We have a few simple rules, as do all guilds. We do ask that you follow all of them to the best of your ability. They're simple to remember, so following them will be a snap! We've also created an acronymn for you to remember them... its PAFTLiST. Simple, right? The i in PAFTLiST doesn't stand for anything except that I need to follow all these rules. So what do the words mean? Well...

Plagiarize

Do not plagiarize/copy/steal/borrow/get overly inspired with anyone else's work. Whatever you want to call it, its still stealing. This is not tolerated by Achromatic. If you are caught and found break this "golden" rule you will be deleted from the guild. And reported. This is the worst thing you can do in the guild. And in the art world. That's just wrong. If you are inspired by someone's work of art, credit should be given when needed, not stolen.

Activeness

Do remain active. We ask that you keep an active place in the guild. Not coming on every day is fine, but not coming on for a week or more is not fine. We want to know why you've disappeared if you're gone for a long time. If you don't notify us we'll think you just lost interest and delete you from the guild. If you lost internet connection or something and we delete you, feel free to message Draven back asking for a re-invite.

Friendliness

Do be friendly and courteous to all members. Treat them all just as you would like to be treated. No one likes someone who is rude all the time, so we ask that you're polite and friendly to everyone. This is common sense, though.

TNT

Follow all of TNTs rules. We are hosted by neopets, which means that all of TNTs rules must be followed. We can't go around breaking them. Since you know... they host us.

Literacy

Do remain literate. We ask that you keep a high level of literacy. This is an artistic guild and chatspeak will not be tolerated. Brbs and lols are okay once in a while as long as they don't become an every post thing. Smileys are definately okay! But the use of all lowercase and all uppercase is not. You can however use uppercase when expressing an emotion. But please DON'T TYPE LIKE THIS.

Spam

Do not spam the board. Yes, we would love to know all about your day at school, but there's no need to post the same message twice or repeat words such as "Hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello hello Draven!" We understand your computer does have problems and so does neo and that your post will go through multiple times sometimes, but we ask its not a constant occurrence.

Tolerated

THIS IS NOT TOLERATED. Do not bash anyone's religion, race, gender, ethnicity... Okay, this rule is simple. Don't make fun of anyone else. Why would you? Its common sense. We also ask that you don't try and convert people to your religion. That can get pretty annoying and it makes us not want to talk to you sometimes. So please, no religious talks either.

At Achromatic you are required to have a portfolio. Why? To post your work easier. That way you don't have to find a blank petpage, or somewhere on one of your used petpages for a picture or a story. Or attempt to post an epic story on the message boards. Now you can showcase your work, and set aside a whole petpage dedicated to the guild. And now Draven or anyone else can easily find your story or picture that you submitted for a contest or that you wanted them to see.

Portfolios don't have to have a layout you made by yourself. They can be a premade layout or no layout at all! It doesn't matter. They just need to be neat. Stray away from "drag and drop" images.

You can also earn neat little buttons to put on your portfolio or your userlookup that show your different guild achievements. Because we love for you to showcase your achievements!

What are buttons?

Buttons are little pieces of flair that you earn by meeting different accomplishments in the guild (They are 88x31 badge size). For example, lets say there is a button for being awesome. Once you prove your epic awesomeness Draven will message you giving you permission to add the "EPIC AWESOME" button to your portfolio, userlookup or where ever you want it added.

Underpainting

Congratulations! You just joined the guild.

Armature

To make it to this rank you must have done something for the guild. Whether its hosting a page, competing in a contest, or advertising... it all counts as helping out in the guild. You must also have posted 100+ non-spam posts on the message board.

Ink Well

To move to this rank you must have posted 500+ non-spam posts on the message board. You must have also entered at least 2 contests/activities/art exchange or hosted one page and recruited 1 member.

Lithograph

To move to this rank you must have posted 700+ posts, hosted a page, competed in 3 competitions/activities/art exchange and recruited at least 2 members.

Composition

This is the final rank before council. To make it to this rank you need to have posted 1000+ posts, hosted atleast 2 pages, recruited atleast 4 members, and competed in 4 competitions/activities/art exchange.

Getting on Council

There's no specific way to get on council. But I'll tell you what I do look for in council members. I look for activeness and dedication. Someone who runs many pages and contributes in various ways to the guild. Someone who follows all rules, is nice, and a good leader. Things like that are always a plus. You also must reach the rank of composition before considered for council.

At Achromatic we do have teams. Our teams aren't art based, but are rather team-based. Meaning that artists of all sorts will be on the teams. How does this work? Well we have 3 teams, Team Ra, Team Isis, and Team Anubis. To join a team you take a simple placement test that places you in a team. That way the teams are balanced and no one is joining based on specific reasons. Simple, right?
