Once, in Lost Desert, there was a nomad tribe that lived from oasis to oasis. The chief of that tribe was a very respected lupe that had a beautiful aisha wife and a baby girl named Shresthi.
This girl grew up to be a very fine lady: good cook, good dancer, good singer, good worker. She knew everything she was suposed to, as the princess of the tribe. That was a life she enjoyed. She learned about her family's legacy and resposibilities. She understood it. Because protecting her people her was the task she was born for. But her happiness was not forever. Shresthi's camp was attacked several times by burglars and thieves, and till now they had managed just fine. They never expected they would once be overpowered. What Shresthi lost that day never came back. Hurt and lonely, she continued walking, just because that was her only way. Camp. Because all she knew about life, all her experiences, told her to keep walking. Under sun, under rain. Slowly, she began to give up. She began to wonder, why was she walking again. That's when she found a new smile.
Two babies were staring at her from the entrance of Sakhmet. They were dirty, looked famished and sad. She was passing by the city out of need, and was currently holding a piece of pyramibread on her hand. Their sad eyes made her hurt inside. She gave them the bread. The babies were Sergiara and Hyoga.
She wasn't alone now. Sergiara and Hyoga were orphans no one cared about. Shresthi took them with her, and became a little family. She was teaching them, feeding them, taking care of them like a mother. Those babies became the light of her eyes.
Months later, someone else barged into her life. She was cooking dinner, when a white uni came running her way.
-Help!!!- he yelled -The Nightsteed is coming for me!!!-
Unlucky for them, Shresthi just saw two things coming and reacted. Her dad had teached her how to fight.
Not one of the unis knew what happened when they were already unconcious in the floor. When they woke up, they had to tell Shresthi the truth. They were thieves, they scared people away from their camps, stole their food and run away. They were orphans, just like the babies. Little twins that had to grow up in a world so hostile they ran to the forest and lived outlaw.
Shresthi had no heart to condemn them, and recieved them on the camp. She teached them all she knew about having an honest nomadic life. They became a bigger family, noisy and happy. Shresthi looked at the babies playing, and the twins starting to enjoy life. Shresthi's smile became bigger everyday, and the sad memories that weighed her heart became less heavy. They where like her kids. Time later, she found a friend. They started to camp closer to the limit between the Haunted Woods and the dessert. One night, when they were celebrating the twins birthday by dancing around the bonfire, a girl and a faerie came walking to them, asking to join them around the fire. Nights are very cold in the dessert. They talked all night. Indrasena and Zach were a princess and a faerie in training. Indra was running away from home because she didn't want to be a queen. And Zach needed a princess to help in his path to become a class A faerie, so he was following Indra around.
Shresthi had found a full world.

The twins, sometimes so childish, sometimes so wise. She tries for them to have an honest life, but the task has proven to be harder than she thought-

- Indra is Shresthi's best friend, even when they are total opposites. Shresthi is grounded and responsible, while Indra is an irresponsable daydreamer, Shresthi is caring and Indra is carefree.

Zach, the little fairy. He became very close to Shresthi, and Zach likes to help her, thought it doesn't always turn ok, at least they have fun -

- Rambito came to Neopia from Virtupets space station. He always hurts himself -accidentally, of course- and turns to Shresthi so she can nurse him.
