«♠ Soelstice's Ying Yang ♠»

♠† Intorduction †♠

You enter a run down building, dark and cold except for a tiny light and the far end of the room. It was pouring outside and you thought that this would give some shelter until the storm let off. Shaking the water off of your jacket, you walk closer to that light in hopes maybe there would be someone there you can ask it would be okay to stay there for a while. As you walk up to the light, you noice just a single desk and a chair next to a pillar in the middle of the very large room. You squint to see the area in the darkness, but you see nothing. Looking upon the desk you see stacks of paper, a spilled ink jar that spilled over some work. But you eyes lurk to something else on that desk, or so leaning on it. A scythe, larger than you are. Its blade shined with the tiny light from the candle. Inching towards it, you squint again to see a single wing on one side of it. Odd, you think to yourself. But the silence is broken by a clam voice from behind you.
Yes, it is quite odd isn't it?" You turn around quick enough you nearly trip over the curved leg of the chair to see an aisha. Her yellow and red eyes shone even though there was hardly any light, and her sweet smile seemed to light up the whole room. "Sorry to startle you, but I couldn't help but read your mind and..." It looked as if she was glaring at nothing, but quickly regained herself. "It is rather stormy out tonight, and you wanted to ask me if you wanted to stay till it subsided didn't you guest?" Her sweet smile returned and walked over to clean up her mess of ink. Then pulled another chair behind the pillar and sat it down beside you. "Have a seat, I know you've been walking for a while." You sit down, but glance at the scythe before resting back on her eyes.
What...err..who are you?" He hesitated, not sure if that was the right thing to say.
Well, since you asked. I don't usually tell people about myself but, I supposed I can make you an exception....

♠† Past Story †♠

Suin, Qatin, both daughters to two parents who you would think would never be together. At first, they were only expecting one child. But low and behold. Twins. A genetic mutation as some would say as twins where so rare they called it the work of the devil. Well, considering their parents where a demon and and angel, they couldn't really help that. Suin and Qatin grew up being almost inseparable, but a few days after their eigth birthday, they were kidnapped and separated. Suin and Qatin would never see each other for a very, very long time.

Suin was taken to a place no one really would want to wish to be. It was on the outskirts of a city, near a desert. A very run down place that hardly anyone came to that housed three people. These people where Hunters. Suin didn't know what happened to her parents, except that she was too far away to know where she was or where her sister was. Suin was the more timid sister, accepting tourments and teases or ignoring them, but her sister was the one to defend her and get herself into trouble by beating them up. So, being as timid as she was didn't say a word when these Hunters told her to do things; labor. Over the years she had stayed there, Suin grew to like these people, for they eventually got to know her and found out she was nothing like her sister at all. The Hunters knew that taking Suin back to her home would be a bad idea because that would revieal their identity, they kept her there and taught her the ways of fighting, giving her a backbone; strength. Although Suin may have had a farely nice life for 15 years, her sister Qatin, didn't...and would eventually forget she even had a sister.

Qatin was taken by the roughest and most brutal Hunters, the ones that knew what they where doing when around 'demons' like Qatin. Resisting capture ended up with Qatin being badly hurt, though she ignored her pains and fought back. She lost in the end, and was bound up and trown into a cage where she would await whatever was coming to her. The worst thing for her to handle, was the fact her sister was not there with her, Qatin would slowly loose her mind. Being strong and tempermental, Qatin was pushed well beyond her limits. Threatened to be killed was nothing compared to what she had to endure over the years. Soon enought, these Hunters that captured her soon found out something very interesting, and deadly. From being so angry and everything else bad, Qatin tapped into her power to use deadly magic. And over the years, she was able to control her powers enough to one day, create a big enough explosion to destory everything and everyone within 20 feet of her. Thats how she got away, and ended up wandering half mad and hardly any memory of anyone. She would never truly trust anyone after that.

Qatin had to run from just about everyone for they were hunting her down. How they knew it was her that made that expolsion was byond her but her name must have gotten around from Hunter to Hunter because just about every one of them was after her. Eventually that name came upon the three Hunters and Suin. At first, Suin didn't recongize that name at all, that is until her friends told her that it was her sister, she remembered. Suin wanted to help save her sister. Running blind in a raging gunfire is pretty much was she was doing, for she had no picture of what Qatin looked like it made things a little harder. But, even though she had no picture it wasn't had to realize that Qatin wasn't so different than she.

