Here you will find ghosts and fiends.
Creatures from your darkest imaginations.
Nightmares and screams, terrors incarnate.

Should you be lucky, Liun will be keeping such monsters firmly under his control. But His minions cry for amusement. Pray that that is not what you will become here.
Read on at your own risk.

The echo of the clock tower bell chimes could be heard throughout the night air. Despite the noise, the inhabitants of the small town remained in their deep sleep, untroubled in their innocent dreams. Safe and calm in their beds, perhaps children stories of Hallows Eve still fresh in their minds from earlier in the day.

But while the world slept in its peaceful serenity,
Another creature was stirring.
A creature, with a very different intention for the night.

A balled up monster shifted in a dark room of an abandoned castle, awaking for the first time in what felt like an eternity.
Wings slowly protruded from the shady form, stretching slowly from the collapsed creature to their full enormous width, the dark royal purple skin that stretched between the bones was noticeably tattered though from what exactly, no one could tell.
The dust from them shifted and fell, floating gently back upon the creature or being taken with the small breeze that came from the single window in the room.

Next came the long tail that coiled around the beast, unravelling itself and making restless strikes at the midnight air around it. It was long and strong, and covered with sleek galaxy purple feathers that were, like the rest of him, covered in the same dust like substance that seemed to have simply collected with time.
In its slow movement it managed to strike against the giant weight next to the creature, causing a dull thud to be heard through the bell chimes that were still on their long count to twelve.

This noise appeared to be of more interested to the creature that raised its long head to inspect the heavy ball, it's eyes following the chain connected to it that followed to the collar around his neck.

However a mischievous smirk soon spread across the monsters face, the smile obvious between its harsh beak and below its glowing, malevolent red eyes. He knew why he was awake and suddenly he became very aware of the chiming bells, of the box his eyes could spot in the opposite corner of the room. It called to him. The night called for him. The very clock that called for his release seemed to be inviting him out.

Seven
Eight.

The clock continued and the beast became impatient with pure excitement. Climbing to its feet, it's giant claws scraping the concrete floors, the chains around his neck rattling as he moved.

Nine.
Ten.

The creature lunged for the turquoise box, held back by the weight and chain. A monstrous squawking roar erupted from the frustrated fiend. The dust was swelling around him, as he pulled against his chains, falling from his feathers and from his long purple and red main that trailed down his back.

Eleven.
Twelve.

The chains fell from the collar as if broken by a spell.
The box appearing in his claws.
The bars gone from the -blocked-
Midnight. Hallows Eve. And the world wanted the king of Halloween to come out and play.

Come, Liun. Show us some Nightmares.

Body Colours: Galaxy purple feathers on his main body, Blue shorter feathers on his belly and face.

Description: Tall and lean. Medium length horns that are pointed back. Large tattered wings and long dangerous tail. Thick spiky collar connected to a ball and chain. Long purple and red main that trails down his back and ends between his wings. Three claws on each hand. Strong beak and feet with even larger claws than those on his hands. Seen holding a box that seems to contain something ominous.

Personality: Rare and often hidden from the world, the monster called Liun is completely untraceable until Halloween. He appears to awaken at exactly midnight.
His roar can be heard for miles, and it strikes fear into all who are unfortunate enough to hear it. It is said to be so terrifying that it allows ghosts and ghouls to enter into your very dreams.
Saliunius appears to possess a strange box of horrors, that has only ever been viewed at distance by anyone other than Liun himself. No one knows where this box came from or why the demons in it seem to obey Liun's commands.
However scary, the creature has yet to ever cause any physical harm. He seems to take to the skies on Hallows Eve night and spread his terror, and then disappear again as the sun starts to rise.
He is the master of fright. The keeper of ghouls.
The king of Halloween.



CHARACTER DESIGN



Now you may be looking at this monster and wondering how he relates to a Darigan Bruce. Well, let me start from the beginning.

This design for Liun is very strict to the UC Darigan Bruce artwork. It stays true to a lot of the forms lost in the converted version, such as the bigger legs, larger feet, longer tail and claws on his hands. All of which I included, if not amplified moderately.
The Unconverted Bruce artwork also features a longer leaner body, of which I exaggerated slightly, and then thought it only aesthetically pleasing to do the same with the neck and head. Otherwise he would have had a chubby head on a lean body :P

I also took the original Bruce red fur above the eyes and brought it down into a mane that i created. The horns and wings are only slight additions to help create a means for Liun to move, for surely the spreader of nightmares couldn't walk around doing such a duty, and to help keep the theme of random greys in his design constant.
I have also stayed very true to the original Bruce colours. In fact, almost all the colours used were taken from the art work and only changed with varying opacities of black and white to add shading and highlights.

While I strive my best to create unique characters for my pets, I ensure the entire time that they are still true to their original art work. That their personalities and designs are only influenced by them, and not by outside sways. It is my honest way of making sure that all I do for them, is actually for them, and not for a completely different idea i'm just attaching their names to.

I've actually completed a set of Bruce adoptables before but they all have my old account's name on them. I did manage to start a new set, but haven't finished them yet.
