Welcome!

Rules
First warning- Simple punishment.
Second warning- Suspended from the guild.
Third warning- Kicked out.
Fourth warning- Blocked.
1: No fighting on the boards. Either take it to neomail or don't fight. If you have a real problem with this member, tell a council member and something will be done.
2: We are fully literate, so please act like it. Very minimal chat speak is fine as long as it's in ooc or out of character. But please no +@1X!n& 1!X3 +H!$. Proper spelling, grammar and punctuation are a must. If you aren't the best speller in the world, Firefox and chrome both have automatic spellcheckers.
3: You can have up to seven characters.
4: If you role play your seven characters well, you may ask someone on the guild council for a eighth.
5: No spamming. That means no posting more than three messages in a row. Other members need to role play too.
6: Do not kill other peoples cats unless they really want to get rid of that character. Please ask before you kill someones cat.
7: No role playing other peoples cats without their permission and especially do not role play council.
8: Follow all of TNTs rules. We don't want anyone getting frozen now do we?
9: Please be active, otherwise you could be thrown from the guild.
10: Chat play is okay, as long as it's in ooc and does not continue for pages upon pages. Keep it to a minimum, maybe three posts tops.
11: Always use OOC and BIC on the boards to keep role play organized.
12: Have fun! This guild wasn't made for you to be bored.
13: No ultra cats. Just as it takes time for you to learn to walk, it takes time to learn to hunt and fight. A new apprentice will not catch the first prey they see on the first try, and they will not be able to pin down their mentor with one paw the second they start to train. Also, no cat is invincible. No matter what happens, a cat will not go through a warriors life without going to the medicine den.
14: No double prefixes. For example, if one person already role plays Gorsepaw, there will not be another cat with Gorse__ for their name unless that cat is dead.
15: No odd names. This includes: Moon-, Sun-, Sparkle-, Shine-, Whisper-, Star-, Spark-, Forest-, Thunder-, River- Wind-, Ray-, Glimmer-, Metal names like Copper- and Lead-, etc. or the name of a place/ human object. If it's not nature-related, it should not be a warrior name. If you have a name the you are not sure of, ask on the board or check below.
16: Please ask Sandy(voodooshop, she assigns mentors and apprentices) before making your cat an apprentice. We may be limited on warriors at the time you join and your apprentice may not have a mentor, so please ask!
17: Two weeks in real life, is equal to one moon in role play. This helps age our cats correctly and also organize times for apprenticing and warrior ceremonies.
18: We have one board subject, it is not to be touched under penalty of Emilee. Seriously.
19: By joining the guild, you are agreeing that you have read, and will follow these rules.
Ranks
Yes, I know some people may not like the idea of a rank system, but please bear with me. It's not the normal one you see in a lot of guilds where there are specific requirements you need to level up your character. Ours is almost like that, but the only exception is that it doesn't effect your character. If you joined, you can create a warrior if you like, but your guild rank would be Rogue until you level up. It has nothing to do with Gorseheart or Flowerkit, just YOUR rank in the guild, not your character's in the clan. (If Sandy ever forgets to update your rank, please remind her)
Rogue-Starting rank
Kit-50 posts, send Sandy cat page link
Apprentice-100 posts
Warrior-500 posts
Senior warrior-1000 posts
As you can see, we do not require you to find new members or make us pages(except your cat page), we just want you to know what's going on in the guild and be active.
Characters
The cat form is at the top of our Cat Page, please use that format when making your cat. If not, at least include your username.
Names
As stated above, no cats with names like: Moon-, Sun-, Sparkle-, Shine-, Whisper-, Star-, Spark-, Forest-, Thunder-, River-, Ray-, Glimmer-, Ocean-, Sea-, Wave-,(Since StreamClan is nowhere near an ocean nor any Seas) Metal names like Copper- and Lead-, etc. or the name of a place/ human object. If it's not nature-related, it should not be a warrior name. Allowed Metal Names: Gold, Silver since they describe the pelt of the cat. Please no black cats named something completely unrelated to them like Snow or Ice. If a cat could not tell exactly what it is at first sight, it should not be their name. A name describes the cat's fur, eyes, size, etc. but not personality. A mother doesn't know what her kit will be like when they are older, so names like Brave-, Caring-, Strong- or Fierce- are no-no's. If you need help picking a name,
this guide is really excellent for deciding and explaining warrior names.
Kits
Kits are age 0-6 moons, please do not make a cat over 6 moons with the suffix, -kit.
