Shadow was born to a litter of six. His 2 sisters and one brother were faerie, which came from Shadow's mom, and the two other brothers were shadow. Shadow was the only mix.
They all lived on a planet called Vendara. It was a small planet, and only about 1,200 xweetoks lived there. Far off from there were two other planets called Zerovia and Kiomi. The two were enemies. One day, Kiomi decided that they wanted to get rid of Zerovia for good, and it sent missles in all directions.
Zerovia was hit by many and destroyed, but sadly, on of the bombs hit Vendara. When the missle hit, it broke and small bombs flew everywhere, destroying the planet. About 2/5 of the xweetoks had wings. About 1/3 of them flew away in time. Shadow, luckily was one of those. After everything settled, Shadow came down to see that his family was dead, and that the planet was almost completely destroyed.
Shadow flew far away. He flew for days, until he came to another planet. He went to it, and it just so happened to be Neopia. Around Neopia, Shadow heard stories about a place with strange xweetoks with powers called The Xweetok Forest. After many years of searching for it, he found it. The Xweetok Forest was his new home.
