Being in a mall is a joint effort and if everyone does their bit we can be what we aspire. There has been a new warning for CG's. This has been discussed on the boards and it appears that it comes in the form of Neomail. Upon reading the Neomail it is activated. To protect it is recommended to set your neomail preferences to plain text.. go to THIS PAGE. It is also recommended to not have remember PW's in your browser

Things have been quiet across our mall with no real news to report with the plot that has been on but after the plot is finished I am hoping that we can all get back to normal

A reminder that out of category items should not be constantly stocked and priced and used as quick sale items to bring in extra customers.

23rd Sept
Things have been quiet across neo in the last week or so with not much news to write. Recruiting has become a little slower but with time and effort we can get there. The positions still available will hopefully be filled soon and we can have our malls filled and performing at the best we can.

I will be reviewing all aspects of our mall and looking at ways to improve so if anyone has any areas of concern or ideas please let me know.

The key factor that I cannot stress enough for the MM branches is hut positioning & location and for the branches less than main market you really do need to target SW buyers and lift your shop visits from this area for the mall to function at its best. The mall banner does not have any other means of exposure except very limited Island market place.

16th Sept
I will be away for most of the weekend on a family trip. We will have our laptop on us but will not be on here a huge amount until Sunday afternoon

11th Sept
TNT has stopped all reference to the extensions in our shops that we use to distinguish where our shop visits come from.. they do still work from the market places. Our shop visits will not show mall hits when buyers click on the banners in any of our shops.

9th Sept
As from Sunday I am on 5 weeks leave from work. It should see me have enough time to get some of our pages up to date and able to seriously get some recruiting done for all branches

30th Aug
It is good to see that the CG threat appears to have died down and most of our members including myself have had their accounts returned. So far I have not known of any of our members that have lost anything so hope and best wishes to our last 2 frozen members this is the same.

It also appears there is going to be a downturn in the number of shop visits after the holidays and we cannot ignore Shop Wizard buyers especially non MM sized shops. All shops should price portions of their stock to gain maximum exposure where possible.

The Junior branch has no other exposure for the mall banner so shop prices need to be priced to your letter grouping in the Shop Wizard. Anyone who does not know how to do this please contact me.

For those members that have been wondering why our mall pages have not been updated it is due to neo stopping all petpage updates. The issue has now been fixed so I will endeavor to have our mall pages updated as soon as I can.

Welcome back usedbooks... you have been to cold for a month and it is time to thaw out. We now have all of our shops back in our mall so banners will need to be updated.

All Main Mall shops are reminded that daily checks of your hut positions using our hut position page is recommended and notify galitare of any poor hut positioning. This not only affects your shop but all members in our mall. NOTE* Please do not upgrade without contacting me first. I will give you a target size or advise if an upgrade is recommended. Your mall banner in the Market place needs to have the best possible hut location and position that we can get for your username and current shop size.

Unless prior arrangements have been made and agreed upon by us the following will apply. Our rules are designed to help all mall members make as much profit as possible out of being in a mall.

1. To be part of Pets Paradise Mall the requirement shop size is 620+ & you must stock a mimimum of 5 Pages before we link your shop to the Pets Paradise Banner
2. The Mall Banner must be in your shop description at all times and not be changed in any way. Initially you are given 2 days to place the banner into your shop description. Exceptions apply when notice of leaving an old mall to transfer to ours is longer than those 2 days.
3. Shop upgrades will be monitored/controlled to ensure that the best upgrade option is maintained for the benefit of the mall not just individual members. If you are wanting to upgrade do not do so until you contact galitare first as you and our mall may be worse off after your upgrade

   You may receive a request to upgrade which we will expect to be followed in a reasonable time frame. This will be discussed and agreed upon by both the member and us.

4. If you are going to be absent for a period of 5 days or more please just drop us a neomail and let us know. Members who we notice have become inactive with no prior arrangement will be neomailed and if there is no response within 7 days we will look for a replacement. If a replacement is found before we hear from you then that replacement will be accepted into our mall..
5. We will notify you when an update to the banner is required. This is to be done as soon as you recieve our update notification.
6. **IMPORTANT** Pets Paradise Golden Rule is that all members must have a shop constantly full of stock so we are asking if members keep their shop well stocked with a minimum of seven pages (some categories exempt).
7. Please target 15 to 20% of your shops stock at Shop Wizard prices to increase traffic coming into our mall. Successful Malling is a group effort and we would like to see all the shops in Pets Pardise continue to grow.
8. Out of category restocks, snipes, etc can be sold but
   • MUST BE kept to less than 35 items of your total stock. 35 of the same item = 35 total not 1
   • Be priced to sell
   • Maximum of 10 items/category at any given time
   • Not be constantly stocked

   We may grant SDB sell offs on the odd occasion but you must contact us first. Anyone found breaking this rule will get 3 warnings if they still do not abide by this rule they maybe replaced in the mall without anymore warnings.

