[About Me] [Meet the Family] [My Past] [Odds & Ends] [Aisha Adoptables]

Hey there, I'm Sayi. This is my petpage. You can look at it. But no sticky paws/talons/claws/hands- I did this all by myself. With a little help from Steph, but y'know, she only thinks she's helping. She isn't really. D:

about
me.

Errr. Well. First off, you should know that my name is Sayi, or Sayikki. I was born in the Lost Desert, and I'm a princess of Qasala. Which is most definitely, the aspect of myself I hate the most. I mean really, who wants to sit around on a throne all day and blabber about problems with the world. No thanks. Now maybe you're thinking, "But Qasala is a dead, almost ruined city! How can this be?" Well, maybe you know that a long way back, Qasala was a prosperous city. And so, I came to be a great-great-granddaughter of a Qasala king. Terrible, isn't it? I'd like to really live my life, y'know? Get to do stuff, see things, go places, be right in the center of it all. Anyway. I've had the weirdest past you could possibly think of, and I have no aisha siblings I know of, other than that nice skunk aisha Steph owns, Meagenn. Errr. Both parents deceased. Not the greatest thought. Visiting Sakhmet is so one of the top things to do on my list, it's so great to really be in the hustle and bustle of a big city. Right now, it's still kind of in a bad position because of the recent war...solikeyeah.

meet
the family.

Okay. If I listed all my other siblings, you'd probably be dead.=O So, I'll just list the pets on this account.

Aulyn
How do I say this? Lyn is different from the rest of us. A lot of times she'll lock her room and just sit there. The flames on her are lime green, as a result of a terrible accident in her past...she doesn't like to talk about it. Of course, she's nice enough to people, but sometimes she looks truly depressed.

Devre
This is Dev. Dev is usually very quiet, and prefers to be alone. She doesn't mind company, but says she's more comfortable on her own. She's always very polite, and somewhat secretive.

Sayikki(Me!)
Meeeee! Yay! I'm rebellious. Hahaha.

Zioqei
Zio's just like me, except maybe a little more extreme. He's a daredevil, and he's never one to turn down a challenge. He's also never one to think before he does something dumb. o.x

my
past.

My breath came in short gasps. Traveling was harder than I could have imagined. My dumb princess upbringing, learning how to hold cutlery and hold yourself straight as a rod, was definitely no preperation for this. But after all- hadn't I made this choice? Hadn't I wanted to escape from the monotony of my life? Hadn't I wanted to live my life in the fullest way possible? Yes. I had. And I will. I am Sayikki, princess of Qasala, and this is my story.

It was dark. I had chosen to escape in late night when Amira and her guards were asleep. Yes, Queen Amira. I had been placed with her when they found me, a tired, dehydrated desert aisha resting in the shade of a broken down house in Qasala. They recognized my golden jewelry, my sky blue eyes, and so they took me. They brought me to Amira, and she took me in. After just one months of living in her, I felt like I would go insane. Sure, she was nice to me, gave me nice things to eat, nice things to do, but the monotony...I felt tired of life itself. So, I planned my escape.

It wasn't hard- I merely spent the afternoon packing a few essential belongings into a small pack, took a short snooze, and was ready. I lowered my rope out of the window, after securely tying it to my bedpost, and rappelled out of my room, onto the guard's path on the walls. The basic way of escaping. I had carefully thought out and taken special care with this next move, however. I slowly snuck on the wall path, trying to reach the tiny flight of stairs around the back of the castle that goes down to the ground. I had almost reached it when loud voiced startled me. The night guards! I peered around the corner of the pathway's walls, and seeing no one, I made a dash towards the stairs. Thumping footsteps and deafening shouts reached me, and I knew my escape was now known. I scrambled out of the palace grounds, and hid in a broken-down food stall. I quickly hid myself behind the crates of Tchea fruit and Ummagine, heart pounding as loud as the THUMP, THUMP of the guard Tonu's feet. I only chanced to look up when the noise had faded completely. The dusty roads were once more empty. I buried my face in my paws. Now they'd send the guards after me. Well, at least I was safe enough here, with a shelter and plenty of only slightly old food. I felt myself slowly drifting off to sleep, and although I fought to stay awake, my eyelids closed and a deep, contented sigh rose from me as I slipped into a dream...

