Look, it's --dare I say-- an update! Once again, my apologies for such a huge gap in entries. Although I've been busy lately --several new members in the pack, along with the greatly anticipated change of seasons from that terrible summer weather-- I haven't had the chance to talk to Star or Angel lately. I wonder how they are?However, I have had the chance to talk to another member of my family: my only biological daughter, April. If one happened to be an avid reader of my journal, he or she would notice that she is scarcely, if ever, mentioned -- the reason being that she left us along with her father what felt like years ago, and I have forced myself to move on. Young wolves leave their parent packs -- it's a part of life I must learn to accept.

She has recently returned to our pack, receiving the warmest welcome I believe I have ever given. Words cannot express how delighted I was --am!-- to see her! After all this time, here I am to find April alive and well! She explained to me (soon after I exclaimed my joy several times, naturally!) what became of her after she left: she had left with her father in order to keep him company, which undoubtably had kept him living for the majority of the time.

Differ. I had almost forgotten that they went together. What had become of him? Did he fare as well as April? With a heavy heart, she explained to me that Differ did not contain the hearty youth he once posessed. The cold, April told me, had simply been too much for the aging wolf. He silently passed away. Star is my second-in-command in The Silver Crystal Wolf Pack -- and my son. He ran away from our rival pack, the evil Dark Hearts, when he was a young puppy, and I adopted him. We're very close (although I'm sure he'd be embarassed if I told anyone that!) and I trust him with my life.Star is (c) to petloveratca.

Lycaea is third-in-command at TSCWP, the Beta. She's incredibly intelligent, as well as loyal -- and she has a dark past that rivals that of any other wolf I have ever met. Although I was considering forcing her to leave the pack, I came to my senses, thankfully. Lycaea is my most trusted advisor, and keeps me well informed of goings-on in the pack.Lycaea is (c) to flurrynight.

Blue Flame is perhaps one of the most arrogant, self-absorbed wolves I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. He is, I'm afraid, my only non-adopted son. Lucky me!Character is (c) to me, gelert_luver2.

Lilla is one of my adopted daughters. She's of a peculiar race of wolves called the Angea, which I know surprisingly little about. Even my mother, who seemed to know something about everything, never mentioned them; I'll have to talk to Lilla about it sometime, as it has caused quite a bit of turmoil within our family, including the supposed death of my beloved daughter, which was inexplainably hard on me. Thankfully, she's back now, with a purple coat, nonetheless! I really don't know what I would do without her -- she is my confidant, and I can always trust her advice. I also appreciate that she's Blue Flame's only friend. (A sticky note attached to the page informs you that Blue Flame, who crossed that last part out, most certainly does not agree.)
