The Pelerin Wall

As you travel west from Neopia Central towards the Haunted Woods, you discover a large gatehouse (really more of a small tower with a gate through it) blocking your path. It is nestled in a four foot tall wall that runs north and south out of sight in both directions. You can see soldiers stationed on top of the tower. They are armed with bows and watch your every move.

On an open spot of ground outside the gate, a large blue skeith is drilling a group of young soldiers dressed in uniforms of dark khaki and dark green. They seem to be practicing moving in formation and using their polearms. The skeith notices you and shouts, Sergeant, take over. He flies towards you, lands, and bows.

Yes, the NeoKnights Templars were founded long ago by three brave Knights who sought to uphold justice and defend the weak. They were warriors of such renown and their cause so worthy that the people of Neopia Central granted them lands and a castle we now call the NKT Fortress.

Our castle lies near the crossroads between Neopia Central and the Haunted Woods. This Pelerin Wall behind me is our outer defenses. One of our jobs is to guard Neopia Central from attack from the west.

Today, the NeoKnights Templars is a small group of Neopians dedicated to serving others. In order to do this, our members strive to uphold a high level of character. We are firmly committed to following the Neopets Terms & Conditions. In fact, we require anyone who wants to join us to formally agree to follow them.

Our commitment to maintaining high moral character has bound us together despite our diverse backgrounds and interests. In our small group, we have Battledomers, Gamers, Restockers, Traders, casual Roleplayers, and other Neopian interests represented. We support each of these, but we try not to focus too much on just one. We also share interests in medieval fantasy, Knights, samurai, dragons, and chivalry.

The NeoKnights Templars are organized as an enlightened monarchy under the guidance of one of the Knights who founded our order. We don't buy our members loyalty with items and giveaways. We are a service guild, which means we work to serve others rather than ourselves. We collect items monthly to give to the Money Tree, and we seek other ways to help our members and other Neopians enjoy Neopia including sharing game tips and other helpful information.

We regularly compete against one another in a variety of activities, which we do strictly for fun. Our goal is for our guild to be a catalyst for each others' enjoyment of Neopets. As you can see from our strong walls and gates, we strive to provide a supportive, secure community for all of our members. In other words, we want to be a group that Neopets players can safely be a part of and enjoy. Really, our ultimate goal is to help one another be better Neopets players and people.
