It's taking me so long to write this app because I can't stop staring at her. Well, I guess I'll get on with the rest of it. Oh, one more thing. Getting to adopt Ruiex would make me as happy as a bunch of dancing bananas.

If I am chosen, I, Kate , pledge to be the best owner I can be for my new Neopet, Ruiex . I understand all the sadness that she has already been through, and so I will provide everything she needs to be happy. I promise to be a friend to my new Neopet and never ever ever put her through the pain of neglect or abandonment again.

Plans

Hah! Of course I have plans for Ruiex. First, the petpet and petpetpet would be a maraquan snarhook and a jiggybug.

Her lookup would be the one located here. Her customization (if I were to adopt), fitting to the story I made is also there. I don't usually give my pets petpages, but that's because you can put everything on the petlookup. If I were to adopt Ruiex, I'd ask her to be transferred to retropeacock. Then, the month after, I'd user-to-user transfer her for Xutek, on Jockoiscute. Jockoiscute is the account she would be residing at, if I were to adopt her. I'd treat Rueix like I treat Illade, and most, if not all of my other pets. I don't enter beauty contests a whole lot, although I did enter once before, with Illade. We won gold in the pteri section, and I haven't entered since then. I probably wouldn't enter Ruiex, but it could be a possibility if I were to adopt her. I never role-play, and I really can't wrap my head around it. On the other hand, I do have a little story for Ruiex, in case I got to adopt her. I'll include it in the application.

Story

I stole for the adrenaline rush. If you don't look like a rouge, no one expects you to be. The only clue anyone ever said about my identity was that, "She swims quickly, and beautifully." Of course I did, I'm maraquan. Don't we all?

Hey, hey. My name is Ruiex. I steal. Well, used to. I was always a rogue, born into it. Some people don't like it, but I loved it. Every night I would take something here or there. I shut down one business entirely. I wasn't wealthy, but I lived easily. Well until one point. I almost never got caught. I was so high on my horse I started stealing in broad daylight. What a stupid mistake that was.

It was the store with the fastest owner. A maraquan uni. He could catch me with the flick of his massive tail. The sun was beating down through the deep water that day, making it lighter than usual. I did it anyway. I took the thing I liked most. A maraquan snarhook. I grabbed it and swam as fast as I could, creating ever dead end I could. I thought I'd lost him when I slid into my cavern. My spoils laid in no particular pattern. Then they came in. The police. Turns out they were looking for me, not just for what I'd done that day, but since the first day I stole in daylight hours.

That was it. I pleaded, and pleaded. They dragged me to the giant slugawoo. They went swiftly, and I grabbed at anything I could. The snarhook was following us. Trailing along, every turn we made. He didn't swim particularly gracefully. He had a style all his own. I watched him for what seemed like forever. Passing through the aqua-green waters. The seaweed was waving, the purple and greens. Rocks of every color showered the the bottom. It was the first time I realized where I lived was so beautiful. Suddenly I snapped out of it. We were there, and all I could see was a giant green monster rising out of a bubbling purple cavern.

The face, the slimy green whiskers pointing every which way. I cowered. The giant beast laughed menacingly. I looked to my sides. Two policeman stood straight and tall, each grabbing one of my fins. I looked behind me to see the cute little snarhook at my tail. It comforted me somehow. Then the sharp sound of the beast's voice made my head shoot instantly forward. He started to speak.
So, little creature. What did you do?
I didn't speak, so the guards spoke for me. They told my story, how I was stealing. I realized he wasn't a he at all, the beast was a she. I looked at her face. She was carefully pondering my fate. Then she spoke again.
It seems to me, that your a rogue. Well, my sentence is...

The Maybe Ending (If I got to adopt, this would be the ending. XD)

...special this time. Because you had no choice, there's someone I'd like you to meet.

