I'm all for grays and blues, just look at Rave, but the shades you used are too dull. I suggest using brighter, but not blinding, shades of blue. The gray is a good, but play it up with brighter colors. The CSS is good. I like how all the headers have different color but keep the same style. The banner could use some work. I like the image but the text is a little hard to read. If your not all that great at making banners, request one from a good site. The welcome message is great. I love that you turned something in history into a site. The whole theme is awesome. The little history section is interesting. I'm always up for a history lesson. You've got a good amount of sites listed and the way everything is oraganized is great. I have one suggestion, run through your listings and recommend a few sites to your visitors. By recommending sites, it makes the search easier for your visitors. Overall, I think your site has potential. It isn't great yet, but with some work it will be. 7/10 Lime Hm... very... colorful... The background is interesting and the navigation is cool, but everything is entirely to colorful. It's really busy. With the layout being transparent and the background being dark, it's hard to read what's on your site. The CSS clashes with the layout. Again, too much color. I suggest simplifying things. Choose maybe two of three colors to use. It's really cool how everything is hidden until you hover over it. I've never seen anything like that before. You've got a lot going on and I like that. Overall you've got a good site, it just needs a simpiler color-scheme. 7/10 Innocent Words Reviews Okay. First thing I noticed was that your layout doesn't look good in Firefox. So I switched to IE and saw that it looked fine. You might have an open div tag, so check your coding. Hm... the sites a bit plain. Get a banner to spice things up a bit. One that will work well with your CSS. I really like the colors of the site, warm with pops of green to make it interesting. Shrink down your text areas so your link back section doesn't scroll sideways. If you don't know how to do this, check out my review site Eternal Mayhem. In the Tips section I show you how to shrink text areas. The background in the reviews is distracting and it doesn't match. Either replace it with one that matches or get rid of it. You're grading scale has it's unquie bits and I love that. You've got a good amount of reviews on your site and you definitely seem fair. Your site is great, but like every site, there's always room for improvement. Seeing as how you're a reviewer, I expect you should understand that very well. 7/10 Hello Fascination Abby! *glomps* Hi! XD You know I love all your sites! So putting all love for HF aside, I will be as unbiased as possible! The layout is very original and creative. I love how it's all divided up. And the site name is genious! ^.^ Kawaii! Everything is so cute! You do everything so well that it's hard to find fault in the site! XD I love that you have buttons to match the current layout. Plus there are tons more to choose from. Hm... even being completely unbiased you still managed to amaze me with your awesomness! Keep it up! I expect nothing but greatness from Hello Fascination. 10/10 Cutiies Dailies Looks a little plain. I think a banner would help your site attract more attention. I like the colors of the site, but the background doesn't really match your site name. I think something cute would be better. Your Toybox doesn't belong at the top of the sidebar. Move that down to the the bottom. That navigation should be at the very top of your sidebar, it makes more sense there. And the Affies banner is very distracting and it doens't match, just use a normal header. Move the Quests/Dailies to the main content. It would make more sense and be seen if it was after the welcome message. The transparency is kind of annoying and makes it hard to read everything. Make it a bit more opaque or completely opaque. Tha main content is nice and orgazined, nice work there. It's a nice site that just needs some work. 6/10 & The Cool Nice layout. I didn't get the site name, but then I read the site history and it all made sense. It's catchy and original. Love it! Okay! Fonts! Hm. There aren't that many. I love that they all have names, some(or all) coming from songs. I really love the "Medicate" one. I love that song! I suggest adding more fonts. I see you take requests and that's awesome. I know there are a lot of avatars, but at least try to add all the defaults. I'm currently trying to make fonts for my graphics site, since it also offers font requests. There are over 60 default avatars, I counted them all to know what I was getting myself into. I strongly encourage you to add more fonts. More content means more viewers.
