I woke on a seaweed bed and I found myself...UNDERWATER!! I thought I going to drown until I realized I was able to breath underwater. I wondered where I was and I looked out of the window near the bed. I was shocked at what I saw, an underwater city. I looked at outer part of the place I was in. A palace! Now I thought I was dreaming but I wasn't. I turned my attention out to the city. Maraquan like creatures swimming around, a market bustling with people. Homes with kids playing outside of them. I then remembered my village and I thought I had to get out. I started to run but I felt some pain in my leg. I saw an injury on it but it had been wrapped. I then heard someone at the door "Well I see you woke up" it said in a soft voice.

I spun around I saw what must have been the queen of the palace. She had excessive bangs had seaweed on it and she wore a shell necklace. She had a beautiful sky blue pelt. Her body was well shaped and instead of back legs and tail, she had fins. Her emerald green eyes had a caring look in them as I looked at her. She seemed to be a quad lupess. I nodded and bowed, thinking that she was the queen. I was right for then she told me to stand and how her daughter found me.

Then behind her I saw Wavia but not at the age she is now, obviously. She looked my age, she had excessive bangs as well. Fins too, but there were a few deffirenceses. She had blue eyes and her pelt was more on the light blue side. She wore a ribbon on her neck and ribbon/lace lace like things flowing around her front legs twice before flowed away from her legs. On her left fin was a pink wave marking. She giggled and came up to me. I backed away alittle but thought I was showing disrespect so I stopped. "I'm Oceanwavia but I go by Wavia" she said smiling. I nodded and replyed. "I...I-I'm Shimaodori but everyone calls me Odori." I was still a little shakey. She circled around me alittle "I was the one that found you. No offence but you were alittle heavy" she laughed. I laughed too and so this would be the start of a great friendship.

A few days later Wavia took me back to my vilage with her mother and a few guards. As everyone saw me approach they came running to the waters edge. My father spoke with the queen as my mother hugged me. He was the cheif of the village back then. He thanked her and Wavia for saving me. He gave them a gift and hugged me. The queen nodded and went back into the sea with Wavia. Everyone started asking me what is was like to be in the underwater city. I told them everthing I saw and they all awed as I told them. Everyone started wishing that they could be there and we ran along the waters edge.

Wavia came the next and she played with all of since I realized she could walk on land as well be transforming her fins into back legs and 2 tails (the left one having the marking). We all had so much fun together and soon she started coming nearly everyday. She sometimes even brought her little brother and sister along to play as we got older. Wavia started becoming inseperatable.

I started practicing my dancing as we got older. Wavia Would singing along as I did so with my mother teaching me to dance. Wavia has been my best friend ever since that very day. She stuck by my side as much as possible too. I'll never regret what happened that faith full day we met.
