*knock-knock-knock*
Come in!" A voice echoes from inside the house as your knuckles tap on the door.
You step inside your friend's house and drop your stuff by the door. You recently transferred schools and have quickly become good friends with Krystal, and are working on a project for school together.
Go ahead and bring your stuff upstairs here and we can start in a bit. Have you eaten dinner yet?" you hear her ask from the floor above you.
No, not yet, you reply, your stomach grumbling a bit.
Well there's some soup in the cabinet if you'd like, and some bowls too."
Your hunger getting the best of you, you make your way into the kitchen and reach up to open one of the cabinets. Swinging open the door, you spot a can of chicken noodle soup, and to the right a burgundy bowl with white designs patterned on it. You grab the can of soup with one hand, and reach for the bowl with the other, when you think you hear a small noise coming from inside the cabinet. You pause for a moment, then pick them both up and place them on the counter. But once you put the bowl down, you notice there's something inside the bowl, it looks sort of like a big marshmallow, but with two antennae-looking things attached to it...and...your eyes grow wide in astonishment as it opens it's eyes, blinks a few times and then stares right at you.
AAHHHHHAAHHHHH!! a scream erupts out of both of your mouths, although the marshmallow's is a much higher pitch.
Gah! Get back, burglar! He says as he holds up a fork pointed at you.
B-burglar? What...No! I'm not a burglar! I-I'm a friend of Krys…wait, how are you talking to me?? you exclaim as your head swirls in confusion.
Wait, you know my owner? He replies, lowering his guard. Sheesh, would it be too much to tell me when random people come over here? he mutters to himself as he hops onto the counter. Well I suppose if you're going to come here in the future I should introduce myself. My name's Reyotsed, but you can call me Rey for short. Oh, and I hope you aren't planning on pouring that nasty soup into my bowl?
Uuh...no, of course not. And my name's _marshmallowz, you say with a guilty smile as you push the can of soup away.
Well, it's nice to meet you _marshmallowz, where do you- why are you still staring at me like that? Haven't you ever seen a grundo before? he asks with one eyebrow raised. You shake your head no in ignorance.
Really? Well then, how do I explain this? Well I'm what you'd call a mallow grundo, and… actually you know what? I think I'll have Krystal explain it to you since I just woke up from my nap with quite a shock and am still a little dazed. Here, take me upstairs, he says as he hops into your hand.
You grab your things and head upstairs, glancing back at the chicken soup that remains on the counter.
Enairokel is an eyrie that lives a carefree life, living among grassy plains and forests. He spends his time flying high above the clouds, coming down to earth only for short visits. Having an easygoing personality, it's hard to get on his bad side.
Zephyra lives in snowy regions high in the mountains. Her thick fur keeps her warm even during harsh storms. She is naturally adventurous and doesn't mind company from travelers, as there aren't too many creatures that live in such an area.
Bluorae loves to go exploring, and is friendly to everyone she meets. Although unknown to her, she has some special powers with crystals. She also enjoys taking care of others.
Back in his homeland, Zyklar was a brave and strong soldier, and loved by many. He is able to manipulate fire, although he cannot create it. He is calm and serious, but underneath has a caring personality.
Sylizax is a fun-loving eyrie who is always seen with a smile on his face. He enjoys taking care of his home among the coral reef, and acts as a guardian against any threats. He has a somewhat laid-back attitude, and enjoys playing around with his petpet, a maraquan quetzal.
