The very first legend of Sektolu is about the founding of the great city. It is of course only a legend, as it has never been scientifically proved. It happened a long time ago, back when the Draiks still knew how to morph into small Dragon creatures with the ability to travel through time and space and talk in pictures.
The nomades had been traveling through the Lost Desert for generations. They could not read, knew no grammar and they never had spare time. But one nightly blessing changed it all. It was a starry night, cold as it always is in the Lost Desert at night. The great leader of the nomades had just fallen asleep next to the mother of his children in their tent. All the children slept in another tent, except for their youngest child, an unhatched baby girl. In his dreams, the leader met a faerie. She told him that she could show him a great place for his people. The perfect place, where they wouldn't have to work ever again. But he would have to sacrifice his last child. The unhatched one. It was a hard choice, but he wouldn't get the offer again...so he accepted. The next day, he got up and asked his people to pack their stuff and follow him. When that was done, he placed the egg in the sand and left it. As promised, they found the mysterious and miraculous place and built their city. But the sacrifice has never been forgotten, and there has been attempts to find the egg up through the centuries...

You enter a city in the desert with white houses, grass, flowers and blooming cacti. There's gold on most of the houses, which goes perfect with the white marble. All around, kids of all species are running around, playing and having fun. As you walk up the street made of red bricks towards the castle, you see some people running around fast with papers, all looking stressed. Other people are relaxing in the shadows from the houses, enjoying themselves with a game of cards. This makes you wonder a little, but you continue your journey towards the market. The city is shaped like a big wheel with the castle in the middle, the main gate in east and the market in west. Another thing that makes you wonder. As you reach the bridge which is currently lowered letting people attend the castle, you eye a little creature floating over a flowerbed just outside the castle. As you're new in this town, it would be really nice to get someone to show you around.

Needs to be filled

My story

Sheeloki smiles. "My egg hatched. Simple as that, not that fancy, nor that interesting. I had to drink from cacti for days, and I was dying from hunger. Even a baby dragon needs food to survive. That's when Lily found me. She didn't just wonder into the desert, no. Well, yes. One of the babies of the family had run off, and she was looking for him, when she stumbled over me. She had to take me home, and they found the boy soon after. So Lily took care of me for years and years." She giggles. "Back then, I wasn't able to transform into a Draik. It took Lily years to figure out what I was saying, while the other pets had a much easier time." She stretches. "But I knew I was different. And when I was old enough, I took off and found Sektolu. Of course, I wasn't recognized. Only those...trophy and neopoints hunters were still searching for me. So when I presented myself at the palace...nobody believed me. But the moment the prince/princess placed the crown upon my head...I turned into this Draik figure. And then they knew for sure that their princess had returned."

Sheeloki smiles amused. "You don't understand how this country can bloom like this between a desert and a mountain?" She drags you into the palace garden, full of flowers and a fantastic smell. She first stops, when you reach a path with stone benches and a big stone painted black, appearantly serving as blackboard. From a little chest, she picks up a piece of chalk. "I'll explain!" She turns towards the script so her hair swings around, obviously loving this part of her life. Quickly she sketches a mountain and something, which she indicates as being the Lost Desert with a cactus. Then she draws a house with a little flag. "This town!" she exclaims while pointing at the house with the chalk. "You see. At first, we thought this was a miracle. A paradise between such unfriendly places as a desert and a mountain. Therefore, my people through the first time did almost nothing but play games and frost themselves. Slowly, this of course became boring, while a long period of stressed scientists followed. A few of them tried to find out why we suddenly got sick a lot. And discovered stress. Now, we're good at both working in the field, relaxing and making new discoveries. Actually, we're considered as a sister kingdom to Altador, the city commonly known as the center of knowledge." She pauses for a moment to breathe. "So. Back to the subject. You know what's important for growth?" [Eh...] You weren't prepared for a question, but you dig something from school up. [Sun...and...eh...water?] "EXACTLY!" Her joyful movement makes the chalk fly out into the grass. "Oops. Overexcited." She grabs a new piece of chalk from the little chest. "When the wind blows the clouds containing water over the desert, they don't drop the water, because it's so hot. But. When they reach the mountains, they have to go upwards! Which cools them off. Therefore, they drop the water as rain!" You shake your head. [They drop it on the mountains, so it doesn't explain...] "Oh, yes!" She turns around and draws a raining cloud over the mountain. "The water has nowhere to go from the mountain but down. To here." She draws the water down to the little house. "Therefore, we have an oasis. And for the same reason, there's pretty dry on the other side of this exact mountain," she notes. "We're so clever," she continues, proud of her countrymen.

Look

I have two forms: A Dragon form (Quad) and a Draik form (furry Anthro).
My Dragon form is split in red (left) and white (right). On one wing is a red spade and on the other is a white heart. My tail ends in a light blue dice. I have green eyes.
My Draik form has white scales, red wavy hair and a darker red dress. It opens in front and shows a white "triangle" with a red spades in it and it doesn't cover my shoulders. My crown is a red heart jewel in hanging in a golden string. My tail can be seen from under my dress and ends in a light blue dice. I have green eyes.

Dragon form

This would be my white and right side, drawn by Lily (lack of talent, psh).

This would be my red and left side, drawn by Lily's sister, Queen Naoimh. She must have taken all the talent. n_n

This is an absolutely amazing piece of art, done by the ever so lovely Indiglo, who simply offered Lily to draw me. Thanks! n_n

Draik form

This was drawn by Movieslol, and I like it very much. ^-^ She did make me look quite wet and sad, though. Hehe.

The most horrible sketch ever, done by Lily. u_u
