The weather is nice and sunny with a pleasent breeze. You decide to take advantage of the abnormaly nice day and take a stroll with your pets in neopia park. The sun glares into your eye's and causes you to stray off the beaten path. As your eye's comes into focus you sudenly find yourself at the entrance of a small secluded valley.

You curiously investigate. As you look around, you notice the edges of the valley contained behind towering walls of sheet rock. Several large trees dot the landscape, the grass reaching past your knees. Parting the blades, you find a trickling stream reminating from a silvery waterfall on the far eastern rock wall.

You feel very relaxed and decide to sit in the nearby shade of a large oak. As you lay peacefully resting, something slowly moves toward you hidden in the grass, although you dont seem to notice. You are forcefully snapped back into reality, when sudenly something jumps out of the grass and into the tree above you.

You shockingly stare upward, and quickly idnetify the creature to be a female pink xweetok. Several beams of sunlight break through the canopy causing her moca brown fur to shimmer magnificantly. Resting on the thickest bough, the Xweetok sighes and casts an amused glance down to where you stand, locking her deep magenta eyes with yours.

It was a cold day in december, I remember it well. Aparently Xweetoks where very popular, so without a seconed thought I was brought into this world. I thought I would be happy with my owner and her other pets. But, to my horror, three days later I was cast away into one of the many cages of the neopian pound.

Unwanted... unloved.... Those who have been never experienced the pound for themselves cannot even begin to understand. I was always stuck in a back room within a small wire cage. Every on ce in a while a small group of people would come in. At such times I was poked and prodded, to on ly have them move on to the next cage without even a seconed thought.

Day after day the same rutine played out again and again. I thought that I would stay confined forever... That is, untill she walked in. The day started out like any other. Dark and dank on e moment, the room floded with light another. At on e such moment, instead of the usual group, a young girl with long dark brown hair walked into the room.

With a profesional apeal about her, she slowly walked by each and every cage, unlike the many others who meerly glanced. Cage by cage she came ever closer. I could just barely hear her footsteps echo in the hall. After a moments she came to look at me. Her hazel eyes peared at me through the wire mesh of my cage. I blinked blindly at her, not knowing exactly what to think.

After a long and unconfortable scilence, she smiled and reached for the buzzer above my cage. The mesh doors flew open and I excidedly bounded out to meet my new owner. I soon found out that Kyt, as my new owner was called, was a foster parent for The Official Neopian Orphanage.

Like many others in her guild, Kyt adopted pets out of the pound, prettied them up, then foinds them a new loving home. The main tool for the average foster parent? The lab... This strange and elusive place had the power to make you stronger, give you a new color or even change your specie. You can never know what will happen, its all up to chance.

After staying with Kyt for several days, I too was brought to this lab. Located in the heart of Mystery Islands thick jungle, the lab lay hidden from the world. The sole inhabitant of this lab? A diranged yellow schorchio with a giant lazer... Aparently not a good combination. Ready at his controls, the experimented on any neopet that ventured into his lab, willing or not.

Was I willing? I most certinally was not! I was terrified of the lab... And, even more of that Insane Yellow Scorchio. But, I didnt really have a choice in the matter and was shoved directly into his fireing range. A loud bang and a bolt of lightning... And the result? A few more hitpoints, I would have to come back the next day.

Many times I was brought to the lab, most times to have nothing happen at all. A few max hitpoints here and there, an ocasional leval boost.. but nothing too extravagant. Eventually it seemed that my dailly visits where paying off when one day I gained a whole new color, cloud. I was extatic! But, Kyt didnt really like my new look too much, so sadly I continued my daily visits to the lab.

After a few more zaps my color changed once more, this time to an erie ghost. I would have been very happy with this new color, if it wasent for the fact that every time I see my reflection I nearly jump out of my skin. Both me and Kyt agreed, this color had to go. It was weeks before anything interesting happend to me again.

Trips to the lab had become dreadfully boreing. Nothing seemed to happen anymore, I wasnt expecting what was to happen next. The morning started out like any other. Kyt took me away to Mystery Isle, we made our way to the lab, I got zapped by that stupid Schoricho and went to go look in ther mirror to see if anything had changed.

As I stared into my reflection my jaw went agape. My fur had become a brilliant shade of pink! "The zapping stops here!", Kyt assured me. I was glad, pink being my favorite color and all. No other color would have suited me so fine. But, I couldnt help but wounder, what would happen next...

A few days later I was brought to the official TNO adoptin center and registered. Now that I had a new color and better stats, I was to be put up for adoption and found a new permenent home. Only the best, Kyt assured me that she would accpet nothing less.

Once again I was put on display, only this time every one was interested in me. My new shade of pink had made me an avvie pet. Highly prized and sought out for the avvie that I could give. Avvie hunters ofter came by, practiaclly drooling on me as they did there best to pry me away from Kyt, all rejected, to my relief.

The days went by, still an acceptable owner could not be found. Kyt went over every application very carefully... but where all thown in the garbage shortly after. More avvie hunters, the search for my new owenr would have to go on.

Out of the corner of my eye I could just barely make out a young girl hidding behind one of the large white pillars that held the celing into place. Her long brown hair hid her face from view, as she stared in awe. For a moment her crystal blue eyes locked with mine. She closed her eyes and smilled at me, and without hesitation she darted away.

