Getting Started:
Before you can begin playing you must first select one of the modes of play.
Your choices are easy, hard & zen.
Easy mode
This mode has the following hieroglyphics:
Playing on the easy setting is good practice. Points do not add up well in this mode.
Hard mode
This mode has the same hieroglyphics as easy, as well as a few more:
This is the mode I earned my avie in.
Zen mode
Same hieroglyphics as hard mode but no time limit and you only get 1 point per match up. Also if the board becomes such that no moves are present, the game score resets in this mode.
General information:

|
The goal of the game is to line up three or more of the same pictures. You can do this by going in a line vertically or horizontally. Sounding like a tour guide now, you will notice on your left that I have marked an example of each.
The game is timed. Time will be added for making points, so the higher points you make in each move the better chance you have of increasing your time.
Tip: try playing the game in the larger windows, you can see the pictures better.
And in case you notice your score, which is above the off music switch, you need a score of 2500 or more for the avie.

As you can see from the ever handy screenie, I have tried to explain everything I can about this game. For my sanity, arrow 1 is my favourite. Click on the music button to turn off the highly repetitive music. A second click will turn it grey and shut the sound off. Third click will return sound should you wish to listen to it.
Arrow 2 is also important. Click on the hourglass to pause the game. IMPORTANT: I have discovered that after pausing it three times, the game will not pause again, so make sure you actually want to pause and keep track of the times you do.
Arrows 3 and 4 are for restarting the game or sending the score. You may choose to do this at anytime.

Special items:
 |
Bombs: If a bomb drops three or more spaces it will clear all the vertical images in that row going upward from the bomb. If three bombs are lined up, they will act as normal items. When a bomb reaches the bottom without being dropped, it will explode, but only take itself. |
 |
Compasses: For the sake of argument, we'll call these thingys compasses...er yeah... compasses. Anyhow, these are basically wild cards. If you only have two of the same item but a compass below, click on the compass to complete the match. It will auto complete should it land in such a way to do so. |
| Ankhs: These ancient Egyptian symbols (which mean eternal life) will clear the horizontal and vertical rows when it falls to the bottom. |
|
Scarabs: These bugs will do the same thing as an ankh, but only the horizontal row will clear. |
 |
Staff Member's Head: This elongated and somewhat creepy head is worth 500 points if it reaches the bottom and clears the entire board.
|
Cheats:
Typing "pyramibread" during the game will highlight the first possible combo closest to the top of the game board. This code can be used multiple times.
Typing in "plzsutekcanihavemoretime" can be used once and will give a 30 second time bonus.
*Don't ask me how or where you type as I don't personally believe in using cheats for games, call me a purist.*
Pointers:
1: Never play expecting to score big it will save you frustration!
2: Hard mode earns you the most points!
3: Bombs and other specials are great at boosting your score try to use them as often as you can!
4. I've noticed that trying to line up both a vertical row and horizontal row at the same time can earn you a nice stack of points.
5. I tend to lean toward lining up the picture vertically, because if the bombs fall three or more spaces you get increased points.
6. Don't submit a low score. Play again and try to increase the score before submitting. If you have beaten your personal best, submit the score! It feels good to have reminder that you are getting better.
7. Don't forget to have fun! It's just a game after all!

Banner, button & original layout made by kandykaleena for titian_starfire. *Since the original layout, I have added screenies and changed some of the coding. Further changes of layout and coding were provided by ostara_22 who has kindly lent her expertise into making the page what it is today. This collaboration of efforts took a lot of work, therefore absolutely no sticky paws!
I also wish to thank friskysquirt, without her lessons in html I'd still be a coding newbie! *huggle squishes all three* Thanks gals!
