As with any adoption agency, there are a few things we would like to set straight:

Neopets Rule: Accounts Under 4 Months

• Can Adopt: pets leveled 1-2; pets painted blue, brown, checkered, glowing, green, invisible, orange, pink, purple, red, shadow, silver, skunk, speckled, split, white, yellow
• Cannot Adopt: pets over level 2; any Chomby, Cybunny, Draik, Hissi, Jetsam, Kiko, Koi, Krawk, Poogle, Tonu; any pet painted something other than the aforesaid colors

Rules

• Be respectful. That's why it's called "The Golden Rule"!
• Write more than "Ooh, your pet is pretty!" or "omg ur pet is da awesomest cn i hv it?" This is unprofessional and does not get you the pet.
• Read the Owner's Requests under each pet. If the current owner wants a permanent home for their pet and you are considering putting that pet right back UFA/UFT, don't apply.
• Make sure you read everything listed next to the pet. Each owner wants something different.
• Do not beg, bribe, or otherwise try to con the owner out of their pet. This is harassment and is reportable.
• Each owner reserves the right to take his/her pet(s) down from the agency. Do not harass them if they wish to do so!
• Owners: Please neomail me when your pet has been adopted so I may remove them from the list of adoptees. Thanks!

Tips

• Don't use chatspeak. The occasional spelling/grammar mistake is fine, though.
• Refer to the pet and their owners by their proper genders. I have seen people (in real life AND on the computer) get insulted by others calling them their incorrect gender. I'm sure you would be, as well. For your convenience, I have listed the genders of each pet.
• Do not pound a pet in order to get a new one. This bends the spirit of adopting.