The very next day as I endured through the many on lookers that came to vistit, I once again noticed someone hidding behind the pillar. The girl had come back, only this time with a large stack of papers. She nervouslly handed them over to Kyt, who then sat down to read what she had written.

After thourally reading all that she had to say, Kyt smilled warmlly and placed her application in the empty bin on her desk labled accepted. "Congratulations Mega, your applicaiton was great. I have yet to set a deadline for Ses, but I will very soon. Untill then please be patient, as I am trying to find the best possible owner for Ses.".

After thanking Kyt many times, she turned her attenion to me. Smilling deeply, our eyes made contact once more. After a brief moment she spun around and hummed to herself as she headed out the door.

Mega came to visit me many times. I soon became accustomed to her visits and often looked forward to them. After all, she wasent like most of the people who came to see me. She seemed to like me for who I really was, and not for the avvie that so many had sought.

It was several weeks before Kyt noticed something interesting. Over time, a strange bond had developed. Mega and me where becoming rather attached to one another. I was always at my happiest when she was around, and depresed at the time she had to leave. Kyt looked at me and smiled. "I think I have found you a new home!

A new home? I could scarsley believe what I was hearing! I shook with excitment as Kyt edited the text on my lookup. After all I had been though... The pound, the lab, the nOObs! It was finally all over. Looking over what new text Kyt had typed up nearly made me cry. To her new home with.... Mega(eon_tamer)!!

A few days later the time for the transfer finally came. I was to be cast into the pound once more. I was trembeling with exciteted, yet at the same time with fear. There are times when things go wrong. If something did, who knows where I would end up... I shook my head and tried not to think too much of it. Kyt ashured me that all precautions had been taken care of. I was ready to go.

Mega and Kyt met over a Instant messanger And after a brief conversation, it was time for me to leave. The tension grew thick as I walked through the pound doors. Only this time, to the left. The clerk opened the door to the back room I knew to well and beconed me inside. On the count of three...

3...2......1 GO! I rushed as fast as I could into the room as the door slamed behind me. Before I could blink the room filled with people. The same nOObs that before would hardly glance at me became to draw ever closer as I searched frantically for Mega.

I nervously looked around the room in hopes of catching a sight of her, but the nOObs where catching up to me. I was about to cry when to my great relief Mega rushed to my side. "Back off!", She yelled at the top of her lungs. "Ses will be comeing home with me!

Her threats didnt seem to diture them much. Some of the more daring of the bunch steped foreward and came ever closer. Mega wistled and within seconds three neopets burst into the room and rushed to her side. An Eletric Orgin, Shadow Shoyru and Island Zafera Growled ferocioucly and did there best to keep them at bay.

Mega grabed my paw, her three pets close behind, and rushed me into the lobby, the door slamming behind us. At long last I was able to look into the eyes of my new owner. Mega smiled and I was quickly introduced to my new family who bounded over to greet me. From that moment I knew, I had finally found my new home.

So, here I am now. I have been living with Mega now for quite a while and I couldnt ask for a better owner. I will never be up for adoption. I will not be lent for my avatar. I will never be trasfered. I am very hapy where im at. Ask for me, and mega will twap you good!

I just love to spend the day outside when its nice and sunny out.
The feel of the warm sun as you lay in a bed of thick grass,
a cooling breeze rushing through your fur. Nothing better in all of neopia!

On cool summer nights I like to sleep outside under the stars. Stargazing has to be at the top of my list of favorite past times. It's even more fun while doing it with friends!

Pink has to be my favorite color. Good think too.

But, my bigest pet peeve of all has to be nOOb's!
I hate the beggers, thiefs and the just plain stupid's most of all.

With an adorable look of pure evil in her eyes.
I met Rain ... well, when it was raining, thus the name. XD Soaking wet, and chilled to the core the poor little angelpuss lay in a heap underneath a low shrub. Trying to escape the rain myself, I noticed the poor little thing and took it with me. We have been inseparable ever since and the angelpuss thus given the name rain. Rain is rather shy at times. But, while she watches the other petpets play with there owners there is an diranged look in her eyes. A cute and cuddley exterior could house some evil intentions.

Im somewhat shy when it comes to other pets. It takes me a while before im confortable talking to a new face. Mega says im impulsive.

Im usually peacefull and prefer not to fight, in fact im usually pushed around because im so lax. If only they knew what true power I really had.

Since the time of my birth I has been alone. Living among the trees I have become very close to nature. The trees have given me the ability to hide, water the gift to heal, and wind a sense of knowing.

My one and only battle tatic?

The Ice Fang!
Delivered by fang as the name sugests, a cold rush of arctic air blasts through the enemies viens. A single bite could render an enemy frozen and helpless untill the time that they thawed.

Mega and I are unshure of how I came to be in posesion of this teqnique. Discovered on acident this move had a lasting first impression that Id rather forget. Poor Mega, it was only a scratch, yet she was frozen for a good fifteen minuites before the blast wore off.

Well, it seem's that we must part.
It was very nice meeting with you guest,
Who knows, mabey our paths may cross again

And with that, the stunning Xweetok dashes out of sight. You slowly get up and make your way over to the exit. Its about time you headed home anyway, the sun is setting, you have stayed longer than you had liked. As you look around, you try to remember which direction you came from. After a few minuites, you find your way back to the beaten path from whence you started.
