First Impression: 1/2 Woah! There is way to much pink! Also, the font you chose to use is quite distracting.
Layout: 0.5/2 First of all, there is way to much pink on the layout. It is hurting my eyes and it's distracting. Try adding in some more colors to break up the pink a bit. A nice blue would look good, and you can try around with other colors to see what will match nicely. Second, you have no banner, which wouldn't be too bad, if your header was bigger. The header that has your site name, is the same size as all your other headers, but the name of your site is more important so the header should be bigger. Also, instead of a banner, I see a long 'Looks Best in Internet Explorer' sign. All you need is a small one, not a big one. Another thing is your font. The type of font you chose to use is very distracting. I don't understand why your updates have a normal font, but the rest of your site doesn't. You should change it to a simple, easy to read font like Tahoma or Georgia.
Content: 1/2 A lot of your buttons are not very good quality at all and most are hard to read, which isn't good. Another thing is that none of your graphics are transparent and they should be, especially your buttons. Sunnyneo has a guide on how to make images transparent and I suggest you take a look at it. The one shield you made isn't really that great quality either. Your backgrounds are very nice! However, you have only made four. I suggest you should spend more time making backgrounds, since that seems to be your strong point. In your intro you say you make icons, but I don't see any on the site.
Spelling and Grammar: 1.5/2 In the intro you say 'I make buttons, banners, shields, icons.' It should say 'I make buttons, banners, shields
and icons.' Also, for rules number 4, 5 and 6, you started capitalizing the first letter of every word, which isn't needed. I think you should take down rule number five because it's not necessary. If people want to send you fan mail, they will, you don't need to encourage it.
Extras: 1.5/2 You have a good amount of affies, but Sun City Designs has closed so you need to remove their button. You are also listed in a good amount of directories. Most of your updates are spaced out by a few days, but that's ok because I know you can't update everyday. Your link back buttons are ok. I wouldn't really want to use any of them except the last one and maybe the first one. You should delete the long one with the slorg because that would not be considered a link back button. You should try making your own or requesting at some more popular, high quality button request sites.
Total: 5.5/10 or 55%
Your site could use quite a bit of work. But if you changed some stuff around and fixed up some things, your site could be much better.

First Impression: 2/2 I get a nice first impression when I enter your site. The top banner is very nice and everything matches very well. I like how even the button borders match the banner.
Layout: 2/2 The layout is very nice and you did a great job coding it! As I said before, I like the top banner and the rest of the layout matches nicely with it. The color scheme is nice and it's not to hard on the eyes.
Content: 1/2 I really like you Not UFT Banners, they are very nicely done. You buttons are also nice, but they are not transparent which isn't good, especially with some of the borders you have. Sunnyneo has a transparent image guide which I suggest you take a look at. Borders like 10 and 17 don't look good at all when they aren't transparent because there is a huge white background behind it.
Spelling and Grammar: 1.5/2 Under your reviews section it says

Extras: 0.5/2 Woah! You have way to many affies! Honestly, you shouldn't have that many. You have a good quality site and with a site like yours you should be more selective with your affiliates. A goal of 100 affies isn't good at all. You also need to go through your affies because there are some sites that have closed down. You are listed at a good amount of directories, but there is one that has closed and Fruitiee has moved. I don't like how you don't have updates. Yes I read your little note on the home page, but not having updates isn't good. There may be days when you don't update or go away, and your visitors like to know that. They also like to know what you added and how much you added on each day. It's not that hard to take 30 seconds and type what you added for the day.
Total: 7/10 or 70%
Not bad! But there are a few things you need to fix. You have a nice site and I know it can be even better!

First Impression: 1.5/2 My first impression is good, but nothing really pops out at me or catches my interest.
Layout: 1/2 You coded your layout very well, but there are few things I would like to suggest to you. First of all, you have a nice banner, but the rest of the layout doesn't really match. It is a bit boring with all that grey, white and black. You should make the colors of the layout match the banner. Experiment around with the colors in the banner and add them to links, headers, etc and find a color combination that looks good. Next, I would suggest making the text box a bit bigger because personally, I find it too small right now.
Content: 1/2 Your site is kind of hard to review for this part, because I'm not entirely sure what the point of your site is. It looks like a base for a story which is cool. You have the history and the crew, but that's about it. You've also got the log, but those look more like updates to me. I think you should actually begin writing stories and put them on the site. It would make the site alot more interesting, and it sounds like you have a good idea going.
Spelling and Grammar: 2/2 Everything looks good!
Extras: 0.5/2 You have no affies and your not listed anywhere, not good at all. You also only have one link back button to choose from, but it is nice.

First Impression: 2/2 I have a very good first impression of your site. It looks very organized and I like how the layout is center. Also, I love pirates. :)
Layout: 2/2 The layout great. I love the pirate theme, and everything matches really nicely. The colors you chose are really easy on the eyes. I like how all the headers match the pirate theme too! Like navigate the high seas and pirate's booty, that really clever.
Content: 2/2 Well you definitely get full marks here! With 825 sites listed, I would be able to find what I'm looking for. Your extension of Soroptimist Directory, SearchSoroptimist, just makes the site that much more helpful. I think you have one of the largest directories I've ever seen, which is amazing!
Spelling and Grammar: 2/2 Everything looks good!
Extras: 1.5/2 You have lots of very nice link back buttons which is great! You have good affies and all there sites still seem to be up and running. The directories your listed at are all still open except for Amy' Directory, you need to remove that link.

First Impression: 2/2 I get a nice first impression of your site. The banner at the top is nice and overall the site looks interesting. I want to stay and see more!
Layout: 2/2 The layout very nice. I love the top banner, and the rest of the colors all match nicely with the banner. Your site is very organized and I like how you came up with creative titles for each of your sections. It makes the site more fun and interesting.
Content: 1/2 You've got lots going on at Rave which is great! However, there are a few things I would like to mention. First of all, the directory is not very helpful because there are only 49 sites listed. Some categories only have one site listed and others don't have any sites. This wouldn't be a very helpful directory for someone who visited Rave because they were looking for a directory. I would suggest neomailing some site owners and asking if you could list their site, then you can ask them to link back to Rave, and most site owners would. Next, there are only two sites looking for comments. You can't do much about that because I wouldn't recommend asking site owners if they want comments, but you can advertise Rave on the HC, letting people know about the comments section. This would also help you get more listers in your directory. The tagged is good and the button contest looks like it's doing good too!
