Back when he was alive, Scratch was a pirate. When his ship sank (with him on it) Scratch came to the Haunted Woods. Now he runs a library near Neovia and is quite friendly with the townspeople. Even though Scratch is no longer a pirate, he still posses all of his fighting skills, so if anyone tries to fight him, they will be struck down easily. Scratch also has excellent aim with any projectile weapon and mean sword fighting skills.
