As time goes by, your creamie adventurer can advance in his / her journey by levelling up and gaining new experiences.Will you embark on this journey with us? |

The main storyline of the game takes place in the quiet little town of Roo. Although tiny, the town is home to some of the bravest creamies in the land and has been the birth place of many heroes. Things have been peaceful till recently, as there have been whispers of an old evil lurking in the shadows. Monsters grow bolder and have breached the perimeters of Roo's forests and fields, leaving fear and chaos in their path. In response to this, there has been a call out for heroes. Rigorous training will be provided and rewards will be vast, but do you have the heart and spirit for what it takes?
World of Roocraft is an extremely simple game with a sprinkling of traditional Dungeons & Dragons elements. Basically, I have created a selection of creamies that are inspired by fantasy role playing games. Each creamie is based on an adventurer of a certain class (eg, Wizard, Monk etc) and race (eg, Elf, Human etc). Every creamie starts off at level 1 and has a basic set of skills. As time goes by, these creamies grow stronger and level up, thereby gaining more powerful abilities.
Adventurers are able to take part in quests, mini events and games to gain experience and loot for their creamies. With every level or piece of loot required, there is an opportunity to advance the skills of the creamies or enhance their looks with awesome new stuff such as mounts, companions and weapons!
The first step to your Roocraft journey is to adopt an adventurer. There are various preset options available and in the future, there will also be the opportunity to design your own custom adventurer creamie. There is no limit to the number of creamies you can adopt, although the greater the number of creamies, the harder it will be to level every one of them up. You will be able to assign a name, background story and character to your own creamies to add that special touch of personalization! To take part in Roocraft, you just need to fill in the adoption form and send it in!
After you've adopted your creamies, it's time to check out the town. Currently, there are 5 buildings in the town square: The Specialty Store, the Apothecary, the Castle, the Hall of Records and the Arena. Each of these buildings offers different items, information and/or activities to help out in your Roo adventure.
From time to time, adventures will be available which your creamies can embark on beyond the safe haven of the town. You can participate in these adventures to gain experience, special treasures and perhaps a special title or two.
In order to advance to a new level, creamie adventurers need to gain a certain amount of experience. This allows them acquire new skills and abilities, which will make them more battle ready!
Experience can be gained from the consumption of Roo potions. Roo potions are magical little concoctions that can be acquired weekly from the Apothecary. Each creamie can be fed a maximum of 5 potions each week; anymore, and it will cause indigestion! To feed a potion to a creamie, simply go to your player entry in the Hall of Records and click on "Feed potion". Make sure you actually have that potion in your inventory though!
Experience can also be gained through the completion of challenges, skirmishes and adventures. This can be obtained as a reward for completing a certain objective or in the form of potions as a part of discovered treasure.
Apothecary: A little potion store managed by a faerie and her magic cauldron. Potions can be acquired here every week, each with a special effect that can benefit your creamie in different ways.
Specialty Store: A store which offers special items such as mounts, companion pets, decorative costumes and other things to pamper your adventurers with.
Castle: Your one-stop destination for news about Roo and the daily happenings. There will also be various challenges housed here from time to time, and all of them offer special rewards!
Arena: The training grounds where your creamies can spar with friendly opponents in skirmishes to prepare for real battles in adventures.
Hall of Records: This building houses a list of all adventurers and their progress in Roocraft. Each player will have his/her own player entry here which consists of all the important personal information about his/her progress in Roocraft.
There is an array of activities that you and your creamies can take part in:
Challenges can be acquired from the Castle and are often a set of simple quizzes and puzzles set by the well-meaning royal staff.
Skirmishes are offered at the Arena where creamies can face-off with the current challenger in a single player battle. Each creamie can only take part in 1 battle per day to allow challengers to rest and recover (not everyone is a young creamie in his/her prime!).
Adventures are larger scale events which are available from time to time. Each adventure can offer a certain degree of exploration, puzzles and even large scale battles where all adventurers can cooperative in a group effort to bring down a particularly powerful foe.
Battles will play a significant part in Roocraft and allow your creamies to really hone their skills and abilities. Each creamie will have a special set of skills which are specific to their class. As they level up, creamies will learn new abilities and improve old ones. Battles are dynamic experiences which will take part over a series of neomails. To take part in a battle, simply click on the "Attack" button, choose an attack or spell, fill in the attack form and send it in. The monster will soon retaliate, so brace yourself! (Note: for those allergic to violence, it is completely possible to play Roocraft without taking part in a battle because there are other activities and ways to gain experience.)
Once I have confirmed your ownership of the creamie(s), I will update your player entry in the Hall of Records.
A morning breeze caresses your face as you walk along the cobblestone path that leads to the town. A row of colourful buildings greet you as you enter the main square. Which building will you enter?
Update: There are new potions at the Apothecary! Perhaps you'd like to check them out?
A wizened, elderly gnome jumps out of his chair with surprising ease as you enter the store. He squeaks excitedly, A customer on a fine, fine day! How may we please you with our wares? You breathe in the sweet scent of marshmallows roasting over a fire as you reply:
The gnome claps excitedly and leads you to a corner of the shop. The floor is lined with cushy pillows and upon it lie some of the cutest mounts you've seen.
You hear the merry bubbling of liquid as you enter the apothecary. The faerie looks up from her cauldron and smiles brightly at you. Can I help you, my darling? she tinkles in a sweet voice. You can't help but return her smile shyly as you reply:
