I spent about 2 hours drawing this design. I had the design orginally laid out on paper but it was a cruddy sketch/idea picture and I wasn't sure on the colors yet. His cloak I made differently and is suppose to be of something that happened in the past, more like a victory event because there was a strange dragon that corrupted the village of Meridell and Rino fought off the demon. The castle is his home. The fireworks was in celebration of Rino's brave savior of defeating the dragon. He has a small cloak over his wings that have small dangling shards. A random feather is wrapped around his tail. No ordinary feather, Wysteria's feather, his only son. He has a grey goatee/beard whatever you want to call it. I made that because he is older than he looks. The grey in his mane is suppose to simplify that he is old. The design on the right is Rino without his cloak on. That was a random design I put together and a ankle bracelet is more of a royalty charm. That is what the dragon was searching for because it has magical powers. His hoofs has feathery fur that barely cover his hooves.

History

Rino's history, a long and adventurous story, prepare yourself for a interesting fairytale...

**I haven't really developed his childhood story yet, so, I will start from when he had a family of his own**

Rino has a personality much like Wysteria his son. Rino and his family lived in the woods in the middle of nowhere. They were happy and knew about every animal in the forest. Rino would walk Wysteria (when he was a foal) around the forest and teach him about plants, animals, danger, and safety. His mother adored plant life and named Wysteria after the vine that grew around their tree trunk home and the vine also grew tiny purple flowers. Rino and his wife were a loving strong couple that outlasted anyone's. They were so true and forgiving to one another and loved each other. His wife's name was Marigold, only she was a pretty mistyblue color with purple splotches everywhere and wore a garland of flowers in her mane and some tied around her tail. She was the most happy and light-hearted mare. She was always gentle with her foals and was kind to them. Star was born later. She was blue and looked a lot like her mother, same narrow face. In the winter, Rino would bring home berries and big stalks of grass to feed his family from the deathly snows. The winter weather was usually very cold and hard to find food under the snow. When they slept, they would all hundle together and sleep on the trunk's wood floor in the hollow small cave that Rino had carved a few years ago.

One day when Marigold was resting in the willow tree and Rino laying with her, he heard a gun shot that was clearly in the distance. A flock of crows cawed everywhere and were seperated in all directions. Rino was suddenly alert and Marigold was alarmed as well. Marigold realized that her foals were playing somewhere alone outside, she instantly charged outside when BANG! The sound of the gun went off and there was a big thud on the ground. Marigold lay there soundless on the ground. The humans mistook the horse for a deer but then thought they could sell her horn instead. Rino suddenly had his heart racing and when he heard the strange whispers of the hunters disappear he sprinted outside looking for his foals and ignored his dead precious love near him. There was no sign of his children but BANG! another gunshot that hit Rino in the hindquarter. He instantly flung to the ground, moaning and gasping trying to pull himself up. Suddenly his vision had blue and purple spots and he lost all signs of consciousness. The hunters picked him up and put him on the carriage there where he layed on top of his dead love.

Chapter 2

When dusk caved in the hunters were away, carrying the carriage to the back of their own domestic horses backs. Those horses were draft horses and only lived for work. They had straps on their shoulders to help move carriages with wheels. The movement of the carriage suddenly had Rino moving and opening his eyes. He was alive, but in pain. He almost cried out when he saw Marigold beneath him. The humans were going back and forth in their alien tongue and Rino slipped off the carriage sneakily right when they hit a bump. They didn't seem to notice. Rino flew into the trees where his siloutee could not be seen on the road. He made his way back, back to the Willow tree. When he found it, everything was gone. The trees were painted with ash and blood from bullets. The smell of other dead horses, burnt wood, and gunsmoke could be scented in the slow moving air. Rino saw no sign of life. In his heart he knew what he must do now, his family was gone. He then left the forest of his home and traveled to Merridel where there he would be something of importance.
One day when he was walking in town, there was a big green and long dragon. It zooped through the air and flew through the alleys and breathed fire to the people. Living in Merridel had done Rino some good for he learned magical spells at a old forgotten shop called, 'Le Ol Crafts.' Sure, it was a craft store, but there was a secret door behind the cashier that led serious customers to learning magical spells and just pure magic. The dragon was enraged and was looking for something. It looked like a dark cyan braclet and it had a marble that was held in the clutch of this bracelet. It was a orb, a strong powerful item that could be used for mysterious powers. When Rino was learning magic, the old lady there had given him this bracelet that would help him fight off any bad enemies. The dragon cornered the cloaked horse, seeing through x-ray vision that Rino had what he wanted. So the battle between the two had begun. He started slashing at the uni, but Rino made a back flip and was on his right side. The dragon was now on the ground and crawled closer to him atempting to make another attack. Rino skipped and then rolled aiming his horn in his chest. The dragon roared now even more furious as he made the first successful attack. The dragon swished his tail and aimed more fire. Rino jumped out of the way and appeared behind him, running his horn up the enemie's spine. The dragon shook his body for him to get off but he clung there hanging onto his hair and continuing jabbed him in the back. The dragon did a sumersault, while the whole ground shook, also trembling the houses in the village. Rino lay crushed on the ground, like a ant being stepped on. He barely moved. He was almost finished but, he was saving his magic for when he really needed it. As he was about to stand up, the dragon slapped him and he hit one of the houses, while brick and cement fell on him. Rino now completley tattered and bruised shakily stood up, the dragon was about to throw spheres of fire at him when all of a sudden a blinding light of black and purple colors beamed out of his horn and into his mouth. The big rays from his horn shot into the dragons mouth and the dragon blew up completley. There was nothing left of it but his skull laying on the side. Rino had defeated the enemy. While he was really relieved and happy that he performed the magic ability correctly he stumbled and fell to the ground. He used the last of his lifeforce left to save the village. He was gone now...