Suin, Qatin, both met on the battle field unsure of what to expect of the other. It was like looking in a mirror with only a few differeneces. Soon, they both ran away, protecting each other from the obsticals that came in each others way. Qatin showed Suin that she too had powers, although they were not the same, she was able to Suin teach what she knew. They lived nowhere and travelled everywhere, never staying in one place no longer than a day. Until one unfortunite day that would change Suin and Qatin's life forever.

On that day, Suin and Zeus were still asleep under a tree while Qatin desided to wander a little ways off. She was always getting herself into mischief, and never thought things through before she did it. While walking, she was blind to the fact that someone was following her, a good many were following her. She found out about them too late before they attacked Qatin. Suin and Qatin must have had a special connection, because when Qatin got stabbed, Suin was the one that screamed. Twenty against two wasn't quite fair, but Suin was sure the training she got would help her, but ishe failed to protect herself. Qatin fended them off using her powers, but they failed as well. Just when all hope was lost, they joined hands and held each other, as if that would somehow save them. The thing is, it did. How? Well, because they join hands, their powers combined and let off some kind of powerful blast that leveled at least a mile of land, killing almost everything in its path (except for Zeus of course). It saved them, but it left them so weak they were unable to do anything but lie there.

It is a mystery, but for some strange reason their bodies morphed into one. It is still unexplainable, but theory is that because they were so weak they combined to time-share each others bodies in order to stay alive. How they will be able to change back is unknown, but maybe their bodies were supposed to be together one more time, a purpose.

To hide their identity, they named themselves Soelstice. It fit them well. But as for that purpose, they are unaware of that and someday hope that a sign will show them the way sometime soon.

Zeus, a long time friend from god knows how long ago. I even forget where we met, but it was Suin who met him before Qatin did. Which is obviously before the transformation occured. Zeus is very loyal to both Siun and Qatin, also known as Soelstice, and would put himself in harms way to protect her. It is unknown who he truly is loyal to. He may just be protecting Soelstice for the fact Suin is in the same body. No one would know, he keeps that hidden. Besides being loyal, he likes to play around and goof off when he isn't grumpy, which isn't very often. Zeus likes to eat Ramen noodles and ice cream, and loves having his tummy rubbed.

Jokhull
To her, he's the kind of guy who will speak whats on his mind, no matter who it will hurt. He tends to flirt a lot, with almost any girl he comes across, which usually ends up with a slap in the face, or worse. I try to ignore him mostly, but besides his flirty attitude, he's very laid back and like others company, including mine for the most part. We like hanging out together, and goof off.

Zalyth
Very mysterious, and closed. He doesn't like to give away any hints about his past or present. I try to understand him, but he never budges when I bring anything like that up. Just because hes quiet about that, doesn't mean it will stop me from learning about his past life. Yes, meaning I can find another way to find that stuff out, and no one can really stop me when I've found something that interests me.

Katoria
A friend I will be forever in debt to. She was the one who took me under her wing when I was very much in the pit of giving up and letting the... 'people' find me. She reasured me that we where fused together for a purpose and a reason and that I shouldn't give up hope.

The rain beating down upon the roof slowed down to sprinkles pattering on the roof. Soelstice looked back at her ruined paper and sighed, knowing she would have to write that over again. "Well, it seems the rain has stopped enough. Shall I show you the door?" She stood and walked toward the door, you got up off of your chair and followed closely behind her. You were slightly amazed by her, and everything else. "My sister didn't like your company, but don't worry about her. I enjoyed it." Her sweet smile was there, you ignored the fact her sister didn't like you. Standing in the dorrway, you gave your thanks for shelter. As she opened the door, you felt her put something in your pocket. "Take care guest."
On the doorstep you reached into your pocket to pull out a single peice of tatered paper with your name and something about your future. You looked back at the door but she was gone. Then looked back into your hand, but then instead of writing, it was blank. Thinking nothing of it, you let it go, letting it float away and walked away.
Soelstice grabbed the empty paper and watched as you slowly walked away into the night, smiling.
