Concept
Those who have been keeping up with the guild know that a strange creature seems to be after the herd. The herd does not know what this creature is--though what they may not realize is that there could be another creature on the way, out to get the herd.
The Contest
The premise of the contest is simple--create an accomplice for this creature who is after the herd. This will entail a few things, so please read the requirements carefully.
In order to have a complete entry you will need to have:
-A design for the creature. If you do not want or do not have time to draw an entire picture, contact Bonnie for a lineart.
-A character concept for the creature. This can be anything from a list of a few words to describe the character's traits, a paragraph explaining the character, or a complete story if you would like.
-A willingness to play this character within the guild.
The winner will be chosen by fellow guild members in a poll. Should there be more than five entries recieved, the entries will be seperated into groups. The groups will be voted on, and the winning group will then have its induvidual entries voted on.
The winner will get to play a more major role in the plot by playing the part of the creature they create. The winner will also recieve a drawing by Bonnie and a trophy graphic for their use (if they would like to use it) and a drawing by Eclipse.
Rules
-Please keep your creature visibly equine. While you may incorporate elements of other animals into your design, the base should be equine.
-Please keep your design and story Neopets appropriate. I realize our guild has many highly creative people and hate to restrict them, however I don't want anyone getting frozen!
-You may enter as many characters as you like, but remember the winner is chosen based on one entry, not all entries by the same person.
-If you would like to half of the work of the contest and share that with another person, you may enter like that. However, only one of you will be able to play the character on the guild. (So if one person makes the design and another writes the story, that is fine. But only one of those two will get to control the character.)
-You may ask to not have your name included with your entry if you want, as all entries will be assigned a number which will be used for the voting process.
-
No premade characters. All work for this contest cannot have been previously used within the guild.
-As always, this must be your own work.

Details
-Mix between a Kirin (goat-like Asian unicorn type creature), equine, and some kind of feline. Or Canine. Not sure.
-Because of his lightweight but muscular frame, he's quick on his hooves and very agile, but can take a hit or two if ever in a fight.
-Plates on his legs, stomach, and face protect from injuries
-His thick lion-like mane and short tail serve the same purpose as his plated body, just to keep him more protected from injuries like bite wounds.
-His mouth opens wide and is filled with jagged, sharp teeth used for ripping the flesh off his prey.
-Feline-like eyes provide him with excellent night vision
-Poor vision in light (daytime) as he's used to living in the dark all the time.
-Relies on his sense of smell for the most part in the day time.
-A sweet, almost floral scent always wafts from his body for some reason. Maybe to lure in his prey or something?

-He tends to be lazy and prefers to keep to himself.
-When given a task to do, he'll go out of his way to complete it no matter what!
-Is pretty quick tempered and tends to badmouth others who get in the way of him completing his tasks.
-He always seems to be hungry for some reason.

Concept: Once long ago he was an angel cast down from the heavens for having thoughts of evil intentions. However as a mortal the evils of his dreams became true, he could not control all the horrible deeds he was doing they just came so natural. He loved killing it became the only thing he enjoyed as all of his friends and family had abandoned him when he needed help. In order to stop his horrid acts the angels and other immortals sent minions to cut out his heart so he could never feel the passion of hurting others ever again.
The creature now heartless aimlessly wanders the land in search for his heart and other purpose. He is angered and he does not know what he wants nothing loves him and he loves nothing.
He came upon the Moonlight Herd one day as he heard about a 'creature' who perhaps knew if his heart was buried somewhere on herd grounds. Agreeing to work with him to 'exterminate or curse (something) to the herd in return the creature give him his heart. Becoming his accomplice.