I woke abruptly. It was early morning, and luckily no one was on the streets. I stuffed what remained of the fruits and bread into my pack, and scurried out onto the road.

I'm not sure how long I walked. Days? Weeks? I had exited the Lost Desert, gone through the Haunted Woods, and now here I was, staring at Neopia Central. I dumped my quaking frame upon a nearby bench. All my food, water, and neopoints were gone. The world spun dizzyingly before me. I clutched onto the armrest of the bench for support. I clenched my eyes shut, taking deep breaths. A fit of coughing reduced me to slumping on the bench. I groaned. I slowly sat up, and tried to get up and find water. But then suddenly the ground was getting higher and higher- or was I falling?- and then all was dark.

Voices, voices. Thumping of feet- or paws?- on the ground. More talking. I blearily opened my eyes. A starry aisha was anxiously bending over me. "Hey- hey Steph!" called the aisha. "She's awake!" A human girl hurried over to me. I tried to speak, to say something, but my throat burned painfully. She murmured something to the starry aisha. The aisha nodded, jumped up and scurried back with a cup full of some gross looking red liquid. I waved my paw weakly, trying to refuse, but the girl opened my mouth and poured the stuff in. Strangely, my throat felt better. She gave me water, and I slurped it down thankfully. I slipped into a dreamless, blissful sleep.

When I awoke again, I felt good enough to talk. This time, a white aisha was sitting by my bed, although she looked ready to doze off too. However, her ice blue eyes snapped open when she saw me awake. She motioned to the human girl, and the girl hurried over to my bedside. With her she brought the starry aisha from earlier, and a fire aisha. She examined me. "How do you feel?" she asked.

Better," I replied. "Thank you for helping me.

She smiled. "It was only the right thing to do. When I saw you lying by the road there, I had to help you.

What's your name?" I asked.

I'm called Steph, and these are my aishas. The starry one is Playwrights, or Wri, this white one here is Kirneii, or Kir, and in the back there, the fire aisha, she's Aulyn, or Lyn." She paused, and looked curiously at me. "And who might you be?" she questioned.

My name is Sayikki," I stated simply.

Sayikki..." the human girl said. "That's a very pretty name. But tell me Sayikki, how did you come to be by the side of the street like that?

I paused, unsure of whether I should tell Steph the truth. I decided that she was trustworthy. "You might not believe it, but this is what happened..." And so I unfolded the story of my escape. Her eyes widened, and when I was done, she sat silently for a moment.

Well, Sayikki, do you know where you want to go? Do you have a specific destination in mind?" Steph asked.

I silently shook my head. "I was just going away," I replied. "Why?

If you wanted to stay with us, here, we would love that...of course, we understand if you don't want to," she added quickly.

I looked into Steph's hopeful faces, and at each of the aishas in turn. "I'd love to."

odds
&ends.

It's a picture by Steph. Of me. Hooray.

aisha
adoptables.

Steph made some aisha adoptables for you to take home.
They're makeables, so just copy&paste the image onto your graphics programs and color it in.
Then, save it to your image server.
Replace Steph's image link with your image link and put it on your petpage.
Simple, eh?

1. Don't you dare enter these in the Beauty Contest/Art Gallery (like they'd ever win.)
2. Don't you dare remove Steph's username from them- she'll go insane.
3. Ummm...that's it. Steph just wanted to have a third rule because three is supposedly a magic number.

//Version 1
Yes, I know it's pixelly. Steph was too lazy at that time to go and make it pretty. o.x

//Version 2
This one is somewhat less pixelly, and much bigger.

//Version 3
A sleeping aisha. This one is also rather big.

Well, you've reached the end of the petpage. Nothing more to say.
That's all, folks.
