What's going on?

TNT has recently changed the filter codes, which has affected most, if not all, custom layouts. At this point, most of the premade codes that are from Trapeze ARE fixable. The issue, however, is that I cannot upload fixed versions of the codes, because TNT has blocked the "textarea" HTML code.

What does this mean for you?

While the codes once featured here are mainly fixable, as of now I am unable to upload or display fixed coding due to the textarea block. Unfortunately you guys are therefore on your own to fix them, and I have listed some very helpful sites to the right.

What does this mean for Trapeze?

Well, the long and short of it is that any petpages that feature copy and pasteable coding (premade pages like Trapeze, adoptables, CSS help sites, and many others) are no longer functioning. While I am aware of alternative options (like putting square braketed codes in a scrolling div), I feel that they may be too confusing for visitors and incredibly time consuming for me at this point.

The issue I am having right now is the principle of the matter, which is the absolute disregard and complete alienation of an entire group of artists in Neopia. Not only those who provide coding are affected by this, but also those who enjoy them. I encourage everyone to submit a ticket (linked to the right), not just for Trapeze, but for every site that provides a service or assistance. Urge TNT to consider other options for site safety rather than those that completely restrict us (they have options, they just chose the easiest).

For now Trapeze is on a tentative hiatus until things stabilize, so I can consider my options while hoping TNT reconsiders unblocking textareas :)

Be proactive!

Submit a ticket to TNT expressing that you highly value having premade coding and graphics sites in Neopia and request that they unblock the textarea code!

Be articulate, not irate. You can catch more bees with honey than you can with vinegar!
