Not the most responsible girl in Neopia, Weapon spends much of her time away in Neopia Central keeping up with friends and goings on. When she's home she can usually be found shut away in her study, working on her sites.

Her inexpect owner skills used to cause problems, forcing Malina and Zero to take up the slack, but now that everyone is older it's less of an issue.

Weapon has a twin sister, Shady, who lives deeper in the Woods. Those Neopets who grew up with her (Raydth, Syrus and Ace) consider Kelly, Mal and Zero cousins.

Shady is a fictional character - I don't really have a mildly evil twin, fortunately.

Zero's paintjob can be intimidating - not to mention his tendency to dress somewhat tough - but his family and friends know him as a quiet, pleasant young man. He is likely to be the most reserved in a group.

He used to live with Weapon and his younger sisters, Mal and Kelly, in the Haunted Woods, but since the family's encounter with Ddianc he has left home to find himself a job (and, perhaps, hoping to run into that lost soul whom he so badly wants to help).

Though always visiting home very often, Zero was glad when such a responsible adult as Rebme joined the household. Apart from Rebme's attempts to convince him the house was haunted by a malignant spirit, he seemed a stable fellow.

Zero was created on the same day I joined. It was only a whole year later that I realised the 15th of November is also Neo's birthday.

Malina was once defined by her role in the household; she cleaned, she tried to learn how to cook from Zero, she argued with Weapon, she looked out for her sister, she went shopping with her friends. It was good, all in all.

But there had to be more to life. She wasn't sure what she even wanted to do until she came across an advertisement on courses in Shenkuu. Design. Textiles. It was miles away and would likely be completely different to life in the Woods. It was perfect.

Mal (she dropped the ina) is well into her studies and has work assisting a make-up artist at a theatre. She still writes home twice a week.

+---- Raydth

The responsibilities of life rarely fall on Raydth's shoulders and he revels in it. He is the prankster, the teasing older brother, the one far more interested in having fun than in academia. But perhaps his position as oldest of three holds some sway, as he has always done well in school (apart from History) and seems to have a serious eye on Syrus and Ace, occasionally prodding them to think about the future.

He is currently away from home, studying and sharing an apartment with a couple of other students, who are as into surfing as he is. And sometimes the three of them will form an impromptu and inexpert band and play on the beaches.

Raydth was originally Xxxxxx###### but was recreated as Raydth on his birthday in 2009.

Syrus is probably the quietest of us all, which could perhaps be blamed on his siblings' extrovert natures. He finds refuge with his cousin Kelly, who does not require him to talk.

Many things worry Syrus. Strangers. Shadows. The Haunted Woods in general. When feeling safe, he enjoys reading plays and anything Neovian.

Sharing Weapon's creativity and ambition, Kelly has spent countless hours helping out with the sites (especially Find A Laugh) along, more lately, with M-City. Perhaps due to how close they have been, she has nurtured herself the discipline Weapon lacks. She rarely gets impatient with her, knowing exactly how to deal with the distractions and lows.

Once consistently shy around strangers, confidence in her ability to talk to people has been slowly growing - with age or experience, she isn't sure. Still, she turns down any offer of a change from her plain yellow.

Still living at home, she has only vague ideas of what she might like to do when she's older. She spends time exercising her imagination muscle and visiting her favourite cousin, Syrus.

One might suppose Ace's constant enthusiasm to be a side effect of many months of Lab Ray treatment, but her family would correct this assumption - Ace has always been chronically cheerful.

She has tried many things - babysitting, working at the Deserted Fairground, busking (violin), running a cake stall, and becoming a gypsy to name a few - but she happily admits that nothing holds her interest for long.

She lately took up an extended visit to Weapon's household (she had still been living with Shady and Syrus, deeper in the Woods), the better for her and Weapon to assist with The Faeries' Ruin.

+---- Rebme

Let's set one thing straight: The fact that Rebme fears the maligant spirit he senses in the house, prefering to live in a tent in the garden, does not mean he isn't a perfectly down to earth fellow.

It frustrates him, naturally, that he can't convince the others of the danger they are in, but what more is he supposed to do? He of course continues his self-education - reading as many books as he can to prepare himself for every situation life might present (he believes in 'knowing thine enemy').

Rebme lodged with the household on 30th May, 2006, and has since become very fond of them all and found a permanent place in the family.

Rebme, created in 2004, is one Neopet that I adopted (as you might guess, on 30th May, 2006).

Life has lived with Shady's household since 2008, when she took a holiday to the Woods on the week of her birthday. Besides falling in love with all the ghosts and the freaks, she found there the means to begin a project she had been thinking about for years - in the shape of Weapon, who was all too keen to help.

Having grown up in Faerieland as a foster child, it might be no surprise that she is an independant sort of person. Some suspect Faerieland's magic must have rubbed off on her as well, pointing to A Gift For Life's uncannily efficient updates as evidence.

As might be apparent, Life was created expressly to host A Gift For Life.

Scable Runes... the sort of name, as he says, that gives you the impression 'scable' is an adjective. One could describe Scable as, besides a piratical Buzz, being a dishonest but oft benevolent man whose motivations are hard to pin down. He isn't safe, but he wouldn't hurt a fly. And he's written a story (Scable Runes - Truths for the Liar) that may or may not be entirely true.

Scable is not connected with the 'family' of most of my Neopets.

Some think hanging around in the Lost Desert has turned this snot-coloured Grundo a little strange... others think he already was strange, and such is why he hangs there. But nobody really knows except Fhef, and he - so often taciturn - isn't telling. He's happiest coaxing tunes from discarded rubbish. If you're lucky, he may open up about his beliefs in subliminal messaging. About the sort of message he might want to send to the world though, he won't speak. You'll just have to listen to his music.

Fhef is not connected with the 'family' of most of my Neopets.

+---- MoltaraCity

M-City enjoys photography, humour, and the little pleasures of every day. He and Weapon met in Neopia Central one time and got on like a fire gobbling up a house.

Probably the most laidback of the household, most don't even notice he's there. He likes to help with the sites a bit, especially when a new layout is required.

M-City was created the day Moltara was discovered, in 2009.
