She wears her mask to hide her face, giving her an almost new identity. Believe never knew her parents, and has lived by herself on the streets of a dusty town for the past 17 years, fending for herself. Despite having no family, the red tattoo of an upside-down pentagram on the back of her neck shows she is the only surviving member of the Karasu clan. The Karasu clan were a group of bandits, banished from the city in which Believe currently lives. However, she struggled to grow up in a city where she was unwanted, but Makebelieve manages a hard life of theft, discrimination, and adventure.

FAQs

Feel free to ask me any questions via mail or on my board, but here's some information, and some common questions people have asked me. Enjoy~!

How long have you been drawing?
I've always loved to draw, but only got really into it in the past, say, 6 months? Before that it was just the odd sketch here and there, but all art on here is from within 6 months ago, when I started focusing a lot more on it xD

What Program/Tablet do you use?
I got my first ever tablet for Christmas in 2011, and it's a Wacom Intuos4. Absolutely amazing, I definitely recommend getting one! I use SketchBook Express for my line art, and Photoshop Elements 8 to colour. I got Photoshop CS5 for Christmas, too, but I still need to install it! Before Christmas all I did was traditional art, so, uh, I used pen and paper.

Have you ever taken art classes?
I went to a painting class when I was 7, but I'm rubbish at painting, so I stopped after about 2 weeks. Other than that, no, I'm a self-taught artist.

How old are you?
Several people have asked me this, actually o3o'; I'm 14, as of the 21st December 2011 c:

Do you take art requests?
Usually, unless I'm working on an app! Please check my welcome page though for updates/whether my requests are open/closed c: Requests from friends are always open, though! Art for friends and trades take first priority, though, so sorry if you have to wait a bit for your art!

Would you like to do an art trade?
YES! I'm always looking for art trades~!! ^0^ I don't mind what your art ability is, but all I ask is that you actually spend some time or try when you're drawing my pets. I do that for your pics, so I expect you to do the same for mine. Trades take first priority over requests~

Can I use some of your art you already drew?
Um, no. The art on my pets' page is all of my designs for my permies, so don't steal them. The art on my sketch/art request pages are al other people's designs, so don't steal them either. If I, or anyone for that matter, finds you using my art without permission, mail me so I can report them~.