Apprentices
Apprentices are ages 6 moons and up unless a training delay has occurred. As stated in the rules, please ask before making your cat an apprentice for mentoring reasons. Every apprentice will have a mentor that is not another character that you role play. Apprentices have jobs like collecting and changing bedding, hunting for the clan, and training. Apprentices are not an authority, so they cannot tell any cat what to do, unless they are passing on orders given directly from a warrior or council cat.
Warriors
Ages (usually) 15 moons and up. Protect and feed the clan, train apprentices, and senior warriors may even advise the leader. Warriors can give orders to apprentices only. No bossing around kits or council cats.
Council cats and Elders
Treat these cats with respect, they have put a lot into the clan and should not be treated like dirt. Elders are rewarded for their moons of service to the clan, and deserve their rank.
Rogues and Loners
While I do not particularly like the idea of random cats roaming about our territory, I cannot stop them. Please do not create a rogue or loner character that just decides to join the clan. At least have a story behind them or leave them out of camp. Yes, rogues do have a heavy influence on our clan. We really wouldn't be anywhere without them.
Relationships
You can have a mate, but only if someone agrees to be your cats mate. If the mother and father of the kits both have five cats(or six, depending on how many you have and council and such), the kits will be role played temporarily by the mother and father until a new member volunteers to role play them. Medicine cats cannot have a mate or kits.
Kits and apprentices cannot have mates, but apprentices can have crushes. Please ask the person before you make someone your mate or your family.
Mentors
Mentors are warriors who have been given an apprentice to train.
Mentoring Rules
1: You will not mentor your own cat unless we are in a warrior shortage.
2: No mentor will have more than one apprentice, even in shortage of warriors.
3: If you role play two apprentices, they will each be given a separate mentor.
4: I try not to make it so that your cats are not mentoring and being taught at the same time. I'll avoid it if I can, but in times of warrior shortage, your cats may have to mentor and learn at the same time.
5: The mentor will tell the apprentice when they are ready to become a warrior, an apprentice does not choose when they are ready.
6: The leader must agree that the apprentice is ready to become a warrior, or else no ceremony.
7: If the mentor of an apprentice is thrown from the guild, they will be issued a new one.
8: If the mentor of an apprentice is inactive, that mentor will not be permitted to mentor until they are active again. The apprentice will be issued a more active mentor.
Guild Activities
Guild sleepovers: We will try to stay up as late as we possibly can, while role playing and talking with each other on the guild board.
Meetings: Held every other week, Here, kits will become apprentices, Apprentices become Warriors, and special events and announcements will be made. Held at 3:00 NST usually on Sundays.
Plot contests: We need something to role play don't we? Well that's just what a plot does. Every willing member will submit a plot to be voted upon. Then, the guild members will vote for the one they like best, and that's our role play! The winner will have their plot role played.
Chat plays: Yes I know about rule 10, I wrote it. In this case, we will go to the public boards and have our own chat play with characters we might be thinking about role playing on our board. Chat play, for those who don't know, is basically role playing, but on a less detailed scale. Example:
Firepaw: *Munches catnip* WHEE! I CAN FLY! *Jumps off HighRock*
Spottedleaf: Oh, that was not thyme... *Hides in meddie den again*
It can be funny, serious, whatever. Just like normal role play.
Character hunt: We all go around the public boards and look for a seriously ridiculous character being role played. We all put it to a vote who's found character is most unrealistic. In the event of a tie, the competitors will have one minute to think up a role play trying to make their found character seem as likely as possible, then it is again put to vote.
Kicked out?: The guild leader will just erase you from the guild if you have not been on for fourteen days. Simply put, please be active. You can always come back and re-join, but if you are again inactive, you will be kicked out of the guild again. If you had a council spot and were deleted, chances are that you won't get it back. If you go on a trip or something for a week or more, please tell the leader
And Deputy so you don't get deleted. When you are deleted, your cat(s) will go with you. If you decide to come back, you will need to re-submit your info. This is just to keep things active in the guild. If you are going to be thrown out of the guild, you will not receive a neomail informing you so anymore.
Council
To be on council, you will need to have been with the guild for at least two weeks before taking a position.
Deputy is picked by the most loyal, strongest cat the leader feels will be able to run the clan without any trouble. Please don't fight or argue if you didn't get the position. Same goes for the Senior Warrior.
Medicine cats must know how to heal their clan and know the herbs. That's all we ask. They are allowed to hunt provided they have finished their daily duties. Same goes to medicine cat apprentices.
