Prerequisites

To get into this listing, all you need to do is qualify for a simple mathematical equation which goes something like this:
Max HP plus Strength=50
To be on the bottom tier, your pet's maximum hit points and strength added together must equal at least 50. The higher the total, the higher the tier your pet will sit at.
Also, please note that your pet does NOT necessarily need to be a battler. It would be more to your credit if they had participated in at least a few battles, but it's not necessary. If the directory gets too big, I might end up changing this rule - but that would be in the very distant future. ;D

Does your pet qualify? Mail me and ask me to add you! Simply include the following:

Name (and nickname if you please):
If they are or are not a lab pet:
If your pet is NOT a lab rat, or they have a base species you would like me do display a picture for, their species and colour:
If they are open for roleplays (keep in mind, a lot of directories are used as a means of finding a fun RP - this one hopes to do the same).

Also, in your application, if you're feeling especially nice, you may want to pre-tally your pet's points and tell me how many they have... hint hint. ;3

How do I raise my pet's stats?

There are several ways to improve your pet's stats. Here are some of the more practical suggestions.

First off, the Training Schools are likely the most practical ways, especially if you want your pet to stay as is. You have your choice of three academies; one is the Mystery Island Training School, and the other openly ready one is Cap'n Threelegs Swashbuckling Academy. There is also the secret training school, but this is only open to pets that are level 250 or higher. So, for now, let's assume the only realistic options are the other two. ;D The only real differences between the two are the course length and the cost of the training. While Mystery Island's training school offers quicker courses, they tend to be more expensive. The Mystery Island training school's currency is the codestone, while the Swashbuckling Academy's currency is various different kinds of dubloons.

Another moderate way of raising stats is to get the lab ray. To do so, collect all 9 pieces of the secret laboratory map. The total cost of the lab usually runs around 450 to 500k nowadays.
Anyways, you can use the lab once a day, every day. However, its effects are totally unconfirmed. The lab can do a variety of things - raise stats, lower stats, change your pet's gender, species, or colour, or even do nothing at all. It's a gamble, and if you start with a high-stat pet, you run the risk of losing valuable stat points - not to mention, especially if your labbing session is long-term, you would be almost guaranteed to lose your pet's natural form. Whether or not you find labbing efficient enough to work for you is up to you and you alone.

Although based on luck, a lot of people find that Faerie Quests can be very beneficial to a hardcore trainer. They come randomly, but it seems they become more frequent when you complete one or two successfully. It isn't rare to receive 4 or 5 in one day. All you need to do is, through one means of another, give the Faerie the item she asks for. Upon doing this, the faerie will select a pet and contribute a certain stat to them - dependent on the faerie who gave you the quest (for example, the Dark Faerie will raise your pet's HP). The pet she picks is random, so if you REALLY want a certain pet to get the stats, your best bet is to make sure it is alone on the account. Also, don't waste your time with Earth Faerie quests unless they're cheap - all she does is heal one pet! It is usually a huge waste of time and NP!

UPDATE: After recent experiments, I have found that Kitchen Quests are also a fairly efficient way of raising a pet's stats. Occasionally he will give you an item instead of stat points, but it tends to be a good item anyways, so it's not really something to gripe about :) I once payed about 2k to do one quest and recieved a copy of 'Eliv Thade's Guide to Anagrams', a book selling for around 60k. ^^ Every once in a while, he will also give you a shamelessly small amount of NPs instead - somewhere in the region of 1k or less- but, hey, you just have to gripe your teeth and get past it. It doesn't happen terribly often anyways.
If you're serious about your training and willing to take a risk, Kitchen Quests may be the way to go for you. Often cheap quests with the ability to give you some instant stat points, how can you go wrong? :)
Also, for those concerned, it appears that he will, unfortunately, apply the stat bonuses to any of your pets. For reasons like these, most people who are passionate about their training will put their trainer alone on an account. So, if you have other pets on the account that you are not willing to move, please keep this risk in mind before doing these quests!

Besides occasionally receiving a stat boost as a random event, there are no other really practical ways of obtaining stats quickly and efficiently. So, with that in mind, hop to it and start training!