Then another girl jumped down from one of the beasts tentacles. I hadn't noticed her. She was loosely trailed by a small koi, a baby, that was very easily distracted. When the girl landed, she called to the young koi, who was playfully nipping at the beasts tentacles.
Laniq, would you like to explain what's going to happen?
The little fish nodded. The beast smiled, and seemed happy. The little fish, Laniq swam up to me. She had a bubbly voice, it was very comforting.
Hi! My name is Laniq. I belong to girl over there. Her name is Kate, and she bought that snarhook. She was talking to the store owner when you stole it. She made me keep on your trail until they brought you here. Turns out, she wants to know if you would come live with us. You know, our family. There are a lot more in it than us, but we'd like you to join all the same. Then you can quit being a rogue and be taken care of. There is lots to do at our home too. We have a lot of fun.
Suddenly the little fish stopped. Kate walked toward me, and Laniq swam to her shoulder. Then she started talking.
So, what's your name?
I told her my name was Ruiex.
So Ruiex, would you like to come live with us? As Laniq explained, we have a pretty big family, and there is always lots of fun. Plus, you'd be taken care of. You wouldn't have to steal. So, what do you say?
I really wanted to. But would that want to steal ever go away? If I didn't would they let me go? Or would I be stuck in prison? Her big family wouldn't be like prison would it, especially not with that little koi swimming around so happily. Then she said something. I didn't hear her. I stared blankly. Then she repeated herself.
You can keep the little maraquan snarhook behind you if you come with us, he'll be yours. That was it. My little companion, a hopefully loving, large family. I could be happy there. So I told her my answer.
Uh, okay. I'll go with you.
The guards released me, and she just turned, and started moving towards the surface, Laniq at her shoulders. I followed too, and my little snarhook behind me. We swam like that for a while, until we came to an underwater cave entrance, blocked by a giant metal door. She looked at me.
You open it using the little keypad over there. The code is happy. So original, right?
She laughed as she typed in the code. The the door began to slide apart, revealing a wide mini ocean beyond. It was almost exactly like maraqua. As we swam through the opening, the door closed behind us. All four of us. A beautiful flotsam passed gracefully, dressed in regal clothes. Kate called out to her.
Hydrein! Come here and take Laniq. She's kind of tired. Oh, by the way, this is Ruiex. She's going to be staying with us now.
Hydrein looked at me, a huge smile stretched across her face. Then she swam towards me, and hugged me in a warm embrace. She swam away with Laniq at her tail. Kate started swimming towards the surface. Two sets of eyes looked at us from below. I learned later that they were Corthus and Xutek. Xutek was leaving soon, though. As Kate pulled herself out of the water and took off the breathing mask, I stared at the waters edge. A crowd of neopets were looking out at me. Then the littlest one, named Wuhrm, crawled onto her shoulder. They all introduced themselves. My new family. I'd never been so happy in my life.

So, I've settled in with my new family. The fun I have with them everyday totally takes care of the want to steal. I'm well taken care of, and Kate is a pretty good cook. Felly, my snarhook and I are a pretty good pair. Kate gives us all small gifts everyday, and mine are usually shiny, beautiful rocks of maraqua with a golden dubloon to hoard. My room is shaped like a sunken ship. I store my dubloons in the hidden chests around my ship, and decorate it however I wish. I've never felt better, and I don't think I ever want to leave this, so I guess I won't.

Myself, On Neopets.

Well, my main account is jockoiscute. I have four side accounts. Newfoundlander_, jockoiscute, boneforest, and retropeacock. All linked to on my userlookup. I have 13 pets. Laniq, Wuhrm, Taillu, Hydrein, Illade, Alraiah, Cahlvei, Ripelin, Corthus, Atreali, Xutek, Kygron, and Sinahr. I'm in a guild called emineo (formerly peacock sheep), which is an NR themed guild with an adoption/trading agency twist. I have many neofriends, although Kylie (_london_89) is my best neofriend. I don't restock or play keyquest, but I do play games and do my dailies. I have two lab rays, and I used to trade pets quite a bit. Not anymore, since I have mostly permanent pets that I love. Now I zap pets for my friends and collect avatars. I love to chat on the neoboards too, mainly on the PC. I update all my lookups all the time, I like them being up to date. Other than that, I basically just mess around with stuff all the time. I'm on here a lot, but that's cause I have nothing else to do. Plus it's just so addicting. I don't think I'll ever leave.
