Next to a nearby stream, a mother Draik lays an egg bearing her only son. Now this egg was not your usual Draik egg. It was black in color with red spots. One side of the egg was bearing the Triforce. It emitted a strange luminescent glow of Periwinkle. Months after the mother laid this egg; she wandered off into the forest and was never seen again. Some say that she was taken by a wild Grarrl. The egg, it stayed beneath a nest of leaves and moss by the stream. There was only enough warmth from the shell to keep the baby alive inside. Finally, on the day of Feburary 14th, this egg hatched. The cracking echoed throughout the forest. Out came a Baby Draik. He shook his head, opened his eyes, and looked at the world around him. From his point of view, all he could see was grass from the nest. The only thing he could hear was the sound of the whispering wind and the sounds of the stream next to the nest. He was alone and scared. He wished for someone to be there with him, nurturing him. He decided to be a brave little Draik. Being only a few minutes old, he tried to climb up the side of the nest, but failed. He hit the bottom of the nest with a thud.

His reaction to the fall was crying. His cries blasted through the forest. It was louder than the rushing water next to him. He cried for a very long time. Out of the forest comes a strange figure. She looked down at the little creature. He is startled and hides under some grass next to him and starts to shake. This has been the first living creature he has seen. She looks down on him with a bright smile. He starts to bring down the grass from his eyes to get a better look. She slowly reaches for him and says, "Its okay. My name is Michelle, I'm here to help you." She lifts him up carefully and held him in her hands for a few moments. He still felt a little skittish, but he was starting to like this creature. He smiled brightly at her as she did the same. He chirped at her and crawled him her arm and onto her shoulder. He held on as his newfound caretaker and he left the forest.

Now, it wasn't easy for Michelle to name this Draik. He was very unique indeed. He was a black Draik with red stripes and red hair. He has flames on his wings and grey horns. When he was brought home, he was given spiked cuffs for his arms and legs and a spiked choker for his neck. His right ear is pierced several times with small gold hoops. He enjoys his jewelry very much. On his left thigh was the mark of the Triforce. Now, Michelle was a big fan of "The Legend Of Zelda" series and knew what the Triforce was. She pondered on a name for days. She finally decided to name him Shurmak. Shurmak is a wizard in a very old and very rare Zelda game called "The Adventures of Zelda." There was a wizard in this game named Shurmak. He was a wise an powerful wizard with many powers.