Chapter 3

The old lady saw the battle and flew out of her magic/craft shop and kneeled next to him. She spoke some arabic foreign language and made some hand gestures over his body. She had a chrome blue looking potion and held it to his mouth. She poured it down his mouth. He slowly opened his eyes, he was alive yet still painful. He looked up at the old lady and said, thank you. She hugged him and said, "Merridel needs you." "Your the only creature that is able to perform the ability the best." Later, when the villagers came out of their houses they had witnessed Rino fighting off the dragon. They all sat and bowed to him. He didn't think he was able to accomplish such a thing but he felt powerful for the first time ever. The King of Merridel passed down his royalty to Rino. Rino was now and proud to be the king of Merridel and would sometimes be escorted to defeat off demons or enemies. He lived in a grey castle with a navy flag and silver markings on it. On the night of the dragon battle victory, the old King set off fireworks and held a festival full of dancing, food, and a community of people to honor Rino for his brave, heroic sacrifice and care for his people.

Family

This is Wysteria, my favorite pet. He is the oldest, and has been a fun uni to roleplay with. He is a forest guardian of Neverwood. He's known to stalk the forest boundaries at night to protect all creatures from forest fires, predators, and humans. He hates humans. He has made many friends along his journey along with Neelahne his love. Wysteria can be described as loyal, a gentleman, serious, and respectful. Starlio is his sister while Wing is adopted. Wysteria has a dark purple body with periwinkle mane and tail. He has huge pegasus-like wings and a very long white glowing horn. He has a white moon crescent over his eye, along with white hoofs, muzzle, and symbol on hindquarter. Whisper the purple horus keeps him company and sits on his wing.

This is Starlio. She is the middle of the family. She doesn't really have a big title or anything. From time to time, she'll visit Wysteria in Neverwood and catch up but usually she wanders the meadows boredly and at night she loves stargazing. Shooting stars can be very pretty when you stare at the sky for a super long time. Her first friend was Canada but later became lovers. Eventually though he stopped contacting her and she was all depressed. I know this sounds weird, she was more of my drama uni. She was never really happy with her love life. Hah. Suyu is her foal with Canada. They've been really close ever since he left. She has another friend name Rongotai. He taught her defensive fighting moves. He was very helpful with learning and dealing with protecting herself from predators. Aeneas was a friend of hers that had lost his war. She is described as quiet, wanderer, shy, and sometimes happy. Mostly a boring personality. She has a blue pelt with electric blue stripes all over her body, along with a cream mane and tail and angelic-like wings. Her design is very detailed. She has a christmas anubis named Epona. I gave her that when I first created her.

Lastly, my second favorite character, Wing. A long time ago on the boards I needed a name for a Bluna and someone gave me a name for one but I liked the name soooo much that I created Wing's name out of it. ^^ For the longest time she was yellow. I remember waiting and hoping that TNT would come out with a grey paint brush so I could paint her grey. When it eventually came out, the paint brush was super expensive and I knew I'd never be able to afford it. So instead I painted her spotted because on her custom design there is a big white spot on her hindquarter. I just thought to paint her something and so that matched. After painting her, I realized that grey had a sad outlook to it. Everything painted with grey was sad. Wing is more of a happy and outgoing character. She is grey with dark grey stockings, mane, and tail. She has crystal white shards in her mane, and a white splotch with black spots on her hind. She has gold hoofs as well. Her hobbies include: watching sunsets, playing in the shore with her fire ghoti, and picking clovers. Her friends are: Tarokio, Lost, and Giha. She has actually a family of her own.
