--You set out over a well-trod dirt path, heading north through these woods. You've been traveling for a long time, never once looking back. As dawn's first misty light touched the gray sky, you packed up your few belongings, hitched your nearly empty food pack up on your shoulders, and started walking once again, like the day before, humming a simple tune.
--Pretty soon you see something new appear over the horizon through the trees...a building of some sort. Stepping out of the woodlands, you see a spire rising above a magnificent red sandstone wall, the color of rose petals, glowing softly in the morning light. Green ivy holds on to the old bricks almost lovingly.
--You take a step closer in wonder at the sight. Then you notice a creature leaning slightly over the ramparts, watching you. It turns and disappears from view, leaving you curious. A few moments later the large door opens and a young mouse in a light blue habit appears.
--You shuffle your footpaws, "Hi.
--The mouse smiles, "Hello! I'm Abbess Theoramae. This is Redwall Abbey." She gestures at the building. "And you are...
--She cocks her head inquisitively and you tell her your name, stuttering nervously. Theoramae grins in a friendly manner and reaches for your paw, saying, "Welcome to Redwall, guest! We're about to have breakfast, won't you join us?
--You pat your lean stomach and take her paw, "I think I will, thank you.
--Theoramae leads you through the huge gate, exclaiming, "I'll introduce you to everyone!
