A Brief Introduction
The Moon is in synchronous rotation, which means it rotates about its axis in about the same time it takes to orbit the Earth. This results in it keeping nearly the same face turned towards the Earth at all times.
A healthy fascination with the heavens. That's what Arie Dove (now called Sceanery) possessed in his former life. But after the death of his precious daughter, his stargazing hobby grew into a startling obsession. Inevitably, there came a day when Arie's spiritual being joined the celestial skies, and he became part of the nighttime scenery.
Myself
My name is Melody, but on this site I go by Dezzi to hide my true identity (much like Sceanery chose to hide his through the use of a pseudonym). In one sentence I have already revealed more to you than I have to most people on this site.

What brings me to this site?
In or around 2003, I found neo. Or rather it seems, as I don't remember how it happened, neo found me. I was hooked. Except for a four year hiatus during high school - a time when reality spins so fast it becomes more interesting than my imaginings. However, long days of freedom during my freshman year of college beckoned me back to my childhood dreams, and here I am.
Am I an active user?
I'm online at least once a day to do daily things, but usually for hours on end, as I get wrapped up in so many character ideas/customizations for my pets... usually in the place of studying for college xD The creative aspect of this site continually draws me in.
What are my accounts like?
I have five accounts, of which I try to treat equally. The pets on my main are in no way privileged over the others ... except they get to do Underwater Fishing. (I believe a few of my side account pets are envious of this and are planning to stage a rebellion). Since my mind tends to connect things into plots or story lines, I have drawn up a literal map of my accounts, tying them all together. What is Sceanery to me?
Sceanery (or Arie as I like to refer to him), is a much-wanted pet of mine. I think UC Grey Lupes are especially appealing in their artwork. More than that, Arie is a name. My perma-labbie, Nirp, is the one sporting Arie's future lookup. Don't tell Nirp, but it would look much better on Arie.

Life with me
When it comes to my characters, customizations are key. It may not look like I value customization when browsing my accounts, but that's because you've caught me in a rather transitional period. Many of my plans are currently underway rather than complete. That does not mean that I have wishes that will never come to pass. I don't set goals unless I intend to meet them.
An example of this was on June 1, 2011. I set the date to morph/paint all of my pets. I kept my hands off my gallery until that day, and after about a year of hardcore saving, it was well worth the wait.
Since then, I've revamped things a bit. I've downsized and upsized, moved things around, and further-developed some characters. (To see an overview of my journey, visit this page).
My "look" for Arie will be as follows:
I'm very excited about Arie's customization. It looks quite eerie when in motion and very fitting with little Saffron (RIP) gently stroking the back of his neck. I am currently seeking the last NC item to complete this customization (as you can see on my NC Tradelist here). I already purchased the Cover of Darkness Foreground and traded for the Dusk to Dawn BG and the RIP Garland, as you can see in my gallery under Wearables Safe Keeping.

Meet Star, the lovely feline of late.
Star was Arie and Saffron's pet cat, but sadly, she perished along with Saffron in the fire that took everything that Arie held near and dear to his heart. Strangely, Dee the lady bug (who took a liking to Saffron's tiny finger) survived. Arie clings to Dee as if she is worth more than anything he owns.

My group
With 18 residents, it's a full house on Pavo Island. Please feel free to get acquainted with the residents here. On this page you will get a very good idea of what has been in my head. Character development, final customization and paint plans, etc. It may be of interest to you that I am trasnferring Crushifer to a side (I purchased a Pirate Lutari MP to make this transition more...possible xD and it is sitting in my gallery under Wearables Safe Keeping). Therefore, Sceanery would take the fourth slot on my main account with Ben, Designer and Rattle.

The french salutation above means "seeing you again would be a pleasure". Even though Arie was forced to say Adieu to Saffron and Star, I hope that this is not goodbye forever. Please know that Arie would have a special place on Pavo Island and in the storyfolds of my mind. He would be a character not soon forgotten. One who came face to face with death and reminds me that life is fragile and oh so short.
