sun. From where she and her parent's lived, the cave they lived in, Solunei had the perfect view of sunset, which she would watch every single day. There were other lupes around her age too around the island, but most of them weren't as interested as watching the colors fade into one another and then disappear under the horizon as she was. She, along with two other pups would always watch the sunsets together, as none of them ever got up early enough to see the sunrise. One of them was another female, just like her while the other one was a male. They were all the best of friends and seemed to form their own group outside of the main group of pups. Rather then just sit near the caves and eat all day, Sol and her other two best friends would go and explore the island, Sol usually following behind to make sure they were okay. Her two friends didn't mind that Sol hardly spoke, for when she did speak, it usually saved them from falling off a branch or running into a hive of bees. She was like their protector.

On her first birthday, when she was celebrating her first year of being alive, her two best friends gave her the jewelery she now wears. Her female best friend gave her the tail ring with the seven stones embedded in it, smiling slyly and not telling her where exactly she got it, while her male best friend gifted her with the leg bracelet that wound around her hind leg, also being as tightlipped as her female friend. Naturally, Sol was curious and so, acting against her normal docile personality for once, she persisted and nagged at her friends after her "party," which lasted until almost sunset, until they told her.

Finally, just as they were about to tell her, a loud rumbling was heard. All three of them could feel the ground beneath their paws vibrate, getting more shaky with each passing minute. Fear filled each of them as they have never experienced anything like this before. Raging storms and high tides, yes, but not this. Letting out whimpers of fear, they turned to look at each other and nodded, before heading towards the small rainforest that was on their island. As they ran, Sol looked up to see black clouds just suddenly appear out of nowhere and cover the sky. Thunder could be heard rumbling above while lightning crackled somewhere at a distance in the sea. Rain was pelting them relentlessly.

Looking back down, Sol saw that they were almost there. Almost at a cave that all three of them had called their "headquarters." Harsh gusts of wind were now blowing across the island, tearing up palm trees and bringing them into the now hurricane. Just as they were about two feet away from their destination, the hurricane got to them. It swept up Solunei and her friends, twirling them furiously about. A few seconds later, Sol and her friends found themselves near the eye, the center, of the hurricane. Grabbing each others' paws, as they somehow knew that this would be the last time they would see each other for the time being.

Promise...promise that you will never forget me? And that we will always be friends? No matter what?" Sol shouted through the roaring of the hurricane. Before her friends could answer, the hurricane spat all three of them out, rather violently too. The speed that Sol was thrown out was fast enough to make her black out.

When Sol awoken, she found that she was on...another beach? Apparently, the hurricane hadn't spat her that far, as she was now on the warm shores of Mystery Island. Pushing herself up sluggishly, Sol looked around, hoping with all her heart that her friends were somehow about. She searched, and searched, taking up about days upon days to explore the whole island from front to back, looking for them. Sadly, she did not see hide nor hair of them. About a month later, she was back on the shore shores of the beach, looking at the sunset. For the frist time of her life, Sol realized that looking at the sunset didn't comfort her as much as it used to, not as much as it did when she watched it with her friends. Finally realizing that, Solunei whispered the words, Wishing you were here...to see the sunset with me.

The next day, coming up with the hard truth that her friends were not on Mystery Island, Sol made a promise to herself, vowing that she would find her friends no matter how long it took her. She then remembered that back on their island, they would use these special stones to record things. She and her friends often recorded their wild adventures, with her usually being the recorder, with those stones. "Maybe there are those kinds of stones everywhere, not just on the island...." Sol thought to herself. That thought, along with her vow, made Sol decide that she needed to change, at least until she found her friends. So...Sol basically became the exact opposite of what she used to be. How else could one find their friends? Being timid and quiet wasn't going to help. Ger personality change wasn't that hard either, as those characteristics were probably hiding all along deep inside of her.

That same afternoon, just as Sol was walking along the docks of Mystery Island, going to board a boat, something collided with her, causing her to fall, rather ungracefully too. When she got out of her state of surprise, she looked down and saw what had hit her. It was some sort of small creature, with antennae and skin the color of the sky. It also seemed to have a mane of some sort who's color that reminded her of the ocean, when it was calm. Both of them just blinked at each other for a second before the small creature pounced on her in a flying/pouncing hug. Sol felt something drop onto her stomach as the creature pounced on her and saw that it was one of those recording stones. Sea-foam green eyes widening, she looked to the creature who seemed to have a knowing look it's in big eyes. Sol knew, right then and there, that the creature was a perfect traveling companion for her.

Now, both of them are aboard a ship and are traveling across the ocean, towards the mainland. Solunei has yet to see who's memories the stone holds as she hasn't found any private place to view it's contents yet. However, that doesn't stop her from hoping it is one that one of her friends could have recently recorded...
