Greetings! Genafire's Art was created on September 10th, 2011 by Genafire, but you can call me Gena. I offer requests and post my art here. Feel free to poke around for a while, and maybe even request a drawing of your own!


So this whole art thing began when a friend on Neopets asked me to drawn fan art of her pet. I have never really been good at drawing people or animals, but I thought I'd give it a shot. And guess what? Turns out I can draw Neopets! This was in July, and I haven't really advertised my art, until now.


I have created this petpage so that I can get requests and keep myself occupied. All the artwork that I've done can be found in the portfolio section. Please, before you send in your request, look at the pictures to be sure that my style is what you are looking for. I work really hard on these pictures and I'd love for you to enjoy them. I use regular white paper and colored pencils. If you are interested, send me your request! If you have any questions, they may be answered in the FAQ, and if they're not, feel free to neomail me!

Rules

1. Do not edit or claim that you made my art.

2. Please, only neo-related requests.

3. IMPORTANT! Never enter my art into contests! It is against the rules! Try making your own art if you want to enter a contest.

4. If you don't like the drawing, please let me know, so I can fix it up! I really won't mind.

5. Only request when requests are open.

6. You can use my art on anything on-site, but please don't post my art off-site!

7. Do not delete any info in the form! Even if an option is left blank, it helps keep me organized.

9. I have the right to refuse to draw your pet, or stop drawing it, for any reason.

10. Please replace the word insane with brilliant in the request form.

You can request small or large image size. You might care about this part if you are planning to use the art in a petpage versus a pet lookup. Unless you specify a specific pose, I will choose for the picture. Also, I always draw the clothes your pet is wearing, so if you want no clothes or just the paint brush clothes, please tell me that! Pets are on a white background.

Can you draw my pet?
Sure thing! Just read the rules please.

Why when I click "continue", it brings me to a different page?
That's probably because you didn't read the rules..

If requests are closed, can I still ask you to draw my pet?
Please don't. Requests are usually open, unless real world gets in the way, like a huge test coming up or a project I have to do. If that's the case, requests will only be down until after the other stuff is taken care of.

How long does it take to finish a drawing?
It takes me maybe at most a week.
NOTE: During the week I'm usually busy with school, lessons, music, sport, and homework. WEEKENDS are probably going to be when most art get done. If it's urgent, please specify a deadline.

I went to pick up my picture, but the image was broken!
Oh dear, looks like tinypic deleted it.. No need to fear! Just neomail me and I'll re-upload ASAP. This has only happened once before, but it was a header..

Why do the pictures in the portfolio have "Genafire's Art /~Scerenity" written across them?
This is to protect my art on Neopets from people who might use it without my permission or try to claim it as their own.

I wasn't on Neopets for a while, and now my request is in your portfolio!

Of course you can! I have backups of all my artwork, so just neomail me which picture you'd like and I'll put it up in the pick-up section.