Council members are allowed to have eight cats without question. They have earned their position and have shown they can handle it.
Council positions currently open: None. Sorry!

Setting
Long ago, there were four clans who lived in the forest. ThunderClan, WindClan, ShadowClan, and RiverClan. They never had peace, nor ever had horrible wars. When twolegs took over their territory, plowing it over with huge monsters that seeped deadly gases, they fled to a new land. This land seemed perfect for them, until the same thing happened again. The ThunderClan leader did not like this, and wanted to move again. The other clans disagreed.
*We must find a new land!* the mighty Firestar yowled from the hightree.
*Or else be killed by these twolegs*
The RiverClan leader, Leopardstar called,
*We've tried that already! All it did was bring us here!* Murmurs of agreement rose up from her clanmates.
*Firestar is right* Mewed Ashstar of WindClan. *We have outlived this home just as we have the last. Why should we take different actions on the same matter?*
Russetstar Grunted.
*You're all nimble-minded fools! We cannot move back to the old territory, and all that we can do is travel towards the sun-drown-place, which has no place for us. The twolegs will leave soon enough and this will all be memories.* The Shadowclan leader yowled.
*Are you suggesting we do nothing!?* Asked Ashstar. *That's a terrible idea!*
*Do you see StarClan upset with this 'Terrible idea?'* Every cat in the clearing looked to the sky, no clouds covered the moon to show StarClan's anger.
*There must be some compromise surely* Said Firestar.
*And there is. We must separate.* A loud yell echoed around the island, that of Leopardstar.
*ShadowClan wants to stay and ThunderClan and WindClan suggest we leave again.*
*And What does RiverClan propose to do?* Asked Russetstar.
There was a pause before Leopardstar spoke again,
*I have discussed this with my deputy, and we both found it best if the RiverClan cats go with whichever clan they want*
Shocked gasps came out of almost every cats mouth.
*Silence warriors!* Firestar called to his clan and the clearing was quiet once again.
*RiverClan is no more!* Leopardstar Yowled and ran off, far from the island, a few of her clanmates following.
The clouds still did not touch the full moon.
*ThunderClan is leaving the lake territory. For our own safety. ThunderClan, and whomever wants to leave with us is welcome* He leaped from his branch in the hightree and left just as Leopardstar had, cats from every clan following him.
*Well,* Russetstar scowled at the rest of the cats.
*Who else is going to leave?*
*WindClan will never be seen again* Ashstar left with what was left of her clan, a few ShadowClan and RiverClan cats going with her.
That night, ThunderClan and it's followers fled north, into forests unknown. WindClan left with them, Ashstar knowing ThunderClan could not survive alone. ShadowClan stayed in the lake territory, and were killed by poisoned water and prey, or crushed by monsters. Leopardstar and her followers were never seen again, all probably turning to the soft life of a kittypet.
ThunderClan and WindClan went their separate ways, wars and battles being fought. Eventually after Firestar's death, the cats of ThunderClan and WindClan broke apart, living to fend for themselves. Some cats stayed together and lived in small groups, while others left the forest for good. Now, the cats from those groups have created their own clan, one not allied with any of the original clans. They agreed on the name StreamClan for the stream that flows through their territory. With decedents of the four original clans, StreamClan cats can hunt in any terrain, at any time of day with the strength, speed, skill and mind of their ancestors.
Plot
Destruction. Chaos. Mystery.
Everything has gone awry.
Cats are disappearing like crazy. One, after another, after another. Unknown scents are all over the Clan's territory. What's going on? Finally, a few familiar scents are caught. Faint scents, hardly remembered. After putting up with strange scents for long enough, prey starts becoming more and more scarce. Dead carcasses lay scattered around the forest, unknown scents all over them. Trails of prey's bl00d rubbed on the forest floor.. What on earth was happening? Finally, StreamClan sends out a group of a few of it's strongest warriors to figure out what's going on. They don't return for moons. Why? Because they were held hostage, by rogue's. The disappearing cats are both cats who are catnapped and cat's who decide to leave clan for the rogue's. The warriors who return are weak, underfed, and barely living. How was StreamClan going to get it's members back to the Clan, without losing everything to the rogue's? The medicine cat's seek answers from StarClan, but get the same response each time:
Beware the flames.
Protect the ravens.
Guard the stream.
What could all this mean, and what does StreamClan's future look like? Could this be the end?
