Whaa! You fall over out of surprise from the sudden appearance of the creature. Who.. who are you?
The creature points to himself. Me? Why, I'm Sehgo. Who are you?
Uh.. I'm.. I'm guest...
It's really nice to meet you. I haven't met anyone for quite a while.. not many people come this way.. He pauses momentarily. Why.. exactly are you here, guest?
You explain your situation to Sehgo who nods occasionally.
Ah, okay I see now. You know, this place really isn't very safe for people like you. The dust storms here are very violent and the few creatures that do live here might try to well, er.. eat.. you.. especially when it's dark. But don't worry, I'll take you to some place safe. Sehgo smiles kindly.
The strange Krawk seems to be friendly enough so you decide to take up his offer to take you to safety.
If this place is so dangerous then.. why are you here?
Because. This.. is my home..
The sand storm subsides and the two of you begin to cross the desert.
You see, I was born here along with several other Krawks. Now, you're probably thinking it's strange for Krawks to be living in such a dry and sandy environment, but the group I was born into was a special clan of Desert Krawks. Over time, we managed to adapt to the harsh climate here and made it our home.
But.. several years ago, a strange sickness broke out and infected many Krawks who.. not long after, died. We couldn't find a cure and when I was born, many of the Krawks have already died. The old and the young were the most vulnerable, but for some reason, I was immune to the disease.
Soon all the young and older Krawks were practically gone.. except me. The middle aged Krawks began getting it faster and they began to die off. My parents caught the sickness and past away when I was only 7...
The ones who were just barely sick told me to go.. get out of the desert and find someplace to live so that I'd be at least the last living Desert Krawk and someday be able to renew my clan.. I had no other choice but to do so, for my clan.
For years, I lived on my own. I hunted the few animals for food. And.. one day... I was sleeping next to a sand dune for protection against the sun and wind when I was awoken by a snarling sound. When I opened my eyes, I was completely surprised to see it was another Desert Krawk, but I wasn't happy to see him like you'd think I'd be. This Krawk was sickeningly skinny and his claws were long and jagged. I could tell this Krawk was sick with the disease, but it affected him in a different way. It caused him to become mentally unstable and he saw me as food. He attacked me and I fought for my life. Despite the fact that this Krawk was all skin and bones, he was strong. I narrowly escaped the fight with just small wounds from his teeth and claws, the worst being on my left shoulder. It caused me great grief to know that the Krawk I had just fought could have very well been someone I knew.
And so, I've been living in this desert all my life, wandering around to no where in particular. Besides, the outside world doesn't sound too interesting to me even if it gives me the chance to meet new people and maybe other Krawks..
Now that you know about my past, I suppose it'd be good if you learned about the present too, eh?

So Sehgo.. you have no other family left that you know of..?
Eh? Oh of course I do! All I said was that my clan, my original family, is gone. But I do have others that I see as family.
Kegawa
Kegawa. I just recently started staying with her and her family. I must say, I do like our little household very much. She reminds me of my mother in some ways..
Chii
I know very little about this fellow, nor does anyone else it seems. He's terrified of humans, even Kegawa. I usually only see him grabbing food and taking it up to his room or heading outside to somewhere.. hmm...
Chiko
Chiko likes to explore, like my self, so we sometimes go exploring some where with the help of his magic power. He can make things levitate, even himself and others, too. It's quite fun.
Ah, so you do have a family. What about friends?
I do, actually!
Tosukey
A little furry draik who came from the southern most part of Neopia, from what I understand. Though she doesn't seem to like hot temperatures, she sure does seem to enjoy dressing up in desert attire.
Yajinko
Believe it or not, this other furry little draik is Suke's son! Compared to his mother, he is much more down to earth and serious.
But I do have a small companion.
Sehgo looks down at his scarf and a tired Quetzal's head wiggles out.
See? This is my little companion, Cho.
Name: Cho
Gender: Male
Special traits: He's... from Geraptiku
Since Cho is a Quetzal and Quetzals are really only found in Geraptiku, I assume that he somehow got misplaced here or.. traveled a long, long, long way over here. And as you can see, his colors have adapted with the desert for better camouflage!
You look at Cho, unsure if he's safe or not to touch.
Sehgo notices your uncertainty. Haha, if you're worried about Cho, he's really quite harmless and tame. He only hurts when it comes to eating, hehe..
A few sheets of paper slip out from under Sehgo's scarf and fall to the ground.
Huh? What are those? You point down at the papers.
Oh, these? He kneels down and scoops up the sheets. These are just some drawings of yours truly!

The sun finally disappears behind the hills of sand and mountains after hours of walking and Sehgo telling stories. You and Sehgo make it to the start of the grassy plains where you bid your good-byes.
Well, here you are. I'm sure you can make it to Altador by yourself, right?
You nod in agreement. Mm-hmm. Thank you so much Sehgo. I wish I had some way of repaying you, but er...
Sehgo chuckles. Haha, I don't need any sort of payment. Just paying me a visit sometime will do perfectly.
Well, alright then... see ya!
You start heading towards Altador while waving your last good-bye to Sehgo who turns and walks and soon disappears behind the dunes.
