Introduction

Wow...You think. You stare up at the small airplane that you're going to be allowed to enter, fly...and pilot!
Excitement bubbles through your veins as you clamor up into the cockpit and settle down into the plush seat. Large earphones hang on the side of the cockpit's door; you grab them and jam them onto your head and over your ears, adjusting the small microphone mouthpiece so it's positioned directly in front of your mouth.
Dials, switches, and gauges are spread out in front of you, blinking, flashing, and activating, ready for take-off. What looks like a mixture of a throttle and steering wheel serves as a control for maneuvering the airplane through the air. Anticipation grows and grows within you as you wait for the signal.
The crew men step away from the aircraft and salute to you--you return the gesture and strap on the heavy-duty seatbelt for protection. Smiling as the cockpit's glass roof slides over your head and locks in place, you flip a few switches, press a couple of buttons, and push on the gas to start forward.
You begin to gain speed until the end of the runway can be seen. Slowly, you pull the throttle-steering wheel back and watch as the nose of the plane begins to point upward. In a few seconds, you're in the air!
You quietly look over the side and gasp. Already, the ground is far beneath you; the gauges read that you are at a very high altitude. You grip the throttle-steering wheel tightly, realizing your hands are clammy and sweaty.
You suddenly hear a whoosh sound to the right of the aircraft, and you turn your head. You stare, your mouth agape, at the figure floating beside the plane.
You catch a fleeting glance of what the figure looks like--a wolf, it seems. With its orange fur, it looks like a streak with bright, yellow eyes. Rings--Saturn rings, you realize--encircle the wolf's neck and tail loosely, holding small chunks of rock around them. The wolf's paws have white, flame-looking socks. You blink your eyes quickly, and the wolf is gone.
A scraping noise sounds from behind you. You quickly put the plane on auto-pilot and swerve around in your seat. The wolf stares back at you. "Hello, sir." The wolf growls.
You startled for two reason--the wolf actually talked to you and the fact that the wolf is male. "Hello..." You squeak quietly.
The wolf looks around the cockpit and turns back to you. "It seems you like the air."
You nod your head fiercely. "I do."
The wolf sits down and wraps his tail around his paws. "Would you like to hear a story while you pilot this flying bird?" Again, you nod eagerly. "Then, let's begin..."

Story

Wolves sometimes ask this question...and most of the time, I can't reply. Why, you might ask? Well, I have some memory loss. Ever since that bloody rock hit me in the head in space!
A rock hit you in the head!? You might exclaim. Yes, more like a chunk of meteor hit me in the head, knocking my memory out of existance. I remember bits and pieces, but the whole story of my childhood is basically a blank sheet--an empty planet you could say.
I don't remember much about my years with my family--oh, wait, did I have a family? I-I-I don't remember, unfortunately...*shakes head woefully* Who knows? I might have had a brother or a sister. I might have had parents that loved and cared about me! But, I know I had a mother...
How? I know that--wherever I came from--when a mother says good-bye, she plants a stone upon your head...almost like a token. I don't really understand it myself, so explaining it is extremely difficult...

My Past

Like I said before, I only remember bits and pieces of my past. I only strung together enough of these fragments to come up with a brief idea of my life before the rock hit. (I don't have memory loss completely--I just don't remember anything from the time before the incident with the meteor. I remember everything now...)
I do know that I have a mother and father--I remember catching a glimpse of them as we were sucked from our home and into a blackhole. Yes, you heard right...a blackhole. Let's go back to the beginning.
I know we lived somewhere...on a planet different from here. We lived nicely and peacefully, until the blackhole occured, changing everything. Every living thing was sucked out of existance by that blackhole...all except me.
I remember that big hole looming in front of me, and my parents flanked my sides. My mother embedded the gem on my forehead and was pulled, with my father, into the hole. Fortunately, I survived. For some reason, I avoided the hole entirely...
Then, I was hit with the meteor chunk and everything went blank and dark. I woke up knowing nothing of what had occured, other than my name and who I was.
I'm sorry to say that is all I know about my past before the incident. I really wish I could recall more...

About Me

I have no home at the moment, but I am hoping to find one with the comfort of others like me. I know that might not be possible, since I might be one of a kind, but you never know. I've met some pretty unusual wolves in my time.
My personality is composed of a few key elements. I am quite shy, quiet mostly, and mysterious, yet I am curious all the same. I like to find out things quickly, or else I become very impatient if I don't. Hehe...
The reason for my strange, flame-looking socks on my paws is because of one thing--while I was floating around in space, I was hit by some shooting stars before my memory was lost. They got into my eyes, unto which they gained their yellowish color, and scorched my paws, leaving them the way they are now... Wolf name: Sautin