9. Any member found to be improper or scamming in any way will be dropped from the mall.
10. One banner linking to your shop for hut purposes can be placed above the mall banner but please do not exceed 730w x 330h. If you would like a custom one made please contact Galitare.
11. Shop Layouts - Simple backgrounds can be used in the main shop content area as long as it's plain. If you would like to use our shop theme Galitare can supply the graphics and coding.
    Music is never to be used.. No exceptions.
12. No links to other malls, shops or directories outside of Pets Paradise are allowed in any shop. Please use your user lookup for this
13. Bottled Faeries, Neocola Tokens & Concert Tickets can be sold by all shops.
14. If you are wanting to leave Pets Paradise please provide 2 weeks notice or until a replacement is found. We will then ask you to remove the Pets Paradise Shop Banner.
15. New rules may be added if we consider it necessary

For some reason the bookshop we had removed the mall banner and is selling everything off with no warning. I have managed to already replace this position so welcome to lakefox

Welcome to the 2 latest members to join lyric666 taking the position Neohome & Garden and also misslegzz taking the Neggs & Maps. We have not been able to welcome tonichie who is filling the Clothing and Grooming shop and with moving house will be taking a bit of time to stock her shop fully

Great news that triciaroo has been Thawed from her Icy status :D As this position was linked to the Main branch as a temp link all banners will need to be updated.

Great to see shop sizes are still increasing. I have lifted the required joining size now to 450. Smaller shops can work as best they can to reach the new size.

I have been contacted by mrsmnd66 and she is currently trying to restore her account. With luck it will not be to long before we all have our accounts back and our mall can settle down to normal working instead of the chaos that it has been.

Any member who would like to join our staff please contact us thanks. Requirements would be to notify members of banner updates when required and ensure banners are correct. Report any problems that you become aware of.. ie frozen/inactive accounts. Be the member that your branch can contact on local branch issues and if you cannot resolve the issue forward it to either buy_swap_or_sell or myself (Galitare). Organise branch weekend sales and generally be friendly and helpful when contacting members.

Pets Paradise rules are designed to help all mall members make as much profit as possible out of being in a mall. Unless prior arrangements have been made and agreed upon by us the following will apply.

1. The joining requirement size is 450+.


2. Upgrade Goals of 2 shop upgrades per week below 425. Over 450 we would still like to see shops continue to grow upgrading towards MM to fill vacant positions that may occur in our MM Branch or both branches becoming MM size. As the Mall grows size requirements will rise


3. The Mall Banner must be in your shop description at all times and not be changed in any way. Initially you are given 3 days to place the banner into your shop description. Exceptions apply when notice of leaving an old mall to transfer to ours is longer than those 3 days.


4. We will notify you when an update to the banner is required and please do so as soon as possible.


5. **IMPORTANT**One of Pets Paradise Golden Rule is that all members must have a good shop size full of stock. As a mall we all need to work together as a team, so we are asking that if people could please keep their shop well stocked with a minimum of five pages where your category permits.


6. As the SW is the main source of traffic for Island Market shops try and target at least 35 to 40% of your shops stock at Shop Wizard prices.


7. Out of category restocks, snipes, etc can be sold but **MUST BE kept to less than 25 items of your total stock**. These should be priced at low SSW prices for quick sales. Anyone found breaking this rule will get 3 warnings if they still do not abide by this rule they maybe replaced in the mall without anymore warnings.


8. Any member found to be improper or scamming in any way will be dropped from the mall.


9. Scratchcards, Codestones, Dubloons, Bottled Faeries, Neocola Tokens & Concert Tickets can be sold by all shops.


10. If you are going to be absent for a period of 5 days or more please just drop us a neomail and let us know. If we contact you and do not get any reply within 7 days your position may become open.


11. One Small banner linking to your shop for hut purposes can be placed above the mall banner but please do not exceed 600w x 300h. If you would like a custom one made please contact Galitare.


12. Shop Layouts - Simple backgrounds can be used in the main shop content area as long as it's plain. If you would like to use our shop theme Galitare can supply the graphics and coding. Music is never to be used.. No exceptions.

15. The Island Market although it does not give a lot of hut shop hits it is a good place to learn about Hut positioning. When upgrading try to maintain a good hut position.

Would like to welcome the latest members to join.

25th August
Members who fail to respond to my neomails can and will result in your positions being re-opened, inactive shops that have little to no stock also may find their positions re-opened. Smaller malls will fail to function if members are inactive for long periods of time, not committed to try and get sales, fail to update banners or keep shops restocked.

21st August
Members constant reminding for banners in your shop that require updates with no reply can result in your position in the mall being opened for other shops to join. It is not fair on the members waiting to be linked.

We have had a few shops leave and some others join so welcome to those who have recently joined

9. One Small banner linking to your shop for hut purposes can be placed above the mall banner but please do not exceed 680w x 300h.


10. Shop Layouts - No full shop layouts. Simple backgrounds can be used in the main shop content area as long as it's plain.
    Music is never to be used.. No exceptions.


11. No links to other malls, shops or directories outside of Pets Paradise are allowed in any shop. Please use your user lookup for this
