Welcome to Caitlin's Lending, an avatar lending agency by Caitlin! I, Caitlin, have made it my mission to help others achieve their avatar goals and so I am lending out avatar pets and items.
Though unnecessary, you can donate an avatar item, pet, neopoints or items of value if you like. THIS is a list of items/pets I still need in particular. Any contributions are most welcome and appreciated.
If you'd like a pet or item lend, then ensure you read the rules and requirements before you submit an application form.

Not many pets are adoptable by accounts under 4 months. The pets with the bow () next to their name means they ARE adoptable by accounts under 4 months.
The 'est. cost' next to each pet is the estimated cost to adopt the pet from the pound. Keep in mind this is only an estimation and have at least 1500NP on you just in case.
Do not pound or transfer my pet to anyone but me. If you're in a transfer chain, then only TRANSFER the pet on to the next person. You are NOT ALLOWED to pound. If we're doing a pound lend, do not transfer the pet back to me. It must be through a pound lend.
Do not feed*, train, paint, morph, zap, play with or battle with my pet.
Do not detach or re-name my petpets. I don't care if they are not avatar pets. Do not touch them!
Do not leave my pet as your active if it's not necessary. If it is, do what you need to do to get the avatar and immediately change your active pet to one of yours.
If you've never been lent before (via pound or transfer or both) read kreepyjess's guide before you even approach me about pet lending.
I am not obligated to lend you. I may reject your application for whatever reason. Whether I lend you or not depends on whether you meet my avatar count requirements and what else your account looks like.
I only transfer/pound lend to sides that meet my avatar requirements. No exceptions will be made for this. However, if it is your main and you do not quite meet my avatar requirements ask for an exception in the Other section.
I lend via pound and transfers. I will only pound lend you my pets if you have had ample experience (have been lent several avatar pets through the pound). I will ask for references and vouchers if I want. If you're applying for a pound lend, I do list the estimated pound adoption cost, but since this cost is ever changing ensure you have at least 1000 NP out and ready. Don't bother applying for a pound lend if you have a slow internet connection or one that fails.
Ensure that you are able to repound back the day you are lent (if pound lending) or that you have at least one incoming and one outgoing transfer for the month in which you want to be lent (if transfer lending) for each pet.
Don't neomail me asking to be lent something that is not already on my page.
When I lend you a pet, you will inevitably know the pet's name and possibly also the account it came from. Please do not tell people the name's of my pets or the accounts they live on. This lessens the chance of a pet being pound sniped and makes it impossible for people to neomail my side accounts. I only want neomails to my main, so the names of my pets and side accounts must remain confidential.
To show that you have read my rules, remove the parenthesis (brackets) in the application form. It makes for a shorter and neater application too. Failure to do this on the form counts as having not read the rules and your application will be deleted without notification.
Know how to get whatever avatar/s you are applying to be lent. I will not reply to neomails that ask me about how to get the avatar. Read the relevant information on this petpage if you're not sure how to get the avatar.
Don't apply for a lend with my agency if you have applied for one elsewhere. If I go to lend you and you already have the avatar, you've wasted my time and you will be blacklisted.
Don't scam me or lose my pet! By filling out an application form you are giving me express permission to put you on my public blacklist and allowing me to report you to TNT if you scam me or lose my pet in the pound. The consequences of you breaching the rules depends whether you scam me or whether you accidentally lose my pet in the pound. By submitting an application form, you are also giving me permission to screenie our lends for whatever reason.

Ensure you follow Neopets' Terms and Conditions and Chat Rules. This is so that you do not get frozen or silenced while holding my pet. Also, do not self-ice with my pet!
*In lends, like my Pink pet, I understand that you need to feed my pet to get the avatar, but please don't feed them anything else.
NOTE: Anyone claiming to be me that does not mail you from hi_caitlin09 is not me. I will only ever mail you from that account (my main).If you have not read all my rules and/or do not wholeheartedly agree with them then don't bother to send in an application form. If you breach any of my rules, I won't even read your application. I'll delete it straight away.
Once I've accepted your transfer lend application, I'll assign you a lend date. Trusting you already know how a chain lend works this is how my own particular process goes.
Firstly, here are 3 key tips: Mail me 3 days before your assigned lend date to confirm. Ensure you have 3 pets or less on your account and log on daily. If you have failed to follow these 3 simple tips you will be skipped.
1. Once you receive the pet, mail me and let me know so I know where the chain is up to.
2. Once you've mailed me, mail the next person in the chain to ensure they are available to accept the pet the next day. If they don't, then move on to the person after them. If their status isn't "Under one day ago", then don't even bother and move on to the next person in the chain.
3. Get on as close to 12 am NST as possible on the day you're supposed to transfer the pet to the next person. Copy and paste their username to ensure there are no mistakes.
Your job is done. They will then mail me to let me know they have receieved the pet and you can enjoy your new avatar courtesy of Caitlin's Lending!
NOTE: As I want to keep my side accounts secret, I will not add my account to the lending lists and will mail the last person on the list for that month the name of the side account at which I want the pet.
1. Once I've accepted your pound lend application and we're both on at the same time, I'll give you the pet's name and a pound time, awaiting your neomail confirmation of that time.
2. Once you've confirmed the time and its one minute before the pound time, go to the Neopian Pound. Click on the 'Adopt' door. Copy and paste the pet name I gave you into the search bar above the pets section labelled 'Search Abandoned Neopets by Name:' and click enter. It'll say No abandoned Neopets were found with that name which is correct as I have not yet pounded the pet.
3. After copy and pasting the name, stay on that page and watch the Neo-clock. It's important that you do not get distracted or leave that page. As soon as it hits the agreed upon pound time, refresh your page. The pet should show up and you can adopt. If the pet doesn't show up, keep refreshing the page until it does. Pets are sometimes, but not often, pounded a little slow because Neopets is lagging, etc.
4. Once you have caught the pet and gotten the avatar, I will mail you a re-pound time and you must reply to confirm again. Then at the agreed upon time you pound the pet back to me. Simple as that. You must be able to repound the day I lend you though!

