Eientei (永遠亭, literally House of Eternity) is the name of a large, old-fashioned Japanese mansion hidden deep within the Bamboo Forest of the Lost. It has hallways that lead out into the far reaches of the sky. Every month on the night of the full moon, the residents of Eientei hold a Moon Festival (例月祭, Reigetsusai) offering mochi with medicinal herbs pounded into them. Making mochi is thus the main occupation of the Earth rabbits. This petpage was Krissy's idea and coding. With a quick, aggravated intake, Rena turned away from the mochi pail. "I'm not going to sit here and pound mochi forever," She muttered, glancing to the many other unoccupied pails. Plus, everyone else shirked their duties too.
She threw her mallet off to the side. "This isn't fair," She snarled, "Why do I have to sit here and do all the Earth Rabbit work?" Rajanico, her older brother, folded his arms. "Because all the other rabbits are spending the Reigetsusai with their families. They'll be back when time comes to actually begin the Festival's making of the mochi." Enraged, Rena turned to him. "So why am I doing it now?!" Rajan smiled, turning his back and walking away with a nonchalant wave. "Because Eirin would hurt you if you didn't." With a sigh, Rena nodded and went back to work.
There wasn't much to do on the Reigetsusai. Rajan and Rena were the only Moon rabbits to return to Earth to aide them in the pounding of medicine. Unfortunately, they were the only rabbits who came. Eirin would lecture and yell at the Earth rabbits who slacked off, but for now, the festival must go on. Rena, once alone, smiled to herself. If I need to work at this all on my lonesome, then at least I should speed up the pace. She walked away from her mochi pale and back into Eientei, where her staff was placed.
She searched around for the long brown rod, only to find nothing. With a huff, she checked into the guest rooms. She saw Rajan there, leaning against the wall with her rod in hand. "Give that back," Rena hissed. He simply rolled his eyes and threw it in the air. The staff had a black glow to it and did not return to the ground as gravity would have intended. "You know I'm a much stronger magician than you because you never train," Rajan nagged. "Get this from me using your magic and I'll let you cheat your way through the mochi chores." Infuriated, Rena shook her head. "Why should I waste my time, you just said you're the better magician." Rajan sighed and pushed his hand forward. The staff hovered over to Rena-- above her head. It sat there. Rena tried to jump to get it to no avail. "Don't you want it back?" He smiled. Her brother was a nuisance.
Having given up on the mochi itself, Rena sat on one of the rocks outside of Eientei. Sooner or later the Earth Rabbits would return, and she could go take a huge nap on one of the comfortable beds. She coiled herself in her cape and laid down on the rock. "All I want is to train," Rena muttered, half consciously. "And I will be better than him. Some flamboyant pretty boy can't be better than me." Eventually, she dosed off with these thoughts replaying in her head. Rajan, after using his own magic to mash every medicinal herb into about 100 buckets of mochi, stepped out from Eientei. He unhinged his cape, dropped it on his little sister, and returned back inside.

My brother is a very kind guy. He's annoying, too. He has a thing for taking the utmost care of me... because he remembers the war clearer than I do. He wasn't even in it, so I'm more annoyed at the fact that he thinks he can treat me like a child. I close my eyes and try to smile, though... things are bad, and getting worse... and I will need his help and support through it, anyway.

Lunacy 聖夜
It's the power moon rabbits possess, as I said stated before. The ability turns our eyes red while it is in use. It's like affecting one's brain into seeing illusions. These illusions can be made real through lunacy, albeit it takes a strong power to do so. Young Moon Rabbits train to be able to master the ability. On the moon, however, there is a Lunar Tower that is used to amplify the effects of lunacy.
Light Sage
The statistics of many magicians... Low health, low defense... I make up for it in many ways. My magic, albeit usually for healing, can be very strong offensively. I'm also very lucky in my casting. And quite fast, being a sage. I worry, however. My brother is a powerful Archsage. He is born in the darkness, better and stronger than me.
