Anna's font help page
Hey! I'm (guess!) Anna! This is my font help page. Why did I do this page? Well, I wanted to do something to help all the people on neopets. I STINK at layouts and stuff like that. I used to get premade fonts, but one day I tried my own, experimented, and was like, WOW! So... have fun following these steps on making fonts, use some of my premades, and have more fun! That's what it's really about (and helping people). Thanks for visiting!
Making fonts is a lot like doing graphics. They have a lot of the same codes. with graphics you use brackets but with fonts you use [. Well, I hope my steps help!
The Rules
Yes, I have rules!
~If you take my premade fonts you don't have to credit me, but DO NOT ever say that you made them (it's ok to take my fonts and edit them, but don't say that you and only you made them)
~Don't copy any of my steps word by word because I worked hard to make this site. It's ok if you make a site like mine, but if you're doing anything that can be recognized as mine then STOP
~ENJOY!
Font help
Ok, let's start with the basics!
The things in ( ) 's are not part of the coding and leave out the spaces.
Step 1 when making fonts: REMEMBER THESE THINGS! The coding for starting the fonts start with this-[ center ]. What this does is center your fonts. It's not manditory, but it makes it more attractive. Then do this- [ font c = (i.e. black) ]. Then put in text that you want (BEFORE your neoHTML). There are many petpages that have the neopets color codes that you can put in place of my "black". Just google, neopets color codes and look for a petpage. After you do that you can put your text that you want before the neoHTML. If you want your font bold then before the text put, [ b ] and after it put [ / b ]. Same thing with italic and underline. After your font put [ / font ]. You can do the same thing over if you want different colors of font in front of your neoHTML. Then (unless you want this text to be right next to you neoHTML) put, [ br ]. Next you have to do your neoHTML. Do the same thing I taught you with the font thing above, but in place of the text put, neoHTML. When you're done with all that stuff (and if you're centering your font) put [ / center ].
Now you move on to your siggy. Do the same thing you did for your neoHTML, just leave out the neoHTML part.
Hope you got all that and you aren't bored to death!
How to...
- Make your font small~
do this code-[ sub ] text [ / sub ]
- Change your font style~
Use this code and fill tahoma with your font style [ fontc = #B0C4DEf = tahomas = 5(the five is the size of the font) ] text [ / font ]
- Make wingdings~
Well, you do the same thing as styles except the wingdings is your style. Like this: [ fontc = #B0C4DEf = wingdingss = 5 ] Q (if you have an e-mail or a program with wingdings then try typing different letters and experimenting... or you can try sunny neo - in this case Q = an airplane) [ / font ]
Font Cheats
To get rid of the UGLY siggy line:
Put [ at the very end of your neoHTML section. Put ] at the very beginning of your siggy section. Thanks, corvair_owner for helping me out with this! =D