I lend all avatar items up to Faerie Queen Doll but have not listed some of the cheaper and easier to obtain items that I lend as they are relatively easy to achieve yourself. If for whatever reason you do need to be lent one or some of these cheaper items, feel free to still fill out the form with the details. To see all the items I lend, go to my gallery.
You must have over 100 avatars. This is not negotiable.
Have 49 items in your inventory, or in cases where I am lending you more then one item eg. Codestones - then have 40 items in your inventory. This is so that once you have the item/s I'm lending you, you will have 50 items in your inventory. Having 50 items in your inventory helps to prevent random events from stealing my avatar items.
I lend my avatar items partial/half/full collateral depending on the person, their account and what item it is. I accept pure and ETS (easy-to-sell) collateral easily or an overpay in HTS (hard-to-sell) collateral. If you have full collateral then don't give me less then that. Full collateral almost guarantees you to be lent.
Don't waste my time! If you can easily afford the avatar item you want to be lent then don't ask to be lent just because you're too lazy to buy the item and then sell it yourself.

I like quick lends and I expect my item/s back ASAP. If you do not return my item quickly or when I ask, I will add you to my blacklist and/or report you, depending on your transgression.

How did Caitlin's Lending start?
I've wanted to open my own avatar lending agency for a while now as I know how hard collecting avatars can be and if I can take some burden off your shoulders then I will. Avatar collecting can be monotonous, time-consuming and expensive, but is also one of the best parts of Neopets. The competition and goals you set for yourself are fun. I get a sense of satisfaction by making people happy and helping them. I also think everyone deserves to have fun so I'm trying to help you in what little way I can by doing this.
How do I fill out your application form for a pet/item lend?
It's pretty self-explanatory. Just fill in your details and where necessary answer my questions truthfully. Don't lie because I will check your account. The prompts in the brackets must be deleted. They are there to help you. I don't need to read my own prompts. In the 'Others' section, you can tell me any other information you think will improve your chances of lending eg. have I lent you before?, vouchers, any notable avatars etc. If you do not meet my avatar requirements for a lend, then please write this in the 'Others' section too. Try to keep your answers simple and prompt where possible eg. when I ask you how many avatars you have, just give me an exact number. Don't ramble on about how your horrible at games or you are trying to get more. Keep the application short and simple so it's easier for you to write and easier for me to read. This will also ensure that your application does not exceed word limit and means my inbox or topic on the Neoboards will be less clogged.
How can I improve my chances of being lent?
Besides improving your avatar count and lending experience, there are many factors I consider when lending a person. Some of these things that you could work on include: games played, stamps, site themes, trophies, habitarium level, shop and gallery size, nice font, nice userlookup, nice pets etc. These factors make an account more trustworthy and lendable to lenders and are something you can easily work on.
How many transfers does my account receive each month?
When making an account with Neopets, your account automatically receives 1 user-to-user transfer per month. You get an extra pound transfer (in and out) for each 2 years (24 months) of membership with Neopets.
1 - 23 months: 1 user-to-user transfer
24 - 47 months: 2 user-to-user transfers
48 - 71 months: 3 user-to-user transfers
72 - 95 months: 4 user-to-user transfers
96 - 119 months: 5 user-to-user transfers
120 + months: 6 user-to-user transfers

What does user-to-user transfer mean?
A user-to-user transfer is the number of transfers an account receives each month. Eg. if your account is 30 months old, you will receieve 2 transfers per month. This means you have 2 incoming (someone sends a pet to you) and 2 outgoing (you send a pet out to someone) transfers per month.
My account is under 4 months old. What does this mean?
Because your account is so young it is restricted from adopting certain pets. Accounts under 4 months old can't adopt any Limited Edition or Restricted species of pet, pets level 3 and above and most paintbrush coloured pets.
So, my account is under 4 months old. What pets CAN I be lent from your agency?
My Mazzew and Slorg pet are both adoptable by under 4 months accounts.
What does 'ample experience' with pound lends mean exactly?
I consider ample experience with pound lends to mean that you have been pound lent at least 3 pets successfully where someone has given you a time and you have caught the pet.
How much does it cost to be lent?
Why haven't you responded to my lend application?
I reply to all properly filled out applications. If I have not replied to you within 3 days of you submitting your application then chances are that you didn't read my rules properly and I've deleted it.
When can you pound lend me?
Note that I am not on Neopets 24 hours a day. My active hours during the weekdays due to my timezone are 12 am NST until 6 am NST. I can afford to be more lenient on the weekends. Please be patient with me if we struggle to find a time we're both on Neopets to do a pound lend. I'll try my best to accomodate you, but I do have real life to attend to.
How can I help?
As I said on the home page, donations and payments are absolutely unnecessary. If you however would like to donate a pet or item to my agency or neopoints for me to buy a pet or item, I won't say no. You can see the pets and items I still need to complete my lending agency here. While unnecessary, any donations would be most appreciated.