Archaic Runes
You see the circle under me? That means I'm casting. It's nothing more than a pretty effect. But I'd run if you see it. Something bad's gonna happen.
Spell Cards
We can cast spell cards... it's a long story, and if you comprehend, good on you.
Just a few tidbits before you begin reading, because the story will get confusing from this point on.
At birth, Rena and Rajan looked identical. Despite being born a year before, Rena sounded no different from her brother when both were able to speak. This is why they are called twins, despite the varying differences between the two.
The two are generally always close to each other. They depend on each other heavily despite how often they bicker. Though they can fight alone-- Rajan is better than Rena --neither can sustain much damage as a magician is rather weak in the vitality and endurance department. Rena is the solution to that weakness, being able to heal the both of them.
After the creation of Ayakashi, both magicians went to Eientei to stay. They preferred to be in the bamboo brushes than interrupted by the few inhabitants. Rajanico still likes to leave, though Rena keeps herself holed up in Eientei with Eirin and the other rabbits. She isn't a socialite. She does not keep a head count of who lives in Ayakashi, but she does try to keep an eye on who comes and who goes. The two try to limit the amount of people as that was what they were fleeing from the beginning-- contact.
While Rena likes to fight, Rajan likes to work. The two of them are rather hard to deal with.
Ayakashi floats around in a separate dimension. It is named after the great ghost tree in Gensoukyou's Saigyou Ayakashi. The region was made for people who did not wish to live in Gensoukyou with a larger, crazier population; however the area was quickly inhabited with nuts all on its own, voiding the original problem...
Being a smaller, isolated chunk of Gensoukyou, Ayakashi is much less controlled by the people in its mother region. Not many people live there as it is hard to access; not only that, but the people there seem to be unruly and hostile-- not saying that Gensoukyians are any better.
The geography is rather grassy. Being mostly forests, Ayakashi has a few differences from the motherland, but not many.
Ayakashi has noticable copies of Gensoukyou's original geography. Some of the inhabitants who moved to Ayakashi requested that the Border Youkai, who took time out to create the area, made things easier on herself by remaking certain important areas; noteably one of which being Eientei, the land of the moon and Earth rabbits. Another requested replica was the Forest of Magic.
EienteiThe Eientei inhabitants are the twins, Rajanico and Rosalene. They had requested for Eientei to be remade, but the deed would have been too strenuous. The two rabbits instead, known for their magic, made Gensoukyou and Ayakashi's Eientei into one. The bamboo maze that exists in both Ayakashi and Gensoukyou blends into one, leaving Eientei in Gensoukyou alone but requiring less work on the Border Youkai's part in modes of transportation and recreating a whole area.
Rena; A seventeen year old white haired (she's not old in any way, shape or form. She just has white hair. Don't mock her.) sage. She has the ability to heal and use light to attack. She has a horribly abrasive personality and is even more antisocial than Fey. She is babied by her older brother much to her dismay. She likes to attack rather than heal, even if it is her main ability. She's simply a contradiction and proves that looks don't mean everything. There's worse names she could be -- and usually is --called though.
Rajanico; Unlike Rosalene, he is an archsage, so he is more offensive than defensive. He uses darkness to fight. He is more friendly and loving towards everyone, and could be easily claimed as the only friend Zylaire has. He doesn't like to fight as much as Rosalene. Also a contradiction and proving looks don't mean everything. He likes to tease his younger sister. They're only called twins because they had the same light purple-blue hair at birth until it differentiated. He's eighteen, born on the same day as Rosalene, just a year ahead of course.
The next issue with Eientei being recreated would have been the moon-- as many Rabbits are born on the moon and into Lunacy --which could definitely not be recreated. With the twin's idea, this issue is also solved. The moon still remains within in both areas, but if one was to fly to it from Ayakashi, they would end up in Gensoukyou's moon. It didn't make a difference to any inhabitants save for the twins either, as no one else wanted to go to the moon. However, it does leave Gensoukyians another way into Ayakashi, if they find the right path in the sea of stars.
