The Castle
You walk down a lonely road, deep in the Haunted Woods. The path is surrounded by dense trees, so you have no choice but to go back or forward. Even though it's still in the afternoon, there's hardly any light that comes through trees, making it feel like it's night already.
Just as you're about to turn back, you hear a laughter in the distance. Not some manical and insane laughter as you would expect in these Woods, but a more happy one. Curiousity takes over, and you decide to keep following the path.
After a couple of minutes you come across an old, but open gate. There is a sign above it and you whisper the words as you read them:
Castle Maglor
Home of the Forgotten
On one side of the gate you notice more text. As you move closer you realise that it's some sort of poem..
We dwell in your mind,
as a shadow of a thought,
for we are the forgotten,
those never to be sought.
Our solitude has brought us here,
to the empty woods we roam,
but together we have found our fate,
with the Castle as our home.
You look around, but since you don't see a castle anywhere, you continue down the road, which now turns to the West. As you passed the bent you stand still immediatly. Amazed you watch over a large field of grass, flooded with sunlight, flowers and only a couple of trees.
Hello there!', you hear a voice saying. You turn around and see a beautiful Faerie Grundo walking towards you, smiling. 'I see you found our home. We don't get many visitors, besides the others that live here.' You're still a little surprised to find anyone here, but curious none the less. 'You ehm..live here?' You ask her. 'Oh yes, right there in the old castle.' She responds as she points towards the other side of the field. 'I'm Seira by the way, Seira Maglor.' You turn around and begin to wonder how you didn't see that castle before, since it is rather big. Then you turn back to Seira to introduce yourself. 'I'm guest, nice to meet you. So, do you live here all alone or..?' Seira giggles. 'Of course not. I live in the castle with my new family, Credo, Vidle and Vespa. And there are others around here too. You see, the path you took doesn't end here, it goes on a bit in several directions, mostly towards some caves, and that's where our friends live. We all have our own stories and history, but we're happy living all together now. If you like, I could take you inside. I'll tell you my story and you'll get to meet the others. What do you think? |

Credo
Credo became the first part of my new family. He's been a great friend and I am forever grateful that I met him.
Vidle
Vidle is now a part of my new family aswell. To me he's like a little brother. He's a very playful little guy and I love giving him his flying lessons.
